an in this episode: we talk about your favorite couples from the hills!

madi: hi sexies! i’m madison ware and you are listening blonde and bubbly! this week is the week of love and for that i have four amazing guest for you guys! but before i present them, i’ll tell you which fantastic champagne we will almost all drink today! so the bottle of the day is an Armand de Brignac Gold Brut. without further ado, i’ll tell you guys our four guests! we have kazi and mia, and jinyoung and atlas! two married and solid couples that i have the pleasure to be friends with. i’ll start to interview jinyoung and atlas, then i’ll finish with mia and kazi!

madi: welcome atlas & jinyoung on this special valentines day episode of blonde and bubbly! I'm so hyped to have you guys!! Lets start without further ado with the first question: how long have you guys been together?

jinyoung: over eight months I believe or in about that

madi: how did you guys meet?

atlas: we grew up in busan, south korea, together, going to the same school and all though we weren’t actually friends. i always had a crush on him but i actually bullied him quite a bit because i was dumb and couldn’t even be nice to him. he ended up leaving to start training at bighit and i never really saw him until i came to the hills and we reunited

madi: this is so adorable! what's your favorite memory of you guys?

atlas: i have too many memories to choose from but i think getting to go with him on tour and see him do what he loves. it was really amazing to see how outgoing he was on stage and how he and the fans interacted and he even came down from stage to kiss me at every show so that was nice

jinyoung: oh wow there’s so many. but i believe my favourite was when I took him to a dog cafe. you should’ve seen the way be lit up.

madi: awww! who's the messiest?

atlas: umm probably me, jinyoung is a clean freak and always is cleaning the house

jinyoung: him. he probably said something about me cleaning the house. i like things clean. plus it gives me something to do

madi: i see.. what's your biggest pet peeve about your significant other?

jinyoung: his stubbornness, in a way. my god, can that man get jealous. I want to smack him over the head sometimes but it’s not major.

atlas: probably that he doesn’t realize how beautiful and amazing he truly is, but i’m working on it. he will realize it sooner or later.

madi: this is so adorable. what's one thing you like the most in your significant other?

jinyoung: his eyes, they’re what made me fall in the first place. he likes to believe he’s not soft but I could see it in his eyes, they’re warm, like home

atlas: definitely his heart, he has the purest and kindest heart i’ve ever witnessed in a person. he sees the best in everyone (even if i don’t approve of it sometimes) and always wants to help make people feel better and make the world a better place. he truly is an angel

madi: im going to cry this is too much. do you guys have any special plans for valentines day?

jinyoung: uhh not that I’m aware of. I don’t make a big deal out of it because I think if you love someone it should be shown everyday not just go all out on the one day. but with that i’ll probably do something for him, maybe not big but meaningful

atlas: i do have something planned that he does not know about and it will remain a secret until further notice

madi: oooooh... Where was your first date?

jinyoung: an aquarium. I love aquariums. anything water related tbh. i don’t even think I talked to him all that much I was too into the animals, but it was fun and he was very sweet.

madi: i love aquariums too! What's your favorite thing to do together?

atlas: personally.. my favorite thing to do with him is make breakfast. Well.. I normally make the pancakes and he will make the tea or cut the fruit. We are super domestic and always do stuff around the house together and take our dog for a walk or play with our cats, but I’d say waking up to him and then cooking breakfast together is a big favorite.

jinyoung: I’m stuck between two. mornings, waking up to him and making breakfast and then watching the stars. those are just us things. the little things.

madi: this is all very romantic, i love it. thank you so much for participating in this episode of blonde and bubbly, it was a pleasure to have you guys! I have one last questions for you guys; if you could give any relationships advice, what would it be? Thanks again for coming!

jinyoung: ahhh you’re very welcome madi thank you for letting us on an episode. and oh gosh okay, um my advice would be communicate. I know a lot of people say this probably but it really is a big part. talk to each other, it can be hard sometimes but in the end it’s better. don’t hide things especially on how you’re feeling. whether you’re uncomfortable, or wanna try something. be open minded and respect each other’s choices. don’t wait to say things, just say them.

atlas: oh man, I really suck at giving advice but I will give it a go. I guess… don’t look for love or a relationship, it will come to you naturally and maybe when you least expect it. It could also be the person you least expect it to be, but definitely don’t wait around and look for love because when it is time it will come to you and if it’s meant to be it will be so amazing and life changing

madi: very good tips guys! we’ll now welcome mia and kazi!

madi: hi guys! tell us how long have you guys been together?

kazi: been together for over a year, been married for 6 months, been crazy abt mia ALL the time:)

mia: 10950.012 hours

madi: and how did you guys meet?

kazi: we met in a lil town called toronto n she was sayin i liked toes in my butt? i hadn’t even TALKED to the lady before.. then we started dming and quickly became enemies

mia: i stayed in canada for a few months.. like two.. when i was 19 and i ran into him at a bar [wanted to know if they had mozzarella sticks] where i saw him flirting with eight different girls at once they were all competing for his attention he took them behind the bar one at a time and boinked dem all and i thought to myself well thats NOT sanitary so i started a rumor in the bar that he liked toes up his butt and he got mad and said hey, u there, stop spreading lies about me and the rest is history

madi: what's your favorite memory of you guys?

kazi: my favorite memoryyyy idk there’s so many..when she told me she was pregnant (that‘s in the top 3 happiest moments of my life), when we got married, the whole day leading up to when i proposed n then when i actually proposed.. when we were fighting for like 2 days but we said we’d meet up on the beach in malibu to talk n we talked ALLL night n fell asleep there (didn’t get kidnapped by pirates).. when we babysat for luke and kaia the day after i told her i like her.. see there’s too many i could keep going

mia: idk i cant pick one mostly because i cant remember my memory is terrible but also because theres so many.. but uhhh.. probably when we spent all night being weird and taking notes on each other and he was educating me about the weeknd and other artists he loved cuz i was really getting to know him and know what he loved

madi: who's the messiest?

kazi: i’m gonna say FATTY is the messiest esp cuz that one time he took a shit under the dining room table n it stinked the place up but i couldn’t find the freakin poop.. lil trickster

mia: my boyfriend jose

madi: and what's your biggest pet peeve about your significant other?

kazi: when she’s a stubborn freakin BRAT n she KNOWS i hate saying no to her so she keeps goin til she gets what she wants but i’m toughening up..

mia: not really a pet peeve but it just bothers me that hes kind of a pushover.. he’ll let anyone and everyone walk all over him wish he’d be more assertive and just punch someone in the face if they mess with him u know (i dont condone violence)

madi: what's one thing you like the most in your significant other?

kazi: i cant pick one thing cuz i love n adore everything abt her.. but i’ll say that i love her amazing sense of humor, her natural and genuine kindness, and her beautiful perfectly sculpted yiddies..

mia: hes so kind and genuine and loving to everyone and everything hes also really undertanding and patient especially with me

madi: ugh you guys are so cute. do you guys have any special plans for valentines day?

kazi: no not yet, last year we went to paris and since mia’s pregnant this year we can’t go THAT far out but i think i might have an idea cookin so it’ll be fun

mia: i forgot valentines day was a thing

madi: Where was your first date?

madi: What's your favorite thing to do together?

kazi: i think we spend a lot of time eating together we’re always cookin or doin smth food related.. that’s when we’re not havin SEX!!!!

mia: iono i just like when its me and him [and our dogs] and we just talk for hours about anything and everything

in this episode: i talk about travelling with two special guests!

madi: hey babies! i’m madison ware and welcome to blonde and bubbly! we are back after a long break and in air for the first time of the year! we wish you nothing but success and good health. so today we have a special episode for you guys with two amazing guests! but before i tell you who, i’m going to present to you guys the champagne we’re going to be drinking! today’s bottle is a very fancy one, to celebrate the new year and it is an Engraved Krug Brut David Sugar! I cant wait to taste it with our two amazing guests: Kana and Kazi!

madi: whether it is for work or for their personal choices, these two amazing guests like to travel a lot. so we will be asking them a few questions about it. we’ll start with kana, the member of the popular kpop gorup EXO! Good evening kana! Welcome on the fourth episode of blonde and bubbly, we’re so happy to have you!

kana: How are you feeling? Whuss good Madz. I’m very honoured to be here. Caught all your previous episodes so I’m feeling very good about being a guest and being here right now. Fourth episodes a charm.

madi: so as you know, today we're going to talk about traveling! It's a subject i love because we feel like everyone can gain a lot by getting out of their city and discover their country or the wolrd. So you travel a lot right? Where have you been so far? Is it for work or for fun?

kana: traveling is always a good idea for work and play. and especially for opening your mind you’re right. staying home is no way to live if you have the means to go beyond. yes indeed i have travelled quiet a bit. i like to think it’s been a good mix of both reasons. i’ve travelled most of asia. so South Korea, Thailand, China, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Dubai. Most of those have been for work. Then for fun and some work I’ve been to a lot of major cities all over the U.S. I’ve been to Mexico, Italy, Greece, Hawaii, Canada, Paris in France, Australia, Amsterdam, London, Edinburgh, Manchester, the Maldives, and home to Ireland. so, very well travelled. I do think I mostly end up traveling for work purposes but I’m trying to make this year the year I expand it more for fun.

madi: this is so interesting! do you have any exciting story to share about a place you've visited once?

kana: well actually just yesterday i arrived back from dubai where one of our songs was played and given a whole show at the dubai fountain which was a pretty amazing honour and reason to visit there. having something you’ve worked on being played at the biggest choreographed fountains in the world and especially being given a ceremony for it was pretty amazing. i think dubai is one of my favourite places and this has been my second time back there in the space of twelve months. the last time being the trip with the rest of the hills cast way back when. definitely a great experince both times but this one was super special.

madi: where is your favorite traveling location?

kana: my favourite location is hawaii. now i think i’m partially biased in my reasoning only because my older sister lives there on oahu so any time i go there i get to spend quality time with my niece. but even if she didn’t, i’d still pick hawaii because lost used to be my favourite tv show and it was filmed on the islands and i ADORE forests and anywhere with trees of all kinds so getting to really just get lost on the islands is my favourite thing because i am very much a keep to myself person 99% of the time and hawaii allows me to just get out there on my own.

madi: what about the worst place you've seen?

kana: worst place i’ve been ? probably either china or the u.k. its split. china only because everything is so fast paced and clustered and its a lot to take in at once. don’t get me wrong i love the country as a whole and i’m moderately fluent in mandarin it’s just too much. as for the u.k it’s like home. ireland is only barely an hour across the water from it and it’s just pretty similar except ten times worse. i tend to avoid it to be honest.

madi: do you own a jet?

kana: yes indeed i do. i have my own baby which takes me all over the globe. i only ever fly commercial if it’s work related. or if i’m flying home. but always premium first class. has to be done.

madi: any tips for anyone who would like to start traveling and exploring the world?

kana: I think...... uh... personally i’ve been fortunate to have the means to be able to travel this much. but for anyone who doesn’t really have that opportunity i think saving is a big thing. save up and kind of map your trips as best you can so you don’t get stuck. if it’s your first time heading off i would generally advise not going alone because you’ll be so new to everything on that first off trip. apart from that all i can really say is just don’t be afraid to go for it but do make sure to always always be respectful. if you are traveling, especially on a continent that isn’t the one you’re from, be respectful of other people’s culture and their traditions and what they deem acceptable social behavior and activities. learn about the world and it’s different walks of people as you travel. if you’re just going to make fun of a new place or act the absolute twat in a different country, just stay at home.

madi: thank you so much kana for coming! What can we expect from you for 2018? Any projects you'd like to talk about?

kana: thank you for having me. it’s been a pleasure. in the rest of 2018 i think you’ll see a bunch of different activities from me within exo, as per usual. we have a few tour dates over the next few months as well as a japanese comeback so i hope you’ll anticipate those. as for me and my solo endeavors who knows. i do make my debut as an actor at some point in the next few months and who knows you just might see published author kana oh this year too. but that’s all relatively hush hush for right now.

madi: thank you again for coming, this all sounds very exciting and promising. our next guest is kazi the part owner of smk, fazed vodka, and the hottest indian pakistani restaurant in la, Aaftab chaand. hey kazi! Welcome on the fourth episode of blonde and bubbly, we’re thrilled to have you! How are you feeling?

kazi: i’m feeling good!! so excited to be on blonde and bubbly this is a dream come true for me i’m the show’s BIGGEST fan

madi: so as you know, today we're going to talk about traveling! It's a subject i love because i feel like everyone can gain a lot by getting out of their city and discover their country or the wolrd. So you travel a lot right? Where have you been so far? Is it for work or for fun?

kazi: truthfully i couldn’t even tell you all the places i’ve been in total there’s just too many.. but in the past like 2 years? i’ve been to monaco, london, dublin, paris, st barts, dubai, nyc, miami, chicago, toronto, cabo, fiji, iceland, guam, san fran.. i’m positive i’m missing a few, i feel like i’m on a plane at least once a month. 75% of the time it’s technically just for pleasure but i mean even when i’m traveling for work it’s fun to me.

madi: do you have any interesting story to share about a place you've visited once?

kazi: one time me and fitz got arrested in monaco for being drunk and not listening to a police officer, that was pretty funny.. gia bailed us out of jail that night, thanks gia!

madi: where is your favorite traveling location?

kazi: i have a love hate relationship with dubai but i think it’s my favorite. or fiji, when me and mia spent a week there for our honey moon it was really amazing.

madi: what about the worst place you've seen?

kazi: uhhh..i don’t know. i think i’ve liked all the places i’ve been.

madi: do you own a jet?

kazi: i don’t, however me and mia just decided the other day we’re gonna get one so it’s easy to travel with the whole family. so soon i will!

madi: any tips for anyone who would like to start traveling and exploring the world?

kazi: i’d say before you go somewhere do some research and figure out some cool things to do there.. like you can go skiing at an indoor ski place in dubai, or go to a geothermal spa in iceland, just gotta look it up and find the fun stuff to do.

madi: and we’re at the end of the interview! thank you so much kazi for coming! What can your fans expect from you for 2018? Any projects you'd like to talk about?

kazi: my biggest project is having a baby with mia, my family is what’s most important to me. smk will be expanding to nyc soon, i’m dropping an ep very soon and single coming even sooner. fazed vodka will be in stores everywhere feb 1st watch out for that, and i have a few other little things in the mix that aren’t ready to be revealed. thanks for having me on the show!

in this episode: talking about the holiday season and the most recent drama to unfold on the hills.

sabine: hello and welcome back beautiful listeners. i’m sabine al-masri bennet and with me is the always gorgeous madison ware.

madi: hey babes it’s madi and i’m so excited to be back with you guys!

sabine: as always, before we start let’s open our bottle of the day which is a 2002 louis roederer cristal champange gold mediallion jeroboam. so in the spirit of the holidays, madi and i are going to be talking about our holiday season. so madi how did you spend the holidays?

madi: well as you all know i’m canadian, so my sister tessa and I went back home for christmas. My brothers spent it with their moms. Fun story, my dad told me he was supposed to be in los angeles for the holidays but he was actually kidding, and i didnt know until the very last minute! But yeah anyways! i went to toronto, snowboard, relaxed, went to some clubs and had fun. what about you sabine?

sabine: so i spent the holiday season with my wonderful husband and his aunt. it was amazing, my sister got me a bunch of gifts including a scrapbook she made. and levi got my tickets to see some of my favorite sports teams and country musicians so i’m excited for that.

madi: a scrapbook oh my god that’s so cute!

sabine: before we get to the drama, someone said last time that we should talk about chrirstmas tree eyebrows, i have no idea what that is though. so let’s take a quick look now...oh, oh no. so i have one request for 2018, to never do anything like this again. madi, your thoughts?

madi: i personally think it’s fun? i dont know why every time some makeup artists do something like that, whether it’s the christmas tree eyebrows or the wiggly eyebrows, everyone think it’s a trend? but it’s just art? i say we keep doing more artsy stuff in 2018!

sabine: and now it’s time for a quick rundown on the past drama that’s occurred. looks like we lost some couples and gained some even before the year ended.

madi: we did! everyone seems good now and there arent any bad blood related to this so that good!

sabine: so aries and naomi broke up, cori and calvin got together. tessa and liam got together but i am not sure if they’re still together or not because they’re not in elijah’s thread.

madi: i’m so happy for calvin and cori! they’re so adorable together and both deserve the world! as for elijah’s thread.. all im gonna say is eh.

sabine: there’s been this very weird passive fight for kurt, maybe fight isn’t the right word but it seems like he and ivy have something going on and then there’s him and darcy, who are just friends they say. ivy also seems to be really interested in finn.

madi: well how i see is: ivy is just being herself and is a very flirty person? i feel like kurt and darcy have a thing and they seems to be good for each other so i hope something good comes out of this. as for ivy and finn all i have to say is whatever lmao

sabine: aries and rosie are getting cozy. something is going on between courtney and red, but also courtney and finn, but i think the highlights have been that big thing that happened between mika and sidney last night? i don’t know what went down do you?

madi: Nooo there’s nothing between court and finn, actually courtney is dating red. aries and rosie are adorable, i love rosie so much, i should dm her. as for mika and sidney i dont know what started their beef, is it the superhero talk? but it was long and annoying and clogged my timeline so im glad it’s over.

sabine: also tessa took a screenshot of that picture that jed & sawyer took together and that sawyer posted on instagram and it was just funny to see people’s reactions. basically, tessa was like i wouldn’t be happy if someone who i was with and having a baby was in a post like that.

madi: honestly i dont know why it created such a big fuss? if there isnt anything between sawyer and jd, then why keep coming at tessa like that? all she said was that if it was her man she wouldnt be very happy, and frankly me neither. but jagger doesnt seem to have a problem with that neither does jd or sawyer, so let people have their opinions? i mean, we’re on a tv show so obviously someone’s gonna have something to say about anything. in this episode: it’s all about relationships. whose in one? who might be in one soon? with a very special guest host today.

sabine: hello and welcome back beautiful listeners to blonde and bubbly. i’m sabine and al-masri and with me is the always beautiful madison ware. and we also have our beautiful guest host sabrina castillo here.

madi: hiiii! it is so exciting to be back for a new episode with you guys!

sabine: before we start, let’s open our bottle of the day which is a 2006 louis roederer cristal brut. so we had more than one request to talk about the relationships on the hills so that’s what we’ll do today. but first i want to just talk about relationships in general. madi, sabrina, what are your dating and relationship tips?

madi: oh i love this champagne so much! as for a dating and relatonship tips, i’d say is to stay true to yourself. don’t try to be someone you arent to please your partner. know yourself and your limits. i feel like, being in a relationship can be very exhausting? i dont know.. im not the best one to give advice so im gonna let sabrina go and take notes!

sabrina: be honest. if you aren’t happy, say it. if something’s bothering you, say it. for me, from personal experience, all of my relationships have ended because one of us wasn’t being honest about what we wanted. just be honest and let your significant other in. don’t hide things from them because you’ll never truly be with them if you can’t trust them enough to be honest with how you feel.

sabine: and i would say that my top tip would be to say what you need to say when you need to see it. i have missed out on a relationship here because i didn’t say how i felt when i felt it and i have had breakups here because of that. wether it’s someone you are interested in or someone who you already seeing, you have to, have to speak up.

madi: this is all so interesting, i’ve actually taken notes guys, and you should too! sabine wanna present the next subject?

sabine: yes, now onto relationships on the hills. so let’s talk about the oldest ones that are still going strong first. also shoutout to elijah for the amazing thread keeping track of relationships here, we appreciate it. now first we have kazi and mia who got together december of last year. we have q, sonny, and noemi who have been together since january too. belated congratulations to those three on the birth of beautiful baby winnie. we love her and you very much. ladies what are your favorite things about these pairs?

madi: i dont really know things about people’s relationships? i think they’re happy and that’s what i like. it’s weird for me to analyze my friend’s private things like that in details, i try to stay away from it. from what i can i see they’re all happy and complete each others so that would have to be my favorite things about all of them!

sabrina: i love mia and kazi. kazi and mia. mazi. kia. i know they’ve had their issues but they always seem to come out stronger after them if that makes sense. i feel like whenever i start dating someone new, i always hope to be like them. not just like them, but to have a bond and love like theirs, i guess. like i want to be as in love with someone as they are and have someone make me smile and laugh like they make each other do so.

sabine: we also have atlas & jinyoung, asher & jae, ace & larkin, thorne, elsa & kana, and xavier & karlie that have been going strong since the summer. in all of these relationships you can see how much love is present and you’re like “well this is a forever couple here.”

madi: aren’t we a little obligated to say ‘’this is a forever couple’’ tho? because if we dont then we look like a jerk? and what even is a forever couple, we all die at one point or another so.. nothing really last forever.. i think i consider them more like old couples. grandparents couples. does that make sense?

sabine: now potential couples, one i want to get off my chest right away is cori and calvin. i think that’s going to happen soon. also mika and danny? are they dating or not, i have no clue. if they are, it’s not official yet because it’s not in the thread. damien and reina or damien and chanel?

sabrina: i really like danny and mika together. mika is such a cool person and i think danny complements her really well because he’s equally as awesome. they both have such great senses of humor and they fit together really well. plus, they seem super happy with their relationship which is always an amazing thing to watch! and i haven’t really noticed any couples possibly forming except for flint and atlee. i KNOW they say they’re just best friends, but come on. that chemistry? hate to break it to you, but that’s not just friendship. luca and chanel seem like something might be happening there too. they’d be cute, they’re both super funny

madi: oh i thought mika and danny were dating already? im so behind in all this. potential couples.. hmm.. luca and chanel would be cute i guess.. i really think damien and reina would be good together, flint and atlee i’m not sure.. i dont see it. i see how people say they have feelings for each others but to me it just seems like flint is obsessed with her but in a friendly way? friend crush. they’ll probably date tho, everyone on this show who had a friendcrush dated them.

sabine: now sabrina, couples we never got to see?

sabrina: there are so many couples i thought were going to happen and then didn’t. xavier and rowan, xavier and me, adrian and toni, antigone and jd, sawyer and thomas... i mean, so many! i know that, like, two of them happened for maybe two days, so i don’t really count those as actually happening. that probably sounds so mean, but. oh well.

sabine: well sabrina we have a few questions for you but first, jesse says hi.

sabrina: hi jesse whats up are you excited for vendettas?

madi: Next one is for sabine and i and says ‘’ annoying and cliquey ‘’ ooh...

sabine: i can't apologize if you find us or the podcast annoying, that's your issue. no one is forcing you to listen to this. when we ask for feedback we mean stuff we can actually build off of. as for the cliquey part, we are going to try our very best to be inclusive of everyone on the cast. and if we're still navigating our way through this so please be patient with us.

sabrina: oh my god. ok so he tweeted something like “i like someone”, right? so i dmed him and was like omg who!! and we dmed for a bit like me convincing him to tell me, and so he was like ok fine... and he said he liked ME and i was like uhhhh okay. why? CUZ I WAS CONFUSED LIKE WE BARELY TALKED?? and he was like what do you mean why ?? and i said we barely talk and he was like “omg. wait. is this not sabine.” and i keysmashed and was screaming

in this episode: a recap of the hills at the one year mark and the most recent awards

sabine: hello and welcome to very first episode of blonde and bubbly! i’m sabine al-masri and i’m here with my lovely cohost, business partner, and beautiful fellow blonde madison ware.

madi: hi everyone! Like Sabine just said, I’m madison and i’m so excited to be here today and chat with you guys today! For the very first episode of our new podcast we’re going to do a little recap of everything that happened to past year on the show, to celebrate the one year anniversary of the reboot!

sabine: so since i have only been here since june, madi will cover the first half of the hills and i will cover the second, so madi, the floor is yours. also, today’s podcast is sponsored by veuve clicquot, madi and i will be opening and drinking a nice bottle of 2008 vintage brut rose on today’s airing.

madi: thank you peach! so when the reboot of the show started back in november 2016, there was a completely different atmosphere if i can say so. A lot of the first cast members left, i think there less than ten original members left? Kazi got with Mia in december and Finn was with a girl named Kate. The first couple of the show were Brenda and Miguel, i cant exactly remember if they got together at her iconic birthday party or not. Miguel was such a funny guy, he always had jokes and was nice to see on the timeline. They’re both parents now. A few weeks later came Sonny, Quentin and Noemi, some of the most appreciated cast members here. Then Sawyer,Sabrina, Xavier and Thomas. Thomas and I rapidly got close and became best friends, although people always said we had a thing and were dating, which was not true. we were also in a sorta triangle love type of thing. at the time i was helping a friend, named kai, who needed a fake girlfriend. so of course i said id do it and pretend to be with him and all. but i was very close to thomas, and everyone could see it. they thought i was cheating on kai with thomas, sawyer even came at me for this, i remember it perfectly. then kai left and thomas’ kid was born and he got with riley. i had this thing with a guy named reese, but he was always fighting with everyone on the timeline and never actually happy? i remember nobody understood what i liked in him. He was actually a very nice guy, but had definitely a lot of issues.

sabine: and for the second half of the hills recap, i have a shit memory so i’ll be using things from gossip as highlights. i don’t remember much from the beginning of my time here, but there was that raf, kai, bella drama i remember. that love triangle. that was kana was a huge player too, and him and erin had their drama. sawyer was with aiden, yaya and carina were that on and off thing.

madi: then summer came along and we got a lot of new people, including toni, aries & adrian. a lot of the old problematic cast left, thank god. things were rather calm at that moment. I think just a few weeks before that i broke up with reese and then we almost got officially back together but he cheated on me with one of my friends, so i was having kind of a rough time. but i got back on my feet and traveled and forgot about him.

sabine: It was also around that time that Antigone joined the show, right? funny story here, we used to be friends and then i hated her and now we’re the best of friends again. i didn’t like her “married men” phase and not a lot of people did either, i remember she got a lot of shit for it. larkin was a cry baby back then and so was astraea. some anon i remember called atlas and jinyoung from the start so congrats to that anon. i never knew that erin was pregnant with kana’s baby, was that true?

madi: Acutally i still dont know if this is true or not!

sabine: there was that huge baby fever eruption over the summer and people had those stupid rumors about kazi cheating on mia. can i just say? to anyone who thinks kazi and mia would ever cheat on each other? you’re an idiot. oh, elijah got mugged right? that was wild.

madi: the cheating rumors have been here since the start and they’re just..pathetic. It’s sad to think that someone spent a year sending those to a gossip. and it’s so sad to see two of your close friends go through that. i also forgot to mention, the golden couple had their wedding back in july. it was a beautiful ceremony, however, like at every events on this show, someone acted like a fool and made it all about them. that someone? is crazy astronaut girl. yes, astraea. i think she broke her hand at the reception then wouldnt stop complaining about it. she was probably in a fight with blayze.

sabine: he has a thing with astraea! she was literally in love with him. dean and barbie were together at that point. i think thomas and i were dating at this point too, it was kind of on and off around the time of the wedding. okay here’s another anon i want to point out. “who the fuck is libby and why do people like her”. to answer that libby is an amazing human being and people don’t like her, they love her. javon and naomi were a thing. jagger and thorne became athing. sofia and finn were a thing. antigone and raf had their beef.

madi: astraea was obsessed with blayze and with the idea of having a boyfriend really. there were a lot of couples at that time, and they all broke up a few weeks later.

sabine: and this part is gold, when asked who the cutest couples were, gossip responded “gia & fitz, aiden & sawyer, finn & sofia.” that just shows you how far we’ve traveled. and people thought bryce was some kind of casanova who went around breaking hearts for fun, which couldn’t be further from the truth. a few weeks later aries and toni got together and stayed together for a while, until she broke things off. another bashir joined the show too, Abel. he and sabrina immediately got into a relationships. around the same time or so, antigone and adrian had broken up, again. and missy joined the show. she had a thing with him, and sadly left because she didnt feel welcomed.

madi: then fall came along and some people from the past came back, like effy, cyrus and sofia. and this is where im going to stop the recap, because if you’ve watched a few recent episodes of the show, you know what happened. if you havent, you can always watch them all online on mtv’s website!

sabine: and now moving on to last night’s awards, there are some that i saw and was like bullshit, you know? what did you think mads?

madi: i think the reactions we inevitable! i kinda expected them and thought i wouldnt be surprised by the results of the votes, but i was.

sabine: the first award that kind of threw me off guard was the most under appreciated one, i don’t know how rallo weaseled his way in there but i don’t think he should have placed. i mean if people really got to know him the way i have, i would say there’s not much to appreciate.

madi: really? i love rallo, he’s one of my best friends. he knows literally everything about me. i didnt expect people to vote for him tho, but im actually happy they did. i see a lot of his tweets that arent about his idiotic musicallys get unanswered and it angers me. i hate when people here ignore others.

sabine: for cutest couple, i would have placed q, sonny and noemi in first place. they’ve just always been constant and loving and i don’t think, as far as i can remember, them having issues. so i think they should have at least tied for first, or been first.

madi: i think it wasnt a surpise that mia and kazi won. what i was surprised to see tho is that antigone and adrian won, seeing by the anons on the gossip i never knew people really thought they were cute or so. it’s nice to see them top a couple like mazi. i also completely agree with what you said on quentin, noemi and sonny, we love an unproblematic couple. to be honest, i hate to pick between couples, i feel like im always betraying one of my friends, am i the only one? probably.

sabine: here is what pissed me off the most, the cutest couple that never was. adrian and toni, me and kazi, and fitz and gia. i don’t know why any of those recieved votes or the votes that they did, but whoever voted for those hasn’t been paying attention. adrian and toni for starters, aren’t close like they used to be, so maybe a couple months ago they would’ve actually made a “cute” couple but now, no way. me and kazi, are just friends, i’ve said before he’s like a cousin to me. and fitz and gia were a couple weren’t they? or am i wrong?

madi: well first of all, adrian and toni were never a couple i believe so? just like kazi and you, right? a troll sent yall names and people just decided to go for you guys. as for fitz and gia, they were together for a long time and were very cute, so i understand why some people voted for them.
