Mom's blanket is satisfactorly warm, and her presence is comforting. I appreciate being allowed into the bed, but I'm not sure why I'm allowed to in the first place. She keeps calling me a "licorice jelly bean", but I don't know what that is. Maybe someday I'll figure it out.

Blackjack sat on Mommy's lap for the first time today! Maybe he can post soon, since he likes it here and started calling her mommy too. We love our new big brother! ❤️
Mommy thought he might have worms, but he isn't showing any symptoms other than being skinny, so he's probably just not eating enough. Mommy says that a mean lady used to be Blackjack's mommy, but he was scared of her and ran away. It's a good thing he ran to mommy, because she has the best canned food! 😸
