Weird Things I Love #326 This embroidered tea towel. When my sister moved to Alexandria, Minnesota we soon started receiving these embroidered tea towels as gifts. They are large flour sack towels, which I adore. I have seasonal ones with leaves, holly, turkeys, spring flowers and this one...Good Luck on Tuesday with a woman ironing. They are made by a woman in her 90’s and sold at a little mercantile gift shop in the small town. I’m dying to know what the point is to this one. ••• I’ve been a little quiet on sharing from the process front lately. Not intentional really. This is a found object, a fallen sycamore branch that I cut into little rounds. This one double sided with the intention of sitting on a surface and turned by hand whenever the heart desires. I love that the branch had a flat edge to it just perfect for sitting around. It feels a bit like it is stuck to the surface it sits on. Like it dropped from above.
