So much TRUTH in this - I have long since decided I am not going to let the irrational, upside-down world of the shipperbats to rain on my Outlander parade!
Happy Birthday to Herself!
My Wee Message to Outlander Fandom on Diana’s Birthday.
I usually don’t see wicked and mean posts in my Tumblr or Twitter, because I already blocked some people who constantly post negative comments and so called Extreme Shippers who keep creating alternative facts. But last couple of days, a part of Outlander fandom which is minor but very loud seems out of control, again. Some normal fans even expressed some concerns that their behavior would hurt the rest of the fandom.
Here is my take. I cannot control other people, but I can control myself. I still take the high road. In order to keep our sanity, I will post a couple of words from Twitter. The first one is from Sam Sykes who is a son of Herself, Diana Gabaldon who wisely observed a toxic fandom. He was not particularly talking about Outlander fandom, but this would apply to every fandoms. The screen cap’s credit goes to @breezylouisey (Thank you, breezy!) The rest are from bankcy@therealbankcy. I always remember these words when a negative force was coming to me. Let’s keep these words in our mind and step back from the nasty dramas and celebrate Diana’s birthday.

Some one has to be pretty damn unhappy with their own life to be such a hateful troll... it makes you wonder if some of these people spent half as much effort trying to fix their own lives as they do trying to make others miserable...
Can we all please report the IG troll fameho_. Looks like a comeback of bs_no to me with the tagging of Lionsgate.
I’m afraid Instagram is not responding well to reports. I’ve reported several pretty bad trolls and the response from Instagram is 🤷♀️. It’s really up to the account holder to report them. Having said that, I’m not opposed to anyone else reporting these trolls but I think it’s better to just ignore them. They WANT the attention.

I’m long past worrying about what the shippers require as proof that their ship doesn’t exist, If people still want to hold on to that ridiculous illusion at this point, there is no help or hope for them. Cait has made her choice, and I wish her every happiness!
Say What?
So Cait needs to come out herself and “say the words I’m engaged to Tony” before some will deign to believe her. Apparently People Magazine said she was engaged. Cait only said “It happened” not what specifically happened.
They are also posting fake receipts like the Dodger’s ballgame, the lemon and the fists. All have been debunked long ago. They are also ridiculing the lack of PDA shown between Tony and Cait.
We will now see who are the most entrenched Tinhats in the fandom. We already know most of them and they will continue to ship on and wallow in their conspiracy theories. Jess, Julia and Lauren are just mean girls who bully anyone who doesn’t fall in lockstep with them. They lie and manipulate and will continue to do so until they get bored and seek out another fandom to poison.
Best wishes to regular shippers who get tired of the craziness, theories, fake anons, hate spewed toward Tony, MacKenzie and anyone else who undermine the ship and want to just enjoy Outlander and Sam and Cait.
Me? I can’t wait for the wedding!

Congratulations to Caitriona and Tony! I’ve always thought Tony was actually a good looking man, I’m just not crazy about his hair, but he has the whole artsy geek thing going that is rather endearing. I am truly happy for Cait. I alway figured she would send the Sam/Cait Ship crashing on the shoals. lol!
Another post in my “Lasses, please” series is verra a propos right about now I would say. 😊 I’m sure some of you will get the “Highlander, there can be only one,” reference from the Highlander movies and TV series.
For Cait, there has been only one Scotsman these past 4 years–his name is Tony McGill. Mrs. McGill has such a nice ring to it. I’m not implying Cait will change her name…I just think it has a nice ring to it.💍💑
