- Was it fun to play someone still working towards maturity well past the age he should be?

- It was something that I felt pretty close to at that time. I was on  the verge of getting married and starting a family. I could definitely  relate to the feeling of not wanting to let go of my youth. Perhaps I  wasn’t as desperately unhinged by it as Jimmy, but I could definitely  relate, and at the time when we first conceived it, the characters were  considerably younger. But because it took as long as it did to put  together, the characters kept getting older, so there was a concern if  it would be believable that someone of my age would still be in the  game? It is. There are guys that, especially in doubles, who are older  than I was at the time of the movie, so it worked out really well.In a way, it became even sadder when a guy who’s nearing 40 – I was  37 at the time – has not let go of that youth. In this time, in our  world, that is really what I’m seeing more and more, a lot of guys who  are around 40, and they’re like, “Oh, man, I’m a little behind. I should  really become cool heading off to the next stage of life, but I’m not.”

I agree with you! Jeremy is an incredible actor and his dramatic roles are thrilling. I am in love with Knapp (Kidnapped Series) and Freddy Green (Ice Series) where in my opinion Jeremy gives the character that mysterious and dark veil that fascinates! Jeremy Sisto is such an underrated dramatic actor. Like, I’m sure Suburgatory is a great comedy show (and I know there’s probably some dramatic elements to it), but someone needs to write a drama show for him as the lead. Someone, please, just take advantage of his intense and incredible acting abilities, okay?
