Ok so I’ve been getting a few questions about the ending of redrawn, to most I’ve replied saying I don’t really have one planned yet. But I’ve come up with a little concept;
So there’s the boss fight with bendy and henry defeats him with the reel (or something else I haven’t thought about it much), afterwards the exit is drawn for henry or it just builds itself, henry approaches it and opens the door.
He enters his home, and notices that he’s no longer a toon anymore, and is soon greeted by Linda. She tells him how much she’s missed him and that she’s so happy to see him all ok blah blah blah, then at a point she’s like “Oh honey, you can’t leave just yet.” Henry’s confused and like “Wh-what? What do you mean I can’t leave?”. She then says “Don’t you know you’re a star?”. Her smile gets all crooked and her body gets more distorted (maybe she morphs into bendy?). Henry then looks down at his hands and sees that he’s a toon again. There’s a shot of his face which then pans out to a reveal scene like this; a hoard of cult members watching henry from a tv screen with bendy looming over them.
Maybe like bendy doesn’t want to enter the real world anymore or it’s revealed the curse can’t be broken by Henry, so now he gets to torment the man who put the pen to paper and created him in the first place, for eternity?
some things might change (sum of it is inspired by another au, tho I’m unsure if the ending is canon anymore) but the basic idea is there ig

is this gonna remain an au or one day become a real game? Because I think it has potential for some real greatness.
On a side note, do you have ending planned out for your au?
I’d love for it to become a real game :), I just want to get an understanding of how to use blender and unity a little before I plan on doing so. I don’t have any experience in game development or much money to hire anyone so I’ll probably end up doing a lot of the work myself, but yeah it’s possible that it could become one!!
As for the ending, not really haha, I don’t know if I want to still keep the cycle idea or not. If I had to include it it would be more like a reveal that henry is trapped in some endless cartoon rerun or something. Im super open to any suggestions tho!

Yes! The ones I thought of so far are just an axe, cartoon revolver/gun and a knife or sumth similar. But I’m sure there could be more

First off, I want to say that this is one of the best things I have ever seen. I've heard of and thought of a bendy more rooted in his inspiration, but you, sir, have taken it so much farther!
Secondly, and as an actual question, would the hypothetical "game" still be a 3D first-person survival horror, or would it be different? I ask primarily because a lot of the "gameplay" concepts are staged in a format where we can actually see Henry as opposed to the original game where we can't see him at all.
Thank you! and I’ve thought of Redrawn being like a mix between a 3D first and third person game. Like when Henry is in the real world it’s first person but when he enters the toon realm, the game becomes third person (little nightmares style), I think it makes feel a bit more like a cartoon, and certain things (eg: boss fights and chases) could be executed better. Idk sumthin like this (bellow) although you can’t tell much that’s it’s still 3D.
Although Tbf I think it being a mainly first person game (with just certain parts being in third person) could work too

Ok i know I posted this on twitter and once here (but I deleted it accidentally) soo here
Recently I’ve been wanting to make redrawn a collaborative project instead of it only being developed by me and tirah, and I was wondering if any of you guys would like to help on it in the future? This isn’t really a super serious project, it’s more to share art, ideas etc and having fun whilst doing so.
I do have ideas for potential projects related to this au, but I don’t have much plans for a fan-game right now, but it’d be rlly cool!! id love it to become one, tho I’m no expert when it comes to game development, ….but perhaps one day 🤔
But yea any help would be appreciated! (Artist, animator,writer, VA, and so on). NOTE: i won’t be selecting a lot of people, just a small group is enough, and there’s only so many people I can manage 😭. So don’t feel bad if you don’t get chosen, you can still enjoy the stuff we make :), If you think you’d be interested (this would probably happen late may-june), just reblog this post with a tag/comment saying so and I’ll have a look at it eventually.

DID YOU KNOW: Before the release of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit "Oh Teacher" (1927), a character named Bendy was Oswald's bully instead of a cat. He was later replaced due to a lawsuit that said: "He looks like Felix the Cat with a bow tie and buttons". This version is considered lost.
