My surprise trip to Rome, Italy, for my birthday. Finally, before heading home, visited v Villa Borghese Gardens in the centre of Rome. Absolutely beautifully stunning place and got the weather for it as well. It is the third largest public park in Rome, amazing buildings/monuments/structures throughout.

My surprise trip to Rome, Italy for my Birthday, these images are of/near the Spanish Steps, both during day and at night. They are the longest & widest steps in Europe. Wonderful view of the italian skyline.

Historically, the steps bridged Rome's powerful French community with the wider Roman and Papal populace by connecting the square below with the French Church of Santa Trinità dei Monti on the Pincian Hill.

My surprise trip to Rome, Italy for my Birthday, next up, was Piazza Novona, once was a stadium built during Emperor Domitians rule, over the years has been city market place and popular meeting point for romans & tourists. Beautiful square and has two gorgeous fountains - Neptunes Fountain and Fountain of Four Rivers.
