i haven’t read a starless clan. here’s my summary of it, without looking it up.
frostpaw is training to be a medicine cat. as with all medicine cat apprens nowadays for some fucking reason, she would rather be a warrior.
mistystar is finally dead. but so is her deputy? and every cat that tries to become leader dies so riverclan just doesn’t have one rn
frostpaw is supposed to decide who the leader will be for some reason
she goes on a quest and gets her balls cut off at the vet
some guy named splashsomething does a murder maybe. idk
frostpaw’s mom SUCKS
frostpaw has a lesbian girlfriend named whistlepaw who i believe is from windclan
riverstar himself comes to personally speak to frostpaw or something and they still cant fucking pick a leader for riverclan
there’s a cat named podlight i think which isn’t as bad of a name as twigbranch but it’s bad enough that i cannot stop thinking about it
