Marshae Jones was shot in 2018 during an argument. She was 5-months pregnant at the time and the trauma ended the pregnancy. While charges were dropped against the shooter, the survivor, Marshae Jones is now being charged with manslaughter for starting the argument. Black and indigenous women are almost always the first targets of policies that attempt to steal autonomy over their own bodies from women. Marshae is clearly the victim in this situation, yet she know faces a hefty prison sentence for being shot. She is being held on a $50,000 bail. This is absolutely disgusting, and we must end both the system of cash bail and the prison industrial complex that seeks to criminalize black, brown, and working class white people at every opportunity. #SayHerName

i think……..one of the many problems in how sex is perceived in society is that we seem to think its this “skill” like people are very anxious about getting experience or practice or whatever wrt sex but that’s not really how it works, it’s a fundamentally an expression, a conversation; two-sided, subjective, situational, and figuring out what works for everyone involved, as opposed to being just another objective talent to master for all situations as if its one-size-fits-all without consideration to your specific partner

Why are we silent???

It is horrifying that history will always repeat itself. Sudanese protestors will keep dying until the country has no more protests. Just like Egypt. Men, women and children are being shot at in the open and the world is silent. Sudan is such a beautiful place with amazing history but the world doesn’t care. One by one African nations are dying to fulfill some political agenda and the world is pretending to be ignorant. How can people just get raped and murdered out in the streets but it isn’t even deemed as important as a building in France. Please read about this and try to help. As of now Sudan has no hope.
