6 years have passed
Bakugou Katsuki, the hero known as Ground Zero, the hero tied for the spot of #2, had grown from a angry, insecure jackass to a slightly less angry, but still kinda of nice, jackass. He had gotten taller, gained weight, all of it muscle. He had to shave once a week.
Katsuki Bakugou was a adult.
He lived in the middle of the city, in a apartment to big for him alone. And yet, he never even considered the thought of getting a roommate. No, the empty spaces were left alone for someone he didn't know if he'd ever see again. He kept them bare in hope that you would come back to him one day, knowing full well that you would want to decorate.
He still hung out with yours and his classmates, even learning to be friends with Izuku again. Deep down, he knows that's what you would of wanted. Annoyingly, Round Face and Izuku were still beating around the bush.
Everyone knew that they had a thing for each other. Sero had started to take bets.
Speaking of the tape guy, Sero would disappear and reappear randomly. His hero work let him travel the world, and Sero loved every minute of it. Last Katsuki heard, Sero was somewhere in Aruba.
Denki and Shinsou had moved in together, they planning on getting a cat.
They asked him to be the cats godfather, making Katsuki roll his eyes. Denki begged and begged for him to reconsider, saying that he trusted him to watch over his little Bee if something should happen to him or Hitoshi.
Mina and Tsu were engaged, although no one knows who proposed to who. Mina would argue that she proposed, telling everyone that would listen that it was a grand proposal, with swans and fireworks. Tsu would roll her eyes and say that she proposed to Mina outside of the grocery store.
Iida and Mei, a girl he doesn't remember ever meeting, had started dating. They made a very unlikely pair, much like you and him had been.
Todoroki was the other hero he was tied with, although sometimes Katsuki thinks Icyhot didn't really want to be a hero. Katsuki told him once he should look into taking over for the retiring Aizawa at UA.
Kirishima had came out, admitting to Katsuki that he once had a crush on him. Katsuki wasn't too surprised, nobody was. He knew you would have been happy for Kirishima for being who he wanted to be, and that's how he felt about it too. Now, he made sure he was best damn wingman for Kirishima.
Katsuki sat at his desk in his agency, looking through fanmail and invitation to events. He sighed, this was one part of being a hero he could live without. Three times a day, he would get letters from people asking him to marry them. And three times a day, he'd get invitations to fundraisers. The legitimate ones, he didn't mind, but he flipped his shit when once he got from a rich girl's father, asking him to help pay for the daughter's boobjob.
The radio next to him played a old song, one he remembers you singing badly at the top of your lungs. He hated the song, but loved listening to you sing it.The memory made him smile, although it was bittersweet. He still missed you.
When his phone began to ring, he glared at the machine. He needed to answer it, but the thought of there being a rabid fangirl who had paid someone a obscene amount of money for this number made him cringe.
Begrudgingly, he picked up the phone "…Yeah, what do you want?"
A familiar laugh on the other side of the phone gave away the caller's identify "C'mon, dude, that's no way to greet the father of your goddaughter."
"It's a cat, Kaminari, not a actual child. What do you want?"
"Well, I was wondering if you got the invite to the art gallery opening?"
Katsuki frowned, shuffling around the papers on his desk until he found the white envelope "Hm, yeah I got it? Why ya wanna know?"
"So you haven't opened it yet? You should, and you should definitely go. Everyone is going, it's kinda of a reunion in a way…"
"Tch, what the hell are you talking about, dumbass?"
He could hear another voice next to Denki. He wasn't sure, but it sounded like Shinsou. Denki squeaked" "Why are you wearing that, oh god, no you need to go and change.”
“Why? Because all you really want is to bend me over the counter and-”
Denki started to stutter "I-I've got to go-Oooh my god! Bye, K-Katsuki!"
The line went dead. Katsuki pulled the phone away from his ears, not ever going to be able to forget what he just heard "…Ew."
He placed the phone down and picked up the invite. He turned it over, looking at his name written in cursive. You never could write in cursive, your handwriting always looked like shit. Everytime he'd tell you this, you would laugh and say it was because your brain worked to fast.
He ripped open the envelope, pulling out the content. It was a rather pretty looking invite, light blue and white, with more cursive letters.
He raised a eyebrow, why was Denki trying to get him to go so bad? Katsuki could never remember once ever mentioned anything about like art.
Well, that wasn't exactly true. He had always liked looking at whatever you drew. Rather it be your interpretation of of meme, of the rare picture of himself, usually smiling.
Katsuki felt his heart rate speed up at the thought of you. There was never a time, except maybe in battle, that you weren't on his mind. Even his mother still talked about you everytime she called.
Shaking himself out of his reverie, he read out loud the information on the invite "Ground Zero, you have been cordially invited to the opening of the art gallery, The Rose. It would be a great pleasure for my business partner and I if you would attend."
"My business partner recommend that I invite you, she says she knows you. Perhaps you remember a girl named-"
The name on the invite made him stop. There, written in fancy cursive letters was your name. His fingers traced the word, his heart fluttering madly in his chest. After all this time, even just seeing your name made him feel warm.
That's why Denki wanted him to go so bad…
He stood up from his desk, sending papers flying everywhere. Quickly, he went to the office door, flinging it open. His secretary jumped, placing his hand over his heart "Mr. Ground Zero, is everything okay?"
"Cancel my appointments for tonight and tomorrow night. And call this number and tell them I'll be there."
"W-Wait, sir! Where are you going?"
"I need to go buy a stupid tux!"

the grind don’t STOP!
Bakugou doesn’t use social media very often. Despite this, he has a fuckton of followers but follows only a few people.
The ratio is for that is skinny and cute! Literally it’d say “1,419 followers/32 following”
He’d only follow a handful of people from his class (so basically his friend group), you, UA’s official instagram, expensive brands, and All Might (if anyone approaches him with this fact, he’ s throwing hands…)
Barely posts, but when he does… holy shit…

He’d demand that there was some form or trace of him in your Instagram bio. Like his name, or the date that you two got together.
But he won’t do it on his because, “Fuck off, it’d ruin the layout.”
When you post cute photos of yourself or “IG bangerz” you tag him because he wants to be the first to see your posts, he also helps chose what you should post in the first place

Quick summary: Bakugou (25) is a single dad of four year old Hatsuki. Full-time Hero, full-time dad, full-time exhausted and lonely, but he’d never admit that aloud to anyone.
You and Kirishima have been dating for a while and often babysit Hatsuki as Bakugou relies on everyone in his friend pool to help in a situation he never expected to find himself in but wouldn’t change for the world.
He craves companionship and familial stability for his daughter but assumes no one would be good enough, not for either of them.
But maybe he’s been looking in all the wrong places.
Bakugou x Reader x Krishima Poly AU. Short drabble chapters posted sporadically. I don’t know how long this will be, it’s just an idea that I had and fleshed out with @weebonfilm and decided to write it out officially. I want to explore a healthy polyamorous relationship while also dealing with the difficulties of raising a kid in a world full of Heroes and villains.

Hatsuki skipped down the hallway humming a song only she could hear. He realized he’d made a mistake letting her pick out her own clothes when his eye twitched at the mismatched dress and stockings but he didn’t have time to make her change. “Daddy-”
“Tell me whatever it is on the way, gotta drop you off before I head in to work.” Bakugou held out his hand expectantly until Hatsuki hopped towards him and took it, his palm dwarfing hers as they headed out the door.
