Of all of the unrealistic things in 911 and any other procedural show...the LAFD apparently has a strict tattoo policy. Currently under administrative review and hopefully it'll change but at the moment Buck and Eddie would be forced into long sleeves all the time. Which would be very sad for th viewers (hello Oliver's forearms) but probably great for the makeup team.

I also checked for our friends over in Austin and while TK is fine, Judd's knuckle tattoos would be a huge no-go. Tattoos that are not able to be covered by the formal dress uniform are disqualifiers for Austin FD.
