My hair is currently just below shoulder length-I will usually grow it really long and then donate 10-14 inches every couple of years. Do I grow it long again? I feel like now is a horrible time to do it because my hair is thick and heavy! Might not be the best idea for summer, but all I can think about is how pretty it would look braided. It braids better when it's long.

Please help me through this indecisiveness... my hairdresser is asking me if I want to come in for a trim soon!!
