Something I appreciate so much about Exandria is that they've all pretty clearly decided that homophobia doesn't exist in this fantasy world- because why should it when it's much more interesting to let characters just feel how they want to feel free of societal stigmas and the characterizations they cause- and despite this Imogen Temult STILL manages to act like a disaster lesbian who watched doctor who in middle school and was afraid to talk to girls until she was 25 at every turn

This is what I think would happen if they were somewhat prepped
Kristen would banish and Adaine would use a portent to make sure she fails
They spend 10 rounds prepping so imagine the last stand but they have more time, Mephits! Rats! Steed! Spirit guardians! Bless! Bardics x2!
Adaine would use Bigby's Hand specifically Grasping Hand to restrain her. Mephits would just surround otohan if only to give her something other than the bad kids to hit.
Fabian would drop the rats almost immediately then start using up all the spell slots to do the most amount of damage in the least amount of time, assuming the hangman’s there we get a breath weapon.
Riz would do do massive damage on sneak attack alone, could haste himself to get extra attacks.
Fig would disguise herself as ludinus to fuck with her, but if we get the echos she’d disguise herself as an echo. Fig would either debuff otohan or try her luck with smite and booming blade, she would be able to use otohan psi strikes to add damage to her attack.
Gorgug would use barbificer to see resistances and immunities and then just go crazy with his axe, probably chug the fire giant strength soda
Kristen Applebees would focus mostly on healing and try to keep her bless concentration up, death ward the front line fighters. after the banishment she would focus on aura of vitality, also she could channel divinity twilight sanctuary which would give the bad kids almost constant temp hit points at the start of every round.
And then we have the familiars giving advantage whenever necessary.
And they’d do all of this while accusing otohan of being homophobic
That being said it’s clear the the hells need familiars if only to get the help action. Also they need to visit a magic store and stock up.
The Bad Kids are the same level as Bells Hells. Put Otohan Thull in a cage match with Applebees I wanna see what happens

Hellooo I just want you to know my gf is obsessed with TMA and I am obsessed with CR, we each know a bit about both, and I’m reading your AU posts to her and she’s saying things I don’t understand like “oh of COURSE she’s the end” like it’s a sports match lol
I’m so glad!! I’m having a blast with this!
Me and @lord-have-mercer were talking about what FCG would be and we thought up both the spiral and the web but are unsure.
For the web I was thinking that loss of control so so it kinda nods to FCG’s stress rage or how in his backstory he killed his adventuring party and wasn’t in control of it.
For spiral it’s that fear that he’s lying to himself that they don’t know who they are. That he’s unknowingly lying to his friends.
