Great point anon. They turned on Tee, now Trey is Ja’Marr next ?? Joe deserves the money don’t get me wrong! But it does take part in it. Tee said they haven’t had contract talks since last March. They never planned on keeping him
Yeah it’s difficult to find the right financial balance and keep everyone. Joe’s contract plays a part but we can’t blame him. He deserves it and above all we NEED him more than anything else imo. If the Bengals said no to him, he would have options. Many said he should have taken one for the team taking less money but no one else is doing that, why should he?
Sucks for Tee and the others, sucks to hear there hasn’t been any contract talks with Tee but that’s the business. Doesn’t mean we won’t complain and cry and whine 😂

it’s not because of joe, the bengals have a lot of cap space they just don’t want to pay what anybody worth, but Joe and Ja’Marr. This isn’t on joe.. he made his contract to keep guys like tee, which he said.
people will blame Joe, but if the bengals hadn’t paid him, they would also be complaining

Especially with a team that has a history of starting off slow your gonna be missing your best defender while one wr is going to be there , and franchise qb is coming back from injury. these band-aid deals are rarely a good option. he signed and then probably realized how much he’s worth and now wants to be paid. don’t think the trade will happen but a potential training camp holdout is not good
