Glitchin' Out

Welcome to my Art blog. I'm a 26yr old bi-romantic demisexual white male artist, he/him, trying to plan/make a comic or animation called: "Glitch Hunters" It's about a blue collar duo, the stressed stoner glitch scientist Strange Weird and the super strong, girl-bossing, pro wrestling champion Scene! They are the government contractors people hire to fix glitches in reality and fight the monsters they could create. On this blog there will be: -OC art and lore, concept art for the comic/animation -Fandom art at various points cause y'all like it. -Me reblogging and showing off friend's cool art/art I like. -i try to *NOT* to post memes, art tutorials, photos, vent post or etc but it may have very rarely. -i have had this blog since middle school, my OCs used to belong to different fandoms, now I've made them into their own thing. I don't use Tumblr everyday so if you see me like a bunch of your posts all at once that's me either discovering your blog for the first time or catching up! I like to leave replies on art I like!

I cannot tell you how much I f***ing love this so much!!!! It's times like this it's hard to tell if my favorite part of being in the request server is drawing people's OC or when my friends over there takes one of my requests and absolutely kills it every time!!! I know I haven't posted anything in a long while, and I just wanted to check in! I've kinda been mostly having a hard time getting myself to sit down and do art lately between some personally bad mental health vibes at one point, some pretty bad art block, and having a lot of fun distractions like video games and such, but also trying to balance stuff like doing more stand up comedy and etc into my real life schedule and routine.

Right now I'm all in all doing good all things considered, and I'm hoping to get to doing more art more regularly soon, but I'm also going to be honest and say 'it happens when it happens' lol. I don't wanna force myself because I don't wanna make *anything* that just isn't fun to make lol. I appreciate the few of you who stick around and hype me up, and my friends/mutuals who gladly chat with me about our individual OCS and storylines and plans and stuff, either in dms' or various discord chats lmfao, its always fun and its encouraging!

I do have more WIPs than I can count that need finished and so many more ideas kicking round so hopefully the art forces itself out of me soon and y'all are here when it does! Anyways above is a palette of all the colors (including 50% lighten/shaded) used in current OCs I have designed so far, just for my own reference, lol.

Everyone please go spam my good Tumblr friendo @cyanicus with congratulations on college graduation! They are so talented and hard working and it's been clear in every interaction we've had and they totally deserve a gift in the form of any new eyes checking out their blogs, liking some arts and posts and just general good gratulations on doing an amazing thing vibe!

✨I did it! I graduated college!✨ 🥳🎊

ngl, college for me was.. well, rough. I started at uni all the way back in fall 2017 (lol yes, it was that long ago). I was going through my classes at a steady pace, on track to graduate within the typical 4 year timeline and all that, but then the pandemic hit in late 2019; I moved back home when I heard about it, but then I had no choice but to also withdraw from my old school, since they didn't offer online degrees.

When I transferred, I lost most of my credits because my last school only had a "pass/fail" grading system and most schools only accept transfer credits with letter grades. I had to do lots of credit appeals, placement tests, and repeats of classes I had already passed at my previous school... needless to say, the whole thing ended up setting me back a few years.

On top of everything else, my physical and mental health have both taken a turn for the worst. Doing full-time online school means rarely leaving your computer (especially when the pandemic was going on and staying indoors all the time became normal), so I've developed a very poor posture over the past few years. I keep spraining my wrists from overuse, and have needed to make regular visits to a chiropractor 💀 My sleep schedule has also been terrible. I won't even get into how bad my mental health has been. I've struggled with it for most of my life, but seriously wtf, I did not sign up for this x _ x

But now that I've earned my degree, I'm so happy that I have one less thing to worry about :"D I finally get to move forward in my life again, I finally have time to do the things I've been wanting to do for so long; finding a steady job, making plans with my boyfriend, restoring my body and mind back to a healthier state (hopefully better than ever), and generally making sure that the remainder of my 20s are well spent.

First thing I'm gonna do though is make up for all the years of sleep deprivation!!! Goodnight~😊💙
