In other news.. WE’RE BACK!! ((I’ll still be answering the asks that have been sitting in my ask box, no worries! But I thought that picking up where we’ve left off, when it’s been nearly a year, would just drag on a bit. SO we have a mini time skip!))

Shadow: He chuckles at the odd question. “I mean if it was much longer I would run the risk of biting it off all the time so… I am thankful for that I suppose.”

HI, I MADE SOME NEW REFS...

I am trying to slowly come back here now that inktober is over and I thought it was about time I remade all their references because I have had those since like.. the beginning of the blog. You may have noticed with these new refs, some characters have changed again!! Mostly Alex.. I am sorry I change him so often lol but expect some new content soon!

Zero@Alex: "Hello! Now, without saying what had been said by someone else, what if I were to say that Shadow like-likes you?

Alex doesn’t seem to know how to respond but he definitely seems surprised.

Zero@Alex "Hey, Alex. How you feel about Shadow? Like what you think of him and such!" The Umbreon approached Alex, and then sat in front of him.

Alex: “I just want to help him, but I can’t if he won’t talk to me. But, despite all these things… He is my best friend. I have known him since I was small and he’s always been there for me. He listens to my problems and is always there to comfort me when I am down. I didn’t have the best upbringing, and back then I mentally… wasn’t good. I did a lot of not so good things and he helped me to stop. He helped me through all of that and he makes sure that I know that I am loved and cared for, made me feel wanted. He still does, he is super supportive of everything I do and… it’s really nice. He has helped me a lot. He’s always accepted me for who I am and I feel like I can really be myself about him. I couldn’t ask for anybody better.”

Glow@Alex: "Why do you live in a hole? Wouldn't it be nicer above ground," glow asked with the bluntness only found in young kids.

Alex: “you see… we somewhat are trying to lay low. We don’t want to draw attention to ourselves, mostly because Shadow doesn’t want anybody trying to hurt him if they find out he’s a Demon even though he flaunts himself around and contradicts what he wants… but whatever. Plus there’s always the threat of humans coming and trying to catch us. But, I don’t really mind hanging out in here. We are surrounded by a beautiful forest, and it’s easy to leave. This cave is just like a little house! I made this cave myself and can add any additions at any time, and it gives us privacy from the community in the forest! I couldn’t ask for anything more. It’s not as bad when you have as many pillows as we do.. and it doesn’t get too hot in the summer!!!”

So, ah, Alex? What do you look for in a romantic partner?

Alex: “I don’t really ponder the idea of romance very often, but I don’t think I am too picky… I just want somebody that of course.. loves me and accepts me for who I am. Somebody loyal… I don’t really ask for much. Just somebody I can be myself around. Somebody who can be both my friend and a lover. I don’t think that’s asking for too much right?”

@Alex Saturn lightly taps in the flygons tail, "u-um, have you noticed anything different with shadow lately?"

Alex: “Ehm, no I haven’t. Shadow is pretty unpredictable anyways, so if he were to do anything out of the ordinary I don’t think I would notice. I am pretty used to his erratic behavior.”

You know, pondering this line of thought is pretty hard. You know whats harder though? Changing the topic! We got question that need vague answers! Who is this tiny bird fellow? What is his name? Where is he from? and most importantly of all, what is this deal with those Angelic schmucks in the scene before hand? Does he belong in some sort of super secret heaven club? Does the protagonist know anything about this? Does he even have a CLUE? What madness is going on here?

???: “My name is Dovev, but most people call me Donut! I am originally from… a place far from here, I came to visit a friend nearby. But I happened to run into Shadow here first, so I stopped to chat. I have a hard time not helping somebody so sad, you see.”

If i know longtime friends they will understand nomatter what, even if weird, worst thing you can do is be shot down.

Shadow: “I just.. don’t want to ruin how things are between us right now if he doesn’t return my feelings. All these bad scenarios keep playing in my head over and over… I just don’t think I should until I am sure-”
