Hiatus

Yeah, I know I’ve been on one for moonnnths, but I’ve come to a conclusion that I hope people won’t hate too much.

We’ve got a season going on right now, and this account started in the depths of bleak desert that was the gap between seasons 1 and 2, when we were all desperate for content and wild on theories. Right now, we’re all consumed by season 2, which is good and right and fantastic, and I think as far as I’m concerned, I’d rather wait until we’re all in dry-land again before I start this account up again. So save your questions -- who knows? They might be answered by Filoni himself? and if they’re not you can ask them between seasons and I’ll get to them.

In the meantime, may the force be with you.

Is mod doing okay?

Mod has had a rough few months tbh, but thank you for asking. We’ll be back, I do promise, but right now I’m trying to sort out a lot of RL things, and end of year holiday shenanigans are going to severely limit my free time. 

Apologies for the lack of content but the SWTOR expansion came out and I am kind of distracted. I will get back to this when I’m through SWTOR I promise.

is there any particular reason why there don't appear to be many young children on lothal?

Ezra: Oh yeah, well. Most parents wouldn’t let their kids run around the way I did. Because... you know... parents. They look after their kids. You probably didn’t see many because they were in school or at home. 

But there were just as many kids there as there are on any other world as far as I know.

Do you think if you found Ezra before you met Hera would you have made the same decision to train him?

I honestly don’t know. I think... I think I might have. Eventually. But it would have been a difficult decision to make, and I don’t think Ezra would have... been as happy about it.

would you guys ever get a pet? unless you already count chopper

Kanan: Chopper would reaaaaalllly object to being called a pet. Just so you know.

besides kanan (obviously) have any of you ever been to the core worlds?

Hera: I’ve been all around, before Kanan joined the crew I went on recruitment missions in the outer and inner rims. Sometimes I was with my father, but sometimes I was on my own. I never really had time to sight see as such, though.

Kanan: We spent most of our time as a cell on Lothal, the core worlds really are too heavily occupied by Imperials for us to spend any time there.

Sabine: I probably would have ended up closer to the core worlds if I’d stayed with the Academy. I’m glad I didn’t though.

Ive always cried alot as a kid, and I still cry alot now that im an adult. As a kid everyone would make fun of me for crying, and now people act like it makes me weak to cry. Hera, Kanan, as adults do you think its weak to cry? Is it really that bad?

Hera: Of course it isn’t. Crying is our body’s way of coping with trauma, if you hold it in you’re going to burst eventually. Sure some people don’t like to cry in front of other people, but it’s not anything to be ashamed about.

Kanan: Hera’s right. We all do it. Some of us need to do it more than we do. It can make you stronger to acknowledge your feelings by letting them show. Don’t be afraid of it.

I'm in need of new master. My former 2 masters died and you killed my third master, Inquisitor, so can you be my new master now?

I’m…. kinda full up on padawans right now. We’re really not supposed to take more than one at a time, although… now that I think about it, it’s probably going to be an issue later on.

Kanan, how would a Jedi deal with something like anxiety? You mentioned Jedi not letting emotions control them, but what about fear? If someone's afraid, and they don't know how to control it, does that mean they'll inevitably fall to the Dark Side? Even without knowing it?

Eventually fear will lead to the dark side, yes, if it consumes you, if it takes over your every waking moment. But as long as you fight against that fear you’ll be able to find your way back to the light.

If you’re lashing out at others because of your fear, if you’re using it as a tool to hurt people, that’s where the danger is. Fear itself isn’t the problem, it’s what it makes you do. You can understand your fear, find what is causing it, and still not be able to stop it. That doesn’t mean you’re weak, it just means you have to keep fighting.

Why doe Hera have eyebrows? Why? Also, why are her eyebrows always on fleek? Like dang, they be great, bro.

A lot of twi’leks have them tattooed on to make us look more… human like I suppose. It’s a tradition that goes back to early contact with other races. Some of us draw them on but mine are permanent. It’s just easier and it draws less attention.

I might not agree with the tradition but in my line of work it’s best not to draw too much attention.

what does hera think of your hair down?

Kanan: What… what is that look. Hera?

Are you as cute as I think you are?

I don’t know. How cute do you think I am?

For all of you: What if you had to be alone again?

Ezra: I’m good at it. I’d be fine.

Hera: Alone is relative, and no one ever has to be forever. It’s not as though we can’t move forward from things. If we were separated there’s no saying that we wouldn’t meet again. And if we never meet again, there are other people in the galaxy. 

Kanan: Hera’s right. People are usually only alone by choice. Whether they’re aware they’ve made that choice or not… well that’s more difficult. But it’s not something that has to be permanent.

Sabine: I’ve never… I don’t think I’ve ever really been alone. I’m sure I could do it. I’m glad I don’t have to.

Zeb: I spent a long time thinking I’d always be alone. Guess what, I’m not alone now. So yeah. The others are right.

(For Kanan and Ezra) Is there anything about the Jedi you disagree with? Anything about the Sith you agree with?

Ezra: Well, Kanan hasn’t told me a whole lot about the Sith except that they’re bad and they like to kill people, and I don’t agree with either of those things so no. As for the Jedi, the kinds of things I’ve been learning about are mostly just… that they’re good, that they help people, that they need to channel the force and protect the innocent.

So yeah. I agree with that.

Kanan: We haven’t gone through the entire Jedi code yet, so, there’s a chance he’s going to find a few things he doesn’t like. But he’s a teenager. Teenagers don’t like a whole lot of things and they still have to get used to them. 

Ezra: So what DON’T I know yet?

Kanan: Easy kid. When we get there you’ll know it.
