i’ve officially picked up writing on the fic after my hiatus slash writing block of the last six months or so. i can’t make promises as to when the chapter will be done, but the waiting will now we shorter rather than longer, so that’s good.
like i said with the last update though, i have a lot of work to do. look at the mess i’m in:
nothing makes sense anymore! aaaaa
but right now i’m in good spirits, and that’s honestly the main thing, even though the fic turns out to be a quite different thing than I anticipated it would be, and halfway through too! i’m gonna scream if i end up with 20 chapters or more. HELP
(and i have a backlog of asks i wanted to answer, but if you wanna send in new ones, feel free. i’m stuill feeling a bit burned out in regards to drawing as well, but i also wanna get back into it, and maybe a few asks will inspire me)

If its okay to ask: is the 2050 comic the future of tws??? Or is just an alternate universe of it?
considering the multiverse theory is always canon in the TMNT franchise, it’s probably an alternative universe, as SAINW tends to be. there’s so many ways the future can go, isn’t there?

I dont know if this would work as a filler, but any chance of introduction new characters like Leatherhead or Usagi??? If its impossible, then what abt making some fillers more Leo centric, since in TWS we end up not seeing a lot if him?? Like idk, Leo and the edgy stuff that goes in his head, Leo thinking abt all this sexual orientation stuff too (since Mikey talks abt it all the time, I imagined he thought abt it too at some point), anything really!!!

New characters
Planned mostly for 0Nin, where I will have time and space for them. TWS, since it’s tightly focused on Raph (and in lesser amounts, Casey) doesn’t really have the room to go introducing and focusing on a bigger cast. Already the cast is so big that I feel bad when I have to cut everyone else out just because it would blow this story up. The lack of Leo is due to this as well, I just don’t have the room for them all -- but if I can make it work, the filler should have more Leo in it. I do love him so.
How They Met
Is actually something I considered as well so it might happen 👀
Mikey-centric
might (might) happen in 0Nin so I don’t think I’ll put it in TWS just yet.
Splinter
actually, there’s an important scene with Splinter planned (and mostly written) so I might expand on this to give it more depth. good input, anon.
I don’t wanna give too much away, but Klunk will be in 0Nin. (Kinda also really wanna give a Raph turtle that he calls himself the dad of but I dunno how to make it work considering [REDACTED]. We’ll see!)
