As Francis was going on his rounds, he comes across a basket with an infant inside sleeping peacefully with no note.

With his sleepy state, He almost walks past it. But then he pauses. He turns around to make sure he didn't imagine that. He stares at the baby. blinks once. Blinks twice... He tries to make sure that this is really happening. It even feels like a dream at some point. But after a little while of contemplating, he finally acknowledges that this is indeed a baby in front of him. He sighs and looks to his sides. This is seriously none of his business. He will be late to work if he spends time dealing with this. So he gives the baby a regretful look and walks away.

..oh who is he kidding.

It takes him only a few steps to turn right back around. He picks up the basket by its handle. There is an orphanage around here somewhere.. he'll just quickly give it and get to work.

"mm.. Imagine if I had to go to work today, but didn't want to, so I said 'ill deliver today's stuff tomorrow'. But I have stuff to deliver tomorrow as well. Which means I'll be in a huge rush and stress tomorrow with the orders of two days squeezed into the same day. you might be feeling burnt out. it's when you overwork yourself to the point where you don't want to do anything anymore. Or maybe you are feeling under the weather and want to stay in bed all day.. which is alright to feel as well. But remember that life goes on. Delaying and delaying your duties will do nothing but put you in more stress on the future. Do take care of yourself, and take rests when needed. But don't neglect your duties. Just when you start feeling better, seeing all the things you haven't done and have to do might put you in an even bigger stress than you were previously in. you need to push through. At least a little bit. Don't let it consume you. I know you don't want to.. but you have to.remind yourself that it's easy. Award yourself with something afterwards if it'll motivate you, like.. take out. If you're seeing my point.. thats what I can give you."
