"He survived the Calamity" "He didn't survive the Calamity" Honestly I think we're sleeping on the idea that if Ludinus himself didn't survive the Calamity, then his parents quite possibly did (elven lifespan, yo).
Which says that he maybe he grew up surrounded by people who remembered the Age of Arcanum (and like, remembered several hundred years of it), ranting on about how much was lost, it's all the Gods' fault, etc etc etc.
Not that I'm trying to give the villain a tragic backstory, he's still an awful person, but... it would make sense. Being surrounded by that kind of vitriol at a young age could certainly create the villain we see now.
So anyway, what we clearly now need is an EXU:Calamity sequel in which the cast falls in love with a precocious little 10-year-old elven child... who maybe makes a couple of concerning comments... but that can be waved off... they're only a child, after all... maybe some bad influences at home...
Only to reveal right at the end that they've been interacting with Ludinus Da'Leth.
Just to see their reactions.

Panel 1: Early morning. Laudna is making her way slowly alongside an empty country road running through a wildflower meadow, running her hand idly through the tall flowers. Rolling hills. An abandoned fort. Mountains in the distance. She is weeping silently.
Panel 2: She stops and half-turns, hearing Imogen’s voice in her head, but from her position at the top of a hill we can’t see her.
Imogen:
Laudna!!
Panel 3: (wide middle panel) Imogen slams into her at full speed, knocking them both off the road into the meadow.
Panel 4: Lying on her back amid the flowers, Laudna smiles up at Imogen sheepishly.
Laudna:
Oh . . . hello.
Panel 5: Imogen leans over her, in a reverse position of how they first met.
Imogen: (out of breath)
Why . . . why did you . . . why did you leave?

Ability: Moon Madness*
Dex: "A mysterious LYCANROC that run away from its master during a full moon frenzy, it traveled into a distant land where dark energies triggered a dangerous change.
It comes out only during the night, announcing its arrival whith a blood-curling howl, it will hunt and devour anything it finds alone in the dark, be it pokemon or man. It Is specially vicious during full moons.”

-Blood Moon

-Moonlight
*A pokemon hit by this user will have its ability changed to “Moon Madness”, its attack willl rise, but the pokemon will become confused, this confusion cannot be cured
Decided to make a bloodmoon pokemon for my own region, and choose LYCANROC because it made sense, with the whole werewolf theme it has going on. Really proud of how it came out
The Moon Madness ability is basically a werewolf curse, if Bloodmoon LYCANROC bites you or scratches you, you turn into "werewolf", or at least you behave like one

My last bonded pokemon for now, this time the pokemon is DUNSPARCE, one that grew tired of not being taken seriously by others, it became a retainer to gain the respect and fear of others
Its design is based on those cartoony red devil costumes with plastic horns and a plastic trident, this is more obvious in the shiny form thanks to the red color

FUDDIMUDDI (Poison/Water)
Third bonded pokemon, this time the pokemon is a MUK who wanted to become clean
Before anyone says anything, yes, the shiny colors are barely noticeable, I have made many shiny pokemon before with very distinctive color differences from its regular forms, it was time I made one of those where the difference is barely noticeable, it was neccesary.
It is based on the Umibōzu, a Yokai whose name translates as "Sea Monk" and the chain is placed in its hand to resemble the praying beads that buddhist monks carry

LICKITISPLIT (Poison/Dark)
I saw a post on Twitter by the fakemon creatorn Pen Paladin doing their own version of bonded pokemon once PECHARUNT was officialy released and I wanted to make one too. This one was a case where the name came to me before the designt itself, but in the end it just made sense.
The bonded pokemon iself was a LICKITUNG who became a retainer in order to gain power over others. Its design has elements of both LICKITUNG and LICKILICKY
For its shiny colors at first I wanted to use the original Lickitung/Lickilicky shiny color (yellow) but since the only color that changes on this shinies is the black, it didn't contrast enough with the pinks and beiges, so I went with electric blue.
Its overall design is based on Banchō delinquents from japan, with its hair turned into a pompadour and its dark skin resembling the uniforms and black atires they wear,
