Coming to an End One year working at the Magic Kingdom. So many great moments, so many friends, so many great experiences that have changed my life forever. I could not have done it without my family, roommates, CHH family and my fellow thunder cats. This year has given me so much and I am glad to took this year to follow my dream of working for Disney. Now as my Disney College Program comes to an end, my new life as a merchandise cast member at the Disney's Polynesian Village Resort starts and it will be just a bit of what it is to come in my future. Almost There

After 11 months down in Florida working for the mouse, my Disney College Program experience is coming to an end. From meeting my new roommates to working at Columbia Harbor House to extending my program to making some of my best friends to working in the wildest ride in the wilderness, my days at the Magic Kingdom are coming to a close. But no worries my journey keeps going in Disney. I have recently applied to work full time/ part time at Walt Disney World (I put in for the transfer on November 24th), and today December 5th I received a call from casting offering me a part-time position in the role of Merchandise at The Polynesian Village Resort!! My dreams of working in a resort are coming true and I could not be happier. I will continue to be on the wait list for a full-time position but for now I am super happy to be able to work in one of my favorite resorts! This past year has gone by so fast. People have come and gone in a matter of nothing, new faces are learned everyday, and friendships are made that will last a lifetime. My DCP has giving me one of the best experiences of my life and it has taught me about the reality of the world we live in and how to be an adult. But I would not change this year for anything. I am thankful for all of the people I have meet and all the friendships I have made. I will try to update but as the holidays get closer the less I will be able to post... BUT I will try to take pictures of the holidays at MK, the parade taping for Christmas, the service celebration and FORMAL!!! Have fun!!!

Updates... This time in the right blog!

Alright I will give y’all an update LOL I know it’s been a while but I have several great news. 1. I LOVE Big Thunder Mountain!!!! I have meet so many great people there and the work is not bad (as long as I am not grouper lol) even thou I was stroller parking for 2 weeks and then training for 2 more it was worth it because I passed my assessment and now I have that mountain memorized in the back of my head forever. 2. You know how I said I wanted to extend till January and all that well… I got ACCEPTED to extend my program through the Fall 2014! I’m am so excited words cannot describe! I will be staying at Big thunder mountain until January 5, 2015!! 3. I finally meet Anna and Elsa!! Anna was so sweet and she loved my hair, but then Elsa was sassy and wanted my earring as a gift for her kingdom and she said she would just give me chocolates in exchange… I might take her up on that as long as the chocolate is either toblerone or Nutella LOL 4. Celebrity Spotting in the Magic Kingdom!! I got to see Hugh Jackman and his family a few weeks back!! (I told him to pull his lap bar down and then waved at them as I dispatched the train from station!!!) (they were super nice and sweet) I also got to see Arianna Grande and her 50 people group... We had to stop loading people because her and her group wanted to ride twice. Her group of friends and family were nice in the other side her... I better leave it at that. 5. Final news of the day, and the most important: my family is moving down to Orlando in September!!!!!!! In so excited we have been planing this for a bit and we can't wait!! I'm glad I will have them near me again!!! (Even though I'm going home this weekend to visit lol) PS: I will try and keep up with my post PPS: I will probably post more pics than anything lol

After some ages of not updating Hello everyone!! Sorry for not updating in so long. I have been super busy… and sick since I got my extension. Last I updated I posted that I got extended for the Summer 2014 in Attractions. Well, after a couple of weeks of torture for not knowing where I was going to work, I got my new location… Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom!!! I was so excited that I was staying at MK and even more excited to be working in one of my favorite rides. I started at Thunder on May 19, actually, they had me doing stroller parking for 10 days. Finally on June 1st I started my Big Thunder training. All I has to say is that Thunder is AMAZING! I have learned so much about the Mountain and getting to walk it was awesome. Hopefully I will be updating more often and posting more pics. One of my best friends is here from Canada on vacation so there will be lots of pics of us around the parks as well as pics with my fellow thunder cats and roommates.
