Wow, I absolutely hate the new design of the Touken Ranbu game. They took away all the charm and art and left a sterile, generic looking and confusing user face. I loved just looking at the game because it was designed beautifully but all that is gone now.

Am I the only one who is upset? Might just stop playing after all these years. It doesn't seem worth the effort to figure out the new menus with this ugly mess.

Does anyone know where I could sent any feedback to let them know? I'm honestly heartbroken...

Original Japanese direct translation of "心理" to "Psychology" has been kept alongside the localised term of "Interrogation" for clarity, and the Japanese text route guide is preserved in a separate expansion tab from the English guide; both are still on the same post for people's convenience.

Hello! I saw your post about the side stories in ikeseries.

One suggestion is that you try to purchase the stories for the guy who is your most favorite among those you've already read.

Also, I'm a little biased for Sirius (because he's my ✨husband✨ lmao) but his side stories were really great! Especially those that come along your second reading (if you've read his route twice, that is). I really love them not only because Sirius is my favorite character, but because he doesn't usually show his true emotions. Hence, I find reading his POV really worth it.

I love Oliver's side stories too! I haven't read Lancelot's yet but I think they'd also be worth it (but it could be a little dramatic IMHO).

Thank you for the input! You're the second one to suggest Sirius so I guess I have to try his. But maybe I'll go for another playthrough first.

Which side stories are worth buying in the Ikemen games?

So I have been saving a few "key to his heart" in IkeRev and IkeVamp. I'd like to get some of the side stories from their perspective but I'm not sure which will be best. Something cute or romantic would be nice. I don't want just drama or story progression. Any suggestions?

Kikkou Rescue Squad

I’ve finished all the event missions two days ago only grinding on map 4. Kikkou has still not appeared. It’s time to send the ultimate rescue party. Changing my default Kiwame team so that Sada-chan is the leader with Sada-kun as his second in command to bring Sada-san home safely. My hopes are high and the boys are in good spirits. Let us finish this event successfully!

!!Wanted!! (update)

Since my last wanted post I am still missing four swords to obtain all available Touken Danshi. The number is the same the swords are new...mostly. 1. Kenshin Kagemitsu 2. Azuki Nagamitsu 3. Koryuu Kagemitsu These three can be summed up pretty easily: “Those damn impossible smithing events!” I could not forge one single new sword during their events. In fact the only smithing event where I ever got a sword was Oodenta by pure luck. I’m a bad smith ok? Whenever I have the chance I much prefer to try my luck grinding a map than forging a sword. It took me months to forge Urashima how am I supposed to forge anything in a few days?! And who knows when we will ever get the change to get these three again. Smithing events are also frustrating because you can’t even guess when, where or how the sword becomes obtainable again.... 4. Kikkou Sadamune This guy....still. I never missed a sword I wanted during any of the War Training Expansion Events before. Of course the one sword that is impossible to grind for on the regular map is the only one I couldn’t find when he finally showed up in the event. I feel cursed with this fella. I suppose he has some personal issues with me..... The really sad part of this story is that since he just got an event to drop in the next time he may show up in one can take forever to come around. Will the day ever come on which I have all the sword boys or shall I suffer for eternity?

Hello my precious baby! I can’t even put into words how happy this Tantou makes me. When I found out last year that Yana Toboso drew Tourabu Doujin I was so excited! Even though I haven’t read Kuroshitsuji in years I just love her art. It’s so clean and beautiful. So when this guy was announced I lost it. I’m just so happy for Toboso to be featured and so glad that we got an official Toboso Touken Dashi. AND he is voiced by literal Eren Yeager! I feel like nothing can top this.

Look who is back from training! Let’s see how the Kiwame Wakizashi will do!

Dream Daddy Thoughts: The Christiansen Family (spoilers!)

There is so much unanswered stuff in this game but especially the Christiansen family is just strange. Right in the beginning Joseph tells us that he has four kids. We get to see the oldest Chris, the twins Christie and Christian and we know the youngest is called Crish who is a toddler. But we never get to see Crish. In fact we hardly interact with the kids at all even if you are going for Joseph. On Josephs first date we briefly see Chris, we get one scene with Christie and Christian (which ends up being very sweet) and two more scenes with Christie alone. After that none of the kids are ever seen again. Mary is actually never shown with her kids alone. She doesn’t talk about them and there is only one instance in which we see her talking to Christie. She taped over one of her kids’ movies with the Shining and doesn’t seem upset at all. Also she really doesn’t care about Crish. When Joseph asks her to find him she is annoyed and says that he’ll be fine on his own since “ toddlers are pretty resilient”. What is weird about that is that Mary doesn’t seem to hate kids in general. Depending on which character you end up with Mary goes out of her way to talk to Amanda and give her some “life advise” before she goes off to college and it seems very genuine. So does she not care about her kids? I don’t know. Her daughter definitely adores Mary which we get a glimpse of on Josephs first date at the cookie sale. But there are not really any interactions between her and her kids. On the other hand Joseph doesn’t interact with them much either except for two cute scenes with the twins. Also he always acts concerned whenever Mary tells him that she has no clue where Crish is but he never actually goes out of his way and looks after the Crish himself. And if Mary really is a horrible mother that would make Joseph a horrible father for knowingly leaving his kids in her care. So I really have no theory at all. I had some but they wouldn’t add up. All I want to know is where Crish is really. Does he even exist? Why did the developers make such a big deal of repeatedly mentioning him and pointing out that his parents never know where he is. Is there a bigger meaning behind it or is it just to create a certain atmosphere?  Why did the other three kids turn out so creepy? Can Chris even talk? What the heck is going on in this family?

The only thing I know for sure is that Joseph is an ass. I was willing to cut him some slack until the very end because sometimes life doesn’t go the way we plan but at the end of the game it becomes painfully clear that we weren’t the first person he used to get some fun time. If you finished two dates with Robert before you go to Josephs third date you get an extra scene that underlines his bad character.

(Also does Mary know that Joseph slept with Robert? How did they become friends after that?)

Robert carries unnaturally many things in his jacket around that shouldn’t even fit there. Damien carries unnaturally many (and big, a picnic basket really?) things in his cloak around that shouldn’t even fit there. Mary is friends with Robert and Damien. Mary drinks wine 24/7. Robert and Damien will always carry around a bottle of wine in their jacket/cloak. This is how they became friends with Mary.

Dream Daddy Thoughts : Damien and Mary (spoilers!)

I’ve been playing Dream Daddy recently and while I enjoyed the game a lot there were some things that stood out to me. One of the more subtle ones is about Damien. On Damien’s first date he says "To be able to wake up in the morning, pick from my closet a variety of cloaks, top hats, and even binders that are period appropriate feels amazing..." . I thought it was unusual for a guy to mention how he wears binders especially since it seemed so casual. Afterwards I read somewhere (and I’m not sure if this is true) that one of the people who where involved with the game confirmed Damien to be trans. It would make sense though. With that said I had a theory about Damien and Mary actually. Mary will tell you this on Damiens third date: “Damien’s my special boy. I love him. We go way back and I got a vested interest in his health, success and well-being. If you ever hurt him...”.  So we know she cares about Damien, she also clearly cares about Robert but she never gets that blunt or protective about it. On Roberts third date she actually makes a point of discretely asking you to look after him so Robert doesn’t hear you two.  There clearly is a difference in her relationship with Damien and Robert. Since she mentioned that she and Damien “go way back” my theory is that maybe she knew Damien even before he transitioned. Maybe they went to school together and were friends. I think she would be so protective of Damien because she helped him through the time when he was confused and later when he transitioned. She probably fought a lot of people who have been awful to him because of his transition and it became a habit to do so right in front of Damien to let him know that she is not afraid of being alienated for sticking up for him because he’s important to her. Damien can take care of himself just fine by now but Mary could never get rid of her protectiveness because of their past and she still openly challenges people out of habit. Damien has to stop her frequently...

Wow This event was... surprisingly  easy.  I can’t believe it’s only the second day and I’ve finished it. o.O Not complaining, though! I’ve been waiting for this guy! <3

*whisper* It’s been 84 years..... *hysterical laughter*

My beautiful son is back home. I’m so proud of him! His letters nearly made me cry, though. Please let my boy be happy now! (I need a game mechanic that let’s you adopt a Tantou or a Wakizashi of your choice because I need Fudou to officially be my son. Seriously I don’t want to marry a Tachi I just want to adopt this precious angel. Let the Touken Ranbu players have nice things, too!)

Considering Fudous new Kiwame form. (and because I'm still not over the damn letters he sent) How would he react after his return if the Saniwa would be genuinely sorry for not realizing why he was always drinking and apologized that he didn't take better care of him? The Saniwa also tells him that they are so proud of his growth and that they will work hard to be a better master and not disappoint him again.

Bless you anon I’m so glad someone brought up Fudou’s kiwame. I wanted to cry when I read his letters and dialogue, this beautiful boy comes back so mature I love him so much. Also, as a side note, drunk jokes aside I think I read that what Fudou drinks isn’t alcoholic?? Anyone feel free to follow me up on that if I’m right or wrong I just think it’s entertaining.

• He would strongly want to assure the Saniwa they were doing a great job; they always have and just insist he hadn’t been mature enough yet to cope without drinking but he’s changed. • He’d probably go as far as to thank them for putting up with him in his troubled time and swear to become a blade they can depend on him. • He’s embarrassed but he feels proud at their recognition and it would encourage him greatly.

My drunk son has been on lv. 99 since a few days now. I promised I would send him to training as soon as possible but I couldn’t. I was an idiot and didn’t realize how map 7-4 works for the longest of times and by then I had only 3 Tantous left that were not upgraded to Kiwame. So Fudou had to wait until I got Juzumaru before I could let him go.... I’m so sorry my boy it broke my heart to decline you when you first asked. I’m a bad Saniwa.....

Finally! He came home eventually~
