Curious Cat: WonHui Hanahaki

now, as the research progresses, wonhui start to grow closer. and with that, wonu grows more attached to junnie, seeing him as more than a colleague. with wonu's feelings starting to bloom, junnie begins to cough less, which leads to fewer petals, which leads to... you guessed it, more angst 🤣🤣🤣

bc now junnie worries that wonu will only continue to like him if he brings in the magical petals. if he can't produce anymore, then wonu will return to being just a friend and coworker, which would prompt the return of the flowers, and the cycle keeps going. a vicious cycle that junnie can't escape 😔

things get worse when wonu manages to grow a plant that has similar properties as junnie's petals. it doesn't work as well, but it's great progress. wonu did it to lighten junnie's workload, but now junnie sees it as him being unneeded. he grows sicker. to the point, where he has to stay home, request a leave of absence

during that time period, he contemplates the surgery. it seems like the best, especially since wonu already managed to grow that plant, so junnie not producing petals won't hurt their research or the patients needing the medicine. most of all, it'll help with the constant pain and heartache

meanwhile, wonu works hard, but worries over junnie. one day, he decides to go visit him with soup. in the past, junnie gave wonu a spare key in case of emergency, and now wonu uses it when junnie doesn't reply. thinking junnie might be in trouble, he walks in... to find those magical petals everywhere, with junnie passed out and buried under them

(while wonu is starting to develop feelings, it wasn't enough to stop the process of the disease, especially when junnie inadvertently made it worse all by himself)

wonu is distraught as he rushes over, understanding dawning over the real origin of the flowers, and whom junnie actually loves (idk, maybe junnie had said things in passing before, but wonu was too busy to notice until now, when all the pieces fall into place). wonu cradles junnie into his arms, calling for him to wake up, gently stroking his face until junnie manages to open his eyes, breath shallow and yet his smile is so tender and...loving

"wonwon..."

"junnie, stay with me. i'm sorry i never... i'm sorry it's taken me this long to realize. please, stay with me. give me another chance, i promise, i'll take care of you. i'll give you so much love, you'll suffocate"

junnie barely manages to laugh as he tucks his face against wonu's chest "don't... force yourself"

"i'm not. but you'll have to stay with me to see me prove myself"

thankfully, wonu manages to slow down the process, and they make it to the hospital on time. he stays with junnie the entire stay, slowly watching junnie regain his strength.

by the end of the week, not a single petal is seen. instead, all the nurses and doctors see as they pass by the room is wonhui, holding hands and gazing at each other with enough love to make all the flowers in the world bloom

Curious Cat: Omega!Junnie in Abusive Relationship Falls for Alphawoo at Work

as wonhui say goodbye, reluctantly, the abuser shows up, hackles raised, screaming and yelling at junnie. junnie turns as white as a sheet, all the blood draining from his face as he stands rooted to the spot, fear of all kinds chocking him. he's terrified of what abuser will do to him, but he is even more concerned for wonu, not wanting to involve him into anything, not wanting wonu to get hurt bc of him or to see junnie in such a shameful situation. so junnie walks on shake legs, hands out to try to pacify the abuser. his voice is breaking; he's shaking too much. he's barely gotten the first word out that abuser backhands him, insults of the worst kind raining over his head

junnie topples to the ground, cradling his face. it hurts so much, but he's more in shock. abuser has never hit his face (or anywhere that could leave visible bruises). while junnie's mind spins, wonu's already moving

wonu grabs the other alpha by the collar and punches him so hard, a tooth gets rattled. his nose bleeds profusely. screaming, the abuser stumbles back, hands covering his face. more nastiness spills from his mouth as he glares at wonu and junnie. junnie cowers, whimpering. wonu steps in front of him, barring his view of his abuser

the abuser glares some more, but he can tell that he can't take on wonu. so sending more insults junnie's way, he ambles away. once he's sure that the guy is gone, wonu turns to junnie and shushes him, bringing him into his arms and letting junnie finally break. he lets junnie cry until he's let it all out, never moving away, arms protectively wrapped around him, a hand petting his hair. after that, junnie sways, exhausted. wonu picks him up and takes him to his car, whispering to him about how junnie needs to rest and eat something, and they're going to wonu's place if junnie is ok with it. junnie nods, hands tightening around his neck

"ok. let's get you home, junnie"

"home," junnie whispers. despite everything, butterflies flutter in his stomach and warmth washes over him as he nuzzles closer to wonu's neck, inhaling the comforting scent. his omega whispers very faintly in his head: "alpha... we found him"

Curious Cat: ABO WonHui’s Friend Date Get Interrupted

it'll take something drastic, like, a classmate or coworker asking junnie out for things to be set in motion. wonu spends the entire evening livid, pacing a trench in his living room floor, blinking back the rage and possessiveness curling hotly in his body, worry gnawing at him for having let junnie be out with some other alpha. and it's during that grueling hour or so that he realizes... OH. i'm in love with junnie...

meanwhile, junnie's out on his date, and he's not having a very good time 😅 when he agreed, he imagined it to be like his dates with wonu, but now that he's here with his coworker/classmate, it just feels wrong. HE feels kinda sick, actually, whenever his date does anything romantic. and he feels really bad bc the guy is really nice! by the end of the not so great evening, when the guy holds his hand, junnie reacts so violently, they both jump in shock. and that is the moment when junnie has his revelation 🤣 OH. i'm in already in love with wonu, that's why my body and mind are rejecting my coworker/classmate to this extent...

almost in sync (bc they're svt 🤣) wonhui message each other with "I HAVE SOMETHING IMPORTANT TO SAY" wonu calls him, panicked, thinking something happened, but junnie just blurts out "my omega rejected my date bc i'm already in love with you" and wonu nearly drops his phone lololol. fortunately, he doesn't and quickly says, "i'm in love with you, too. tell me where you are right now" and after they figure out the halfway point, they meet up and HUGS & KISSES FLY EVERYWHERE~

P.S: svt give them a REALLY hard time bc they were too dumb to figure it out sooner 🤣🤣🤣

Curious Cat: Tied to You Afterstory

now if something were to happen to wonu, it's true that junnie wouldn't be able to do anything 😔 since he is a ghost, but at least he could be there with him, instead of stuck in the apartment, worrying himself to death (ha! sorry...)

as for your last question: it depends on how wonu dies

if it's from old age, then junnie would be expected it, sitting by wonu's bed and holding his hand. of course he'll be crying, but they both know they'll see each other again in just a few more seconds. so after wonu draws his last breath, junnie will sob as he lowers his head to wonu's hand, squeezing it, still feeling the warmth. just as soon, he'll hear wonu's voice from behind, calling him "junnie? kitten." turning around, vision blurry, he sees wonu, young and strong again, waiting for him with open arms and a loving smile. junnie laughs wetly, letting wonu's corporal hand down gently then rushes over to ghost!woo. wonu hugs him tightly and kisses his temple as junnie burrows into the embrace

if it's from an accident, then junnie would be beside himself, frantic and overwhelmed as he stares at wonu's body. he barely pays attention to the rescue team (or doctors) as they try to save wonu. all he can do is stand there, stunned, tears overflowing without any signs of stopping. and when he hears the heart monitor beep and sees the flat line, he'll just crumple to ground. "wonu..." he whispers. it's not until he feels a hand on his shoulder and a soft, "kitten, it's ok" that he jolts and whips around to see wonu. he's smiling faintly. "i'm sorry for scaring you--" before wonu can even finish, junnie jumps into his arms and squeezes tight. "you're here, you're here, you're here..." he keeps on repeating, and wonu nods, holding him tighter. "i'm here, and i'm never leaving you"

either way, they end up haunting the apartment together. well, wonu does the scaring in order to feed them lol. oh, and since they're only tethered to themselves, they can leave whenever they want and scare whomever they feel like it in order to get food. so now they can travel the world and live (??? lol) happily ever after for eternity~

Curious Cat: HumanWoo & Omega Junnie

but that only makes wonu work harder. as long as he has junnie's love, he'll face anything

junnie has long ago given yeongsu the slip. he is not interested, and his pack is not so desperate that they'll force him to mate with someone he doesn't love. not only is that cruel, it is super dangerous bc junnie's omega has already imprinted on wonu. if separated, it could kill junnie. (if yeongsu is from the neighboring pack, their chief is understanding, as he does not want to bring an unwilling omega and have him die in his land, either). but that only drives yeongsu into MORE insanity

so... KIDNAPPING! mwuahahahahah (i guess he took a page out of peter han's book lol). bc wonu isn't an alpha, wonhui can't have a bonding/claiming mark. so even though junnie has imprinted, he is technically unmated. yeongsu plans on forcing a bite on him, forcibly binding junnie to him. junnie fights him the whole way, but he can't do much against an alpha and his goons. and he also can't fight too much bc... he's pregnant. womp womp womp...

yeongsu is ENRAGED!!! the only reason he can't force an abortion is bc junnie would die too (the whole imprinting thing. werewolf logistics. just go with it lol). so he hides junnie in some creepy place, awaiting for a solution. oh yeah, he can't bite junnie currently, either, bc the mating bite won't take. still, he makes junnie's life a nightmare while in captivity, hoping to break his spirit down enough to make it work >:[

in the meantime, wonu goes kinda feral, even though he is human. bc wonu is AMAZING, he and svt investigate and pick on clues and figure out that someone in the pack was a spy and they helped yeongsu get to junnie. after nearly killing the spy, wonu gets the info and he goes to rescue junnie!

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!! time for wonu to prove himself against yeongsu. even without being an alpha, wonu can still kick his ass. yeongsu plays dirty, though, and wonu is severely injured, but wonu still wins! he doesn't even wait for the others to apprehend an unconscious yeongsu before he goes to where junnie kept prisoner and saves him

junnie is so happy but also terrified bc of all the blood! but everything goes well, and they return together. after everything calms down, they gather around to exchange stories of what happened, and wonu wonders how junnie managed to keep yeongsu from biting him. so junnie takes wonu's hand and places it on his tummy

🥰🥰🥰

wonu becomes part of the pack, obviously, and again more fluff and fun times as wonu adjusts to werewolf life. wonu becomes an honorary alpha lol. he's still human, but considering what he did to rescue junnie, he gets the status anyway. since junnie can't have a real bite, wonu makes sure to mark up his neck thoroughly in some other way 😏

wonhui have a healthy baby boy, and everyone dotes on him

Curious Cat: Adult Store Worker Wonu & Vanilla Boy Junnie

but junnie is CUTE, so wonu finds himself observing him with more interest than the other customers

the first couple times, junnie can't bring himself to buy anything, although he lingers in the aisles looking at almost everything with round eyes that convey both awe and curiosity. wonu almost got caught staring when he nearly burst out laughing at the expressions junnie pulls while looking at the more... extreme toys

eventually, junnie becomes sort of a regular, although, he has yet to buy anything that could be considered "naughty". like, his first purchases were for different kinds of lube, some cat ears and lacy collar. rather "tame" items. after a week or so, junnie FINALLY gathers all his courage and brings to the register a dildo and a set of plugs for beginners. he is as red as tomato, and he refuses to make eye contact with wonu. wonu finds him even MORE adorable and cute. also wonu is intrigued. his guess was right: junnie's new to all of this

as time goes on, junnie continues to come to the shop, buying this and that, some items more "naughty" than others. wonu may or may not spend a good chunk of his shift imagining junnie using the toys on himself. and he totally doesn't image himself using the toys on junnie and doing much more. nope. of course not. that would be unprofessional... (yeah, right, wonu lololol)

ANYWAY. the point is, eventually, SOMEHOW, it ends up with wonhui becoming friends of sorts, and junnie admitting that he has no idea how to use any of that stuff he bought. he knows what they're for, but he's been too scared to use them on himself. he's worn the cat ears a few times but that's bc they're cute and pretty

that turns into wonu becoming his "teacher" 👀😏 and obviously, actual feels develop.

but wait! junnie eventually confesses that he's had a crush on wonu for ages. wonu actually helped him out with something a while ago, and junnie's been trying to find the courage to talk to him, so one day, when he spotted him on the street, he followed him, repeating lines in his head in order to ask wonu to go grab a coffee or something, but then he saw wonu entering the adult shop, and he got so scared lol. but he still wanted to talk to him, so he came in, and well, yeah lol.

wonu is very endeared. they end up dating (duh! lol), and junnie gets to try out all the new arrivals 😏

Curious Cat: Junnie Overhearing Wonu

highly odd behavior! since, as we know from junnie's answers on post-it that when upset or bothered by someone, he'll just not talk to them. so now wonu is concerned that something happened

so he kinda ends up cornering junnie (kabedon??? 🤣🤣🤣 junnie's inner shoujo manga protagonist is squealing)

needless to say, junnie is FREAKING OUT. both bc wonu is asking him why he's been acting so strangely and bc now it's really obvious that he has a feelings that aren't exactly "friendly" or "platonic" toward wonu (a spaz and hyper junnie may be, but he is aware enough to know that if he only saw wonu as a friend, then the most he'd feel upon exactly overhearing wonu moan his name is embarrassment. he wouldn't have felt excited. moreover, if he's being honest with himself, it felt genuinely nice knowing that wonu thought of him that way. so junnie concluded that while he doesn't know for sure what he feels for wonu, it sure isn't platonic or brotherly...)

wonu isn't allowing junnie to escape without telling him the truth, and after a minute, junnie ends up bursting, unable to keep it in anymore. he confesses to accidentally overhearing wonu and now he doesn't know what it means, bc his feelings are a mess, and it's even worse when he can't even tell if wonu actually likes him or if he only thinks junnie is attractive in a purely objective way and---junnie is just talking a while a minute, and wonu can barely keep up

so....

KISS!

as expected, junnie is stunned into silence, eyes huge as he stares back at wonu, who is also embarrassed, but a bit more sure of himself than junnie. "do you really think i'd call out a member's name in THAT kind of situation just bc he's good looking?"

junnie still can't talk. his brain is going "wonu kissed me" x171717, so he's just gaping at wonu

"did you like it?" wonu asks

"huh? l-like what? you calling my name or the kiss?"

"both"

the word slips out before he can think "yes"

wonu's expression blooms into a bright grin. "guess that answers your confusion, then"

junnie has a moment of realization. "i... like you?"

wonu laughs, stroking his cheek "are you asking me?"

"i'm asking... both of us"

wonu laughs again, and this time junnie grins, too, although shyly "well, i know i like you"

junnie turns bright red, hiding behind his hands. but he steps closer and falls against wonu, snuggling closer when wonu hugs him "i... i like you, too. but i think... i need time to process"

wonu chuckles, squeezing him a little as he nods "take all the time you need. i'm just happy i got you"

junnie nods and pulls his hands away in order to hug wonu. "me, too"

and that is how wonhui slowly transition from friends to lovers. baby steps~

i hope this was satisfactory lol. it was either this, or junnie internalizing the whole thing and pretending it never happened, but that would lead to a dead, and we can’t have that lol. wonhui gotta get together (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و

Curious Cat: SVT reacting to WonHui

T8, extremely fond as he gazes as them. he'll give them a lot of wise advice, but overall, it's filled with love. he'll most likely joke around and ask if wonu is sure about taking on junnie for life, but it's gentle teasing, and wonu doesn't hesitate to step up and accept

MG, pretty similar to HS, but probably less intense vibration lol. i feel like, MG might actually get emotional bc his hyungs finally got together. they found each other, found happiness and a future in each other. he'll be really happy and smother them in hugs

DK, the happy pill! haha. you know he'll be full of love for them. idk, he might even cry lol as he congratulates them and wishes them all the best

SK, oh he'll tease them. he'll tease them GOOD 🤣 he'll be the one least surprised by the announcement. despite all the teasing, though, you know he'll give them all the love and support, bc he's the sweetest. god, he'll be so proud of them, too! for coming out to the band, for willing to go through it together, for finally taking that step

VN nothing but support. VN might be the one member who's surprised by the announcement, only bc he might have thought they were already together. or like, it was a given that they were together and no one said anything lol.

DN, idk why but i have this mental image of him just going "AWWWWW, HYUNG!!!!!" 🤣 he'll also be full of pride. while he gives wonu congrats as his dongsaeng, he'll pat junnie as if he's the hyung seeing his baby brother off 🤣 "i'm so happy for you!"

this might be being a sap (but svt are also saps, so i think my imagination is valid lol), i think they'll want a group picture after the announcement. i mean, it's a big deal, and svr are all about making and keeping memories together

and the reason i keep saying that svt would have sensed something going on btwn wonhui is bc of their reactions during the anan interviews whenever wonhui were called up together 👀 again, could be the wonhui goggles being on too tight, but the teasing just seemed a little too intentional, especially the way they laughed at wonhui 👀

Curious Cat: Describing WonHui Friendship to Non-Shippers

they're the sort of friendship that you cherish like a soft blanket on a chilly day, or a glass of ice cold lemonade in the summer. it's simple, but less is more. they are the sort of friends who can spend an entire day sitting in a room saying NOTHING and yet still feel comfortable and relaxed. the kind of friendship that doesn't tire you out, but instead the other person's presence brings you comfort and support, makes you feel safe.

they're also very weird together lol, but it makes them click. WW is very FOND, even when JN gets into his antics. most of the time, he'll indulge him, but will also gently reign him back from being too much. JN is always ready to pull WW into his shenanigans, and 95% of the time, WW goes along.

the thing that sets wonhui apart from the other jun friendships for me is how accepting WW is of JN just the way he is. svt LOVE and ADORE JN, but they are also always ready to hype him up and nudges him forward, helping him expand his comfort zone, and whenever he does, they get so dang HAPPY (i'm emotional T_T). but WW... he doesn't push JN (of course he hypes him up & wants him to be better more & more, duh), but it's... different. prime ex: the WonHuiSoon VLIVE. WW wanted it to be Wonhui only but he knew that they won't be able to provide enough talking, so he pulled HS in instead of forcing JN to talk more. WW is very indulgent when it comes to JN (offering to let JN play their games with a handicap during the 96z VLIVE), and it's so precious T_T.

idk if i managed to describe the wonhui friendship accurately 😅 it's difficult to put everything into words. you'd need to watch them interact to really get it. wonhui is more action than words. look at their little moments together, when they think no one is watching them. oh! and also CAT BOYS!!! 🤣

my go-to wonhui interaction??? it changes every time 🤣 currently, the one swimming in my head are the moments when JN reads/says something and turns to WW for approval, and WW gives him the little nod 🥺

aaaaah! i'm so glad you liked the fic! junnie is the cutest ghost, and of course, wonu is the best~

THOY modern setting cont.

(continued from curious cat)

-belinda is the only one who has the upper hand on wonu. her motives are the same, and wonsoon relationship is relatively unchanged. except that instead of a curse, belinda poisoned wonu. she's a very smart chemist/pharmacist, so she knows her stuff. as such, wonu is slowly dying. she has the antidote of course, but she won't give it to him. their dealings involve her giving him tiny doses of antidote, but sometimes, it's more poison, and wonu has no way of knowing which one it is. belinda wants him alive, but suffering. the poison mainly hits his heart (*wink wink*) she says that she'll stop if wonu is willing to sacrifice himself for his "true love" the test would entail her giving out 2 cups: one filled with water, one with poison. if wonu willingly drinks the poisoned cup, then she'll give him the antidote. but it's a mind game: for all he knows, both cups could be poisoned, or she lies about which one is which. (her plan is to ofc lie: assuming that wonu really does bring his true love, then he will drink from the "poisoned" cup, but it's actually the antidote. the true love will drink the "water" but it's actually poisoned. her revenge is to see wonu's reaction when he sees his true love die, and he will have to live his entire life with that guilt)

-(this part is a bit of a stretch but pls bear with me lol. pseudo-science FTW!) wonu doesn’t want to play belinda’s games, so he does his own drug research. he basically uses junnie as a guinea pig. throughout the year, he feeds junnie a certain drug that’s supposed to turn jun’s gene markers into ones that match wonu’s (kinda like when you get your blood tested to see if you’re a match for organ donations and such). and his plan is to basically… take jun’s heart to replace his own 😅

-bc wonu isn’t an actual monster, he eases the guilt that giving junnie the time of his life (like in the OG) and seduces him until junnie is willing to give him his heart by his own volition

-instead of jun’s love acting like a shield, in this version wonhui come to realize that jun’s body has some sort of immunity against belinda’s poison. one day, she sends over the vials of mixed poison + antidote for wonu. jun doesn’t know, so he accidentally drinks from them. instead of nearly DYING, he only gets sick and throws up. after that, he becomes wonu’s “shield” lol in a way. whenever belinda sends over her vials, jun would test them out on himself and only give wonu the antidote vial

-once wonu finally accepts that he’s in love with jun, things progress like in the OG

-jun eventually figures things out and he wants to save wonu instead of just living as prisoners. he finds out that the reason wonu doesn’t just attack belinda isn’t just bc he’s affected by her poison, but bc he’s afraid that it would destroy her lab and with it, all the ingredients for the antidote. so junsol devise a plan: they will sneak into belinda’s HQ and steal the antidote. since jun is basically genetically similar to wonu (AND he has immunity), he will test the drugs on himself before taking it back to wonu

-unfortunately, in the midst of the mission, junsol get caught. jun barely manages to push VN out of the way before jun gets taken away. VN calls for wonu

-belinda finds the situation VERY interesting, so now she’s gonna have some fun by injecting a bunch of drugs into jun’s system and see what happens. she gets a kick out of knowing it’ll most likely kill wonu to know his beloved is in her hands

-once he hears about it, wonu doesn’t even think about the antidote. he marches in with his men and basically blows up half of belinda’s HQ. during the shake up, jun manages to escape. Junsol reunite and the two go on to find the antidote (even though junnie is kinda loopy from all the drugs in his body). they find her notes, saying the antidote she kept sending to wonu in small dosage is actually only supposed to temper his symptoms. it’s not the cure. only she knows how to create it

-meanwhile, wonu and belinda have their confrontation, and wonu eventually kills her before she can hurt junsol (like in the OG). with her dead, though, there’s no way of knowing what the cure is composed of. still, wonu’s team gather all the ingredients they can salvage and return to home base

-wonhui remain partly poisoned, but wonu works hard to find the right formula for the cure. junnie remains at his side, testing them for him (wonu eventually figures out a cure, years later, and wonhui are both saved)

Curious Cat: describing SVT personalities

J: kind and selfless to a fault, willing to sacrifice himself if it means letting the ppl he cares about flourish. he's very shy, yet at the same time, very easily excitable. he's a child at heart, but he'll only open up to ppl he is closed to. he clings to his members, seeking affection, playing pranks on them as a way to show his affection toward them. childish & clingy, but incredibly intelligent and clever. he's faced a lot of hardships, but the fact that he always holds a positive attitude is amazing. he's not greedy nor takes things for granted, he knows how to appreciate what he has, but constantly aims to ameliorate himself. he forces himself to be confident bc it helps him believe in himself in order to keep going. he's very humble about himself, but will throw a parade for his members. non-huihuis often see him as a weirdo, but i see it as him finally being comfortable enough to show us his lovable and eccentric quirks. overall, junnie is an adorable and sweet kid, who loves his members and triggers people's motherly instincts 😆 (god, i love him so much)

HS: spazzy but intense. we all know how he gets when he's excited and having fun lol. he's among the moodmakers, the one always ready to cheer you on and offer to help you. he is very kind and generous, and yes, spazzy lol. on the flip side, when it comes time to work, he is INTENSE. he's hard on himself AND his members. he knows when to stop goofing and get serious. he may be a little clueless when it comes to most things, but he's far from dumb. super passionate and determined.

WW: the hot nerd jk 😂 idk how it's possible for someone to be such a perfect blend of: confidence, intelligence, kindness, and playfulness. (not to say that the others are shallow FAR FROM IT), but wonu is just so deep? in everything he does, he puts in so much thought, carefully choosing his words and actions. he's the cool kid that gets cooler as you spend time with him. he tends to be on the quieter side (when not having fun with the rest of them), but he knows how to take charge and be assertive when he needs to. the way he cares for his members isn't obvious as some others, but it's there, subtle yet significant. something else i really appreciate from him is the amount of thoughtfulness he puts into something he knows is important--not necessarily for himself, but for others. like how he took the time to learn flower language bc fans gave him flowers, or how he continuously wore the bracelet that jun's mom gave 96z. and his determination and sheer willpower. god, that clip from HTR. he was ready to collapse, yet didn't allow himself to. the fact he was able to push forward and finish the show speaks volumes of his sense of responsibility and determination. *sigh* jeon wonu, you are the perfect man

WZ: tough marshmallow lol. bc he's strict, but also super soft and sweet! haha. if WW comes across as closed off at first sight, then WZ is basically a hermit lol. he's very shy, but he's grown to be confident and proud of what he's accomplished. of course there are still fears and worries, but he's by no means hesitant or indecisive when it comes to what he wants from his music. passionate and serious, but still sweet and caring. a man of few words, but many melodies and poems~

T8: very goal-orientated and ambitious. a realistic, but still able to dream and create beautiful art pieces that require imagination. a romantic. kind and sweet, but not overtly emotional. down to earth and practical. (the same can be said for wonhoon too but) not someone to condone BS lol. protective of his members. won't hesitate to snap back if there is injustice or unfairness. despite the serious attitude, a real loving kid.

MG: mr. perfect, with a slice of clumsiness jk 😂 a soft boy. the kind of friend you can count on. reliable and pleasant, friendly, outgoing. can get huffy at times, but it never lasts long. emotional. he just has A LOT of feels all the time about a lot of things. despite being pretty much perfect, he still strives to better himself, never letting his achievements get to his head. his clumsiness isn't limited to breaking/dropping things. some of the things he says sometimes does come across as a little tactless, but it's never with bad intentions. he's an all around GOOD BOY. very soft and gentle.

DK: the kindest soul~ most ppl see him as a little ditzy, and he does tend to be clueless and silly, but he has such a big heart. and a very good moodmaker! it's not for nothing that he's our sunshine! hahah. but he's so hardworking, too. and also super emotional. if MG channels his emotions through speeches and writing, then DK just lets his emotions flow out haha. it's raw and honest. not one to pretend or put on airs. what you see is what you get. an honest and kind boy :D

SK: sassy lol. he is such a delight tbh. one of the brightest spots in the universe. not only is he smart, he quick on his feet and can turn any situation around. sure, he nags and sasses his members, but he loves them so much??? also king at reading the mood in a room. king of entertainment. king of moodmakers. he can be loud and confident and funny and lead an entire show. but on the other hand, he is very sensitive and ALSO emotional. yes, he cries a lot lol, but he's also more likely to lash out when he's mad (which is actually hilarious to see ngl). among svt, he probably takes care of their image as idols the most lol.

VN: (anyone who comes to me with "VN stoner" comments will get smacked). he is a sweet and caring kid, mischievous at times, but doesn't have a bad bone in his entire body. yes, he's spacey, but he is true to himself and what he wants. he doesn't bend for trends or anybody's opinion, and i honestly find that admirable. even more so than josh, he is very mellow. he is much more of the listening type, but afterward, he will talk and give you his honest opinions. he doesn't mince words. very honest and true. also great supporter, even when he doesn't quite understand lol. while he seems pretty mature, the fact that he's still much a baby when it comes to everyday life is really cute.

DN: a very mature and independent young man. in a way, i think he's quite similar to Hao, with how he is very ambitious and strives to do/learn more and more, to hone in his skills. very passionate, too. he is very responsible and capable of taking the lead, which he does when it comes to dancing (only second to HS). he acts like a hyung lol (and you can see it pretty clearly in the way he and jun interact). i think he has an easier time being the maknae nowadays lol. a reliable young man full of passion!

oh, man. this is a huge essay 😅 i'm sorry it's so long! and i'm probably forgetting a bunch of details for each member, so pls don't get mad at me 🙏😭 these are just my own personal thoughts about each of them, even if they're lacking. all in all, we are very lucky to have 13 wonderful, kind, and talented young men.

Curious Cat: Advice for High School Freshman

5.) don't freak out about college just yet. i moved to CA as a 7th grader, and i had NO CLUE what to do to even go to college, so i felt like a fish out of water 90% of the time. LUCKILY (if your school does its job right), you guys will be led along the way. you will have meetings with counselors, workshops, and maybe even pep rallies! if you're really concerned about college prep (like i was), i'd advise looking if there's an AVID class offered at your school. the entire point of the class is to help kids get to college: everything from homework help, to SAT/ACT prep to how to sign up, filing out FAFSA forms, looking for scholarships, and eventually, college apps. you don’t NEED the class, but it’s a great resource. (they even have their own scholarships!)

6.) ask for help when you need it. whether it’s homework or from bullies or even when you’re put in a seat at the back of the class and you can’t see. speak up. i know it can be scary, but it’s worth it.

7.) ONE IMPORTANT THING: ARRIVE EARLY. idk how your school works, but all through 4 yrs, my school was always chaotic on the first day of class bc of schedules. idk what the front office does, but there’s always some kind of change to your schedule, so you always had to line up and get the most updated version. hence, GET THERE EARLY. you’ll beat the lines and be able to find your classroom while everyone else is running around.

i think that’s all i can think of... the prospect of freshman year was terrifying for me, but after a couple weeks getting used to things, i was able to mellow out lol. just remember that you’re not the only one scared and nervous. changes are, everyone else is too hahahah. so really, don’t worry too much. relax, take a deep breath, and you’ll be fine. the teachers and counselors are there to help, so go to them when you’re in a tough spot. if they’re the reason for your troubles, tell your friends and your family. the more people know, the better it is.

i don’t want to come across as pigheaded or unwilling to discuss these couples and stories, bc i do! it’s always great to hear various views and opinions. but i also wanted to give my 2 cent on the matter. just bc THOY Wonu seemed flirty and carefree doesn’t mean he’s not harboring turmoil as well. i’m ecstatic that you feel so much for POY/POYWoo! bc honestly, the man needs all the love and support he can. just please... don’t undermine THOY Woo’s struggles.

as for the original topic of this discussion, yes, i suppose POY so far seems more PG in terms of the love. POYWoo didn’t have anyone slipping him a lust spell though *coughSujincough* so that might be a factor in the different wonhuis too. i THINK what you’re trying to get at is: while THOY WonHui were able to fall in love “easily” and recognize it as love (only to then struggle with the consequences afterward), POY WonHui are having a hard time FALLING to begin with, bc they both had been repressed and stunted emotionally throughout their lives, so their journey has more ups and downs. in which case, i agree. ALL wonhui couples in these chaptered fics encounter first love with each other, but each has a very distinct flavor (at least in my head).

ENOUGH RAMBLING omj... i’m really sorry. i didn’t mean to write out a whole essay on this ajshkakjf. ANYWAY. bottom line is: yes, POY WonHui are growing into their feelings and they are very soft so far.

Thank you for being willing to read this word vomit, first of all, and also for sharing your views with me! i know things and ideas don’t always get across, and that creates misunderstandings -_- and i hope i don’t cause any either 😅 Thank you for loving these characters, and it’s completely normal to have favorites (it’s just hard for me, when all i want is to love them equally lololol). pls don’t let me be the reason you stop sharing your thoughts with me! i do like to hear them... i just need to work harder on not getting too deep into it 😩 not everyone agrees, and certainly not everyone will have the same interpretation. i know that, and i need to remind myself of it more often. i’m sorry, anon, for being like this... 😔

Curious Cat: Planning out Complex Plots

Another perk of outlining is that it allows you to develop complex plot points ahead of time. And you sort of have to work backwards:

-Belinda/Main villain has Wonu’s heart—how did he lose in the first place?

—> belinda took it as punishment—punishment for what?

—> for causing the death of her brother—how so?

—> Wonu used belinda’s brother to his advantage and when the truth came out, soonyoung… passed away

-Why would Wonwoo do that to an innocent person? —motivation?

—> belinda is a very powerful witch with all sorts of knowledge. Wonwoo was seeking for something specific

—> immortality and youth elixir—but why???

—> Wonwoo’s family: death of brother, then mother. Father searched for a cure, but he was killed. Wonwoo wants to continue his research

You get the idea lol. Take the end product, and ask yourself HOW you can come to that, and then plan it out in your outlines.

Depending on the type of story, sometimes your plot will influence your characters’ actions, and other times, your characters will influence how the plot goes. So you really need to pay attention to the story you want to tell in order to see which path fits best. Nothing is set in stone, and I want to encourage you to make changes while you’re still in the planning stage. And even later on, when you start writing. Something might have sounded great in the outline, but when you wrote it out, it sounded weird or it didn’t fit (or the characters took you on a whole different route). In which case, you’ll need to do the necessary modifications. If your final product isn’t similar to your outline, it’s ok. Just make sure it’s to your liking and you have a good grip on where you want the story to end and how.

Hmm… that’s all I can think of now in terms of planning. Obviously every writer is different, so this is by no means some of rubric. It’s just something that’s worked for ever since I started writing, so I hope it’ll help you too! If you have a hard time coming up with ways to weave complex plot lines, I would encourage you to read stories in the same genre. Reading has literally made me into the writer I am today. One of the tips I’ve heard from professional authors is that if you want to write, you need to read. You want to write for Young Adults, you need to read Young Adult books. My writing professor calls it an organic process, where you take something, churn it around your mind, and create something that’s completely yours. I guess it’d be like creating music: you want to write a pop song, you like pop, so you listen to a bunch of pop artists. Then you write something in the same style, but it becomes very unique to you bc it’s you and your own thoughts and feelings. Does that make sense? Lol. I’m sorry, it’s a lot of rambling… 😅

At any rate… I hope this giant essay was helpful! Pls tell me if things don’t make sense (or I made a typo so significant, it causes the sentence to be incomprehensible lol)

so what i'm trying to say is... take a deep breath and jump. it's terrifying, and the results might be disastrous, but it'll be worth it. think about it: either she and you patch things up and rectify the misunderstanding, or you get rid of a person who wasn’t worth your time in the first place. it’s corny and cliche, but there’s a lot of people on twitter, REALLY NICE people, in fact that you can befriend and chat with. Me, for example! lol (i do mean it. if you don’t mind random and sometimes awkward comments/msg, i’m your go-to-girl! :D drop by my DM any time!)

moreover, if it makes you feel any better, i don’t have a bunch of people either. the number of good peeps i chat with on the regular can be counted on one hand. good people exist out there, anon, you just gotta keep trekking along and you’ll meet them! ^_^

i hope all of this rambling has helped you somewhat! navigating life and relationships, regardless of types, is really difficult. but you can do it! and again, if anything, i’m here! chin up, anon (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و

Curious Cat: Junnie in a Skirt

Please excuse my terrible writing...

“Junnie, please come out of the room.”

“But it’s so embarrassing…”

Minghao sighs. “Jun, you promised.”

The gentle reminder is met with silence from the other side of the door.

Mingyu knocks again, puppy eyes at the ready as he whines, “Moon Junnieeee. We really need you. Our grade depends on this portfolio.”

This time, Junhui’s whine is that of acceptance. “Okay… But you have to promise not to laugh at me.”

“Who do you take us for?” Minghao retorts. “Now, come on. We haven’t got all day. I think Wonwoo’s died waiting.”

The older rolls his eyes. “Alive and kicking, thank you.”

There’s some shuffling from inside the room, before Junhui’s tiny voice speaks out. “Okay.”

And then the knob turns slowly. Wonwoo pauses his game and glances up toward the bedroom door, mildly curious about what he’d find. Being a cosplay enthusiast, the number of outfits that would embarrass Junhui is nearly abysmal. If this had been some sort of penalty game, then Wonwoo would understand the trepidation. But this was for a school assignment, so it couldn’t be grotesque or inappropriate. Plus, he highly doubted Mingyu and Minghao would ever put together an outfit that looked anything but fashionable. So really, why is Junhui so shy?

The first thing Wonwoo sees is lilac hair. Long lilac hair. He blinks. He’s seen Junhui with purple hair before, obviously. And the length isn’t anything surprising, either, considering Junhui had shoulder-length raven locks when they’d first met. Did they put him in a wig? Whatever logic his brain is attempting to explain gets tossed out the window the second Junhui takes a full step forward.

Wonwoo’s jaw drops and his eyes bulge.

Junhui stands in the middle of the room, nervously tugging at the sleeves of the oversized pastel pink sweater. His fingers barely peek out from the sweater paws. The top is loosely tucked into the waistband of a powder blue pleated skirt, which flares out lightly around his hips. The material sways a little every time Junhui shifts his weight, the hem brushing over the gentle roundness of his thighs. Wonwoo swallows as his eyes rack over the smooth and golden skin, only to nearly choke on his breath when he takes in the white thigh-high socks hugging Junhui’s legs, the lace frills stopping a couple inches away from the hem of the skirt.

A quiet but very familiar whine echoes through the room and snaps Wonwoo out of his stupefaction. He flickers his eyes upward right in time to see Junhui slap his sweater paws over his flushed cheeks. “This is so embarrassing! And you guys are making it worse by not saying anything!”

“Because you look great, Moon Junnie!” Mingyu reassures right away, grin wide enough to flash those canines. “I knew you’d be the perfect model for the project.”

“Yep!” Minghao agrees with a nod and satisfied smile.

As Mingyu guides Junhui over to the area with the lights and backdrop, Wonwoo follows Junhui’s lithe figure intently, mouth quickly drying up and heart thudding against his ribcage every time Junhui takes a step. Heat coils into knots and rests low in this belly. He grips a corner of the decorative couch pillow with one hand, while he adjusts his pants with the other.

His movement seems to attract attention, as Junhui looks over at him, head cocked. Doe eyes lined with eyeliner stare at him in concern, ripe and full lip bitten for a second before the boy asks, “Wonwon, are you feeling okay?”

No, I’m not. Pretty sure I’m about to burst—“I’m great, kitten,” he smiles in what he hopes is a reassuring manner. “You look really cute.”

“Oh.” Pink immediately spread across Junhui’s cheeks as he giggles and hides behind his hands again. “Thanks, Wonwon.”

The camera shutter clicks again, followed by Mingyu’s cooing. Junhui makes a face at him, but they both laugh as Minghao fixes the angle of a prop and motions for them to continue.
