There's quite a differance in the taste of the Water based Coffer when made in the Filter Maker to the Cafetiere,useing the same home Ground Coffee. The big 8-cup/1Lt Bodum French Press we bought around Twenty Year ago,on Holiday on the Yorkshire East Coast,went a bit in land down the Humber into Hull City for one day & in Hulls Debenhams in there sale it was £15, with £10 off,its Gold on Brass & untill 2 week ago the Glass part had lasted all that 20 year. The replacement Glass was £11 to £15 in stores & on line,but we have a good kitchen store in Ridings Centre,Allsorts, & they sold me one for Sick Squid £6,but made by LeXpress,just same & as good as Bodums. Our Kitchen Sideboard top houses our 3 Cafetieres (French-Press) & 4 Tea Pots,the steel Tea Pot & little Green ones get used most.Also the Sodastream,the Black one I use,the Vintage white & yellow one & its tiny bottles I got off ebay,its an origanl one of the type used in the 70s TV adds.And that Red & Gray fabric thing in front of our black Sodastream is to keep coffee warm in big french press. We have a plane Green,a Gingham Check Green & a Pastle Peach colours Table Cloths,all are Round,but we thought we could do we another green one. Have you any Idea how RARE Round Green Table Cloths are.I found a Rectangular one in Dunhelm,other wise,ALL other stores in City Centre & on our 3 retail parks only had Neutral Colours unless you wanted one a those horrid Plastic Vinal "wipe clerk" things.We eventually found this one with Geese on it in the John Lewis Store in Leeds.
