Overthinking :
( a poem written by me : Tyra Thomopoulos )
How many holes should I fall down
To lose all sight of sanity
Images which lay not amongst my near thoughts, but covered in dust and dirt and buried in the depths of my mind.
I sing a little song to ease the numbness that has consumed my body,
Breeding for the grounds of fear,
Yet the battle lies further, in my heart
And my thoughts groan in anger for this confusion is what haunts me and time is what forsakes me for I have lost all knowledge of what the concept of time is when I can no longer not think.
My body shakes because it is weak with disappointment from all the games my mind has played.
I feel the need to apologise to myself
but the image is distorted with resentment
and I can not even begin to explain the incipiency of the thought
That has led me, dragged me down these deep, hollow holes.
