Her Love in the Force: The unbearable lightness of love (All characters) (Shorts)

Author's note: I enjoyed writing it so much that I couldn't stop myself from posting it, even if I officially return only in the middle of February. Hope this little piece of love will make you a little bit happier. Take care of you and the precious people around you. Sending love to you all. ❤️

MC moved for the nth time from one side to another. For a second, she stopped breathing to hear the breaths of the person near her. A grin of relief appeared on her face when the man near her exhaled. Suddenly, she felt her cheeks getting hotter, and a big smile appeared on her face. MC knew what position would help her fall asleep. Though, before getting close to the person near her, she felt the urge to find the answers to the question that popped in her mind a moment ago.

Jin Namba

Before MC could say anything, she felt how she was dragged closer to her sleeping husband. When she turned to look at him, she could see how his eyes were still shut. She muffled a soft chuckle and started to call him by his name. When she got no answer, MC whispered against his chest.

"Sometimes, I have no idea what to do with all my love for you. It is so much and strong that I know that I won't ever know how to show it to you. You lived for longer than me, and I sometimes wonder if you found the answer to this problem, if you know how to let me know what is buried deep inside you. Wait for me till I find the answer, and believe me that I have no idea how to make you understand what a pleasurable pain my love for you causes to my fragile heart."

MC nuzzled against him and hugged him tighter. Suddenly, her hug was returned with more strength.

"I also don't know how to show you till what extent I adore you. So please, be patient with me," Jin whispered in her hair.

Hideki Ishigami

"What are you thinking about?" Hideki asked before MC could start talking. Unknown to him, he scared away the romantic question she was about to ask. MC's cheeks colored in red, and she giggled uncontrollably. In a second, she rolled on top of him.

"Did I wake you up?" she asked with her ear against his chest.

"No. I can't sleep if you're not against me," Hideki whispered while resting his hand on her waist.

That was the moment when the love MC held for him won, and the words she wanted to say reappeared on her lips.

"Do you ever think that you love someone so much that you have to show it to them, and this feeling stops you from doing anything else, but you also know that the feelings you have for that person are so strong that you won't ever be able to show them entirely, but can't hide them either? So you live with a pleasurable pain in your chest and an unlimited stock of warmness for them?"

For a moment, Ishigami fell silent. Though, the next moment, MC's entire body was shaken by the hearty laugh that escaped the man's lips.

"Of course, I know. I still have no idea how I survived the day we married. I was so happy and in love that it hurt."

MC smiled against his neck. She felt his husband's lips pressed against the top of her head. For the rest of the night, they both had peaceful expressions on their faces.

Hyogo Kaga

He wasn't asleep. When MC stopped breathing, he heard it. He also heard how her breaths changed the moment she smiled. Though, it made him only frown. He wanted to feel her against his chest. What made her move so much that night?

"Hyogo," he heard a whisper. After he didn't answer, she tried again, but louder. In response, he only groaned. "Do you ever feel like you love someone so much that you can't contain your love and have no idea how to show it, so you just want to hug them as hard as possible and nuzzle your nose in them, to feel them all over you and wait till the pleasurable pain in your chest goes away?"

Before she finished her speech, Kaga was already wide awake. He was jealous. He felt so envious that MC could express what he felt every single day for her, while he couldn't even say "I love you" without cringing. But that was the high time to remind her how important she was for him.

"Yes. Every second of every hour of every day. When you are far away or in the closest proximity."

He fell silent. It was the closest he could get to be honest about his feelings. Again, he could hear the smile in MC's breaths. But this time, Kaga smiled too.

A heavy arm fell on MC's chest. This time Kaga wouldn't let her change her position, not after she woke up the unbearable love he held for her. In a second, her entire body was pressed against his chest. A long kiss that lasted for the entire night fell on her shoulder.

Shusuke Soma

"What is it, my love?" Soma asked when he heard MC's loud breath.

"You know more about love than me. Can I ask you a question?"

Shusuke chuckled. He didn't know more about love than MC. She was the love of his life, and it was for the first time he felt like this. Nonetheless, he wanted to know what was in her mind at that hour. So, he hummed as an answer, waiting for her to start talking.

"How can you express that feeling of love when you are ready to die here and there for the person in front of you? Though, it's not because you will sacrifice your life for them. It's because you want to live for them. You know that all the time in the world combined with all the declarations of love won't be enough to express your feelings. So, you suffer beautifully, trying to show at least the millionth part of your love. Do you know?"

Shusuke took MC's face in his hands and placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

"I have no idea how to show you that you're the most important person in my life," he placed a kiss on her eyelids. "I have no idea how to make you understand that I want to feel every single part of your existence, to be able to understand you better," he kissed her cheeks. "I want to find a way to show every millimeter of you that you are more precious than the entire world," Shusuke captured her lips. After he parted and let her breathe, he finally said the only words that could show her the smallest part of his feeling for her. "I love you."

He was ready to say these words to every single part of her body, again and again, till even her toe could repeat them. But he knew that it wouldn't be possible because the universe's life would be too short to let her know how strong his love for her was.

Takaomi Tsugaru

"Are you thinking about how much do you love me?" Tsugaru asked, grinning.

MC rolled her eyes. He wasn't wrong, but she knew that he was messing with her. Why not tease him too? And she knew how to do it.

"Yes. I sometimes stop functioning because I love you so much that it shows in every single thing I do. You are so important to me that I can't live if I don't remember that I love you more than I will ever be able to show or tell. It keeps me away from doing what I have to do, and all I can hope is that you understand this, in both professional and personal fields."

Tsugaru felt the urge to run away, but the love MC was talking about held him in place. The only thing he could do was to sit on the edge of the bed and take his face in his hands. MC giggle after seeing her boyfriend in such a state. That sound made his heart beat even faster. Little Hare pressed herself against his back, nuzzling her nose.

"You have no idea what you are doing with my poor heart," Tsugaru finally whispered.

"The same thing you're doing with mine."

"No. I love you more."

MC didn't contradict him. She fought so much to achieve this happiness that she didn't want to push it away. So, she hugged him even tighter. Tsugaru's jaw clenched. Closing his eyes, he escaped her hug for a second only to fall on her the next moment. He had no idea what he was doing, but the unconscious 'I love you's whispered against her skin showed a part of his feeling for her.

Seiji Goto

"You're so perfect that I have no idea how to make you understand it. Every time I look at you, my heart grows tenfold. Sometimes I think that I'll explode and won't be able to return to you the feeling you buried inside of me. You make me so happy that I become sad that I can't show it all to you. I don't know a way to make you understand how important you are for me."

MC knew that Seiji was a heavy sleeper. That was the main reason why she said all of this. At the same time, she had no idea what her voice could do to him. It was the same effect his look had on her. Her tomorrow-to-be husband was wide awake before her lips parted. She talked so fast and emotionally that he couldn't stop her.

"I intended not to cry tomorrow. Why are you making me cry today? When you walk down the aisle to me, I'll remember what you said today, and I'll be a mess. Subaru won't ever let it go," he mumbled, trying hard to hide his sniffles.

"I love you, Seiji. I love you very, very, very much," MC repeated again and again.

At first, Seiji wanted to stop her. Though with every declaration of love she made to him, his lips were closer to repeating her words. He knew that he had to look fantastic for his soon-to-be wonderful wife. Though, he also knew that all the words in the world wouldn't ever be enough to express his love for her.

Ayumu Shinonome

The dream that made his heart beat faster and reddened his cheeks ended when he heard his name yelled in a whisper. Ayumu sighed, understanding that the person he married in his dream was the same one who woke him up. Of course, he was happy to see his long-term girlfriend well enough to have the energy to talk in the middle of the night. However, it made him remember that he had to show his feelings to marry her, and it wasn't an easily ignored step.

"Do you ever feel that you love someone till it pains your chest? A very painful pain that keeps you motionless. And the only way to get rid of it is to hug the person for whom these feelings are? It's not a bad pain. It makes you happy. But also sad, because you understand that you are too weak to be able to hold and express it, so you hope that the person near you understands it?"

MC had no idea if her boyfriend heard her or was asleep. She just wanted to let him know that it was what she felt for him. She knew that Ayumu loved to hear her expressing her feeling, even if he didn't show it.

"No. I have no idea what you are talking about," Ayumu answered, letting his arm fall on MC. The second one came from underneath her. The next moment, MC was pressed against him in the tightest hug he had ever given her.

'Of course, I know how it feels. Otherwise, why did I buy that damn ring two months ago?' Ayumu said to himself while drowning in her smell. He promised to himself that he would gather his courage sooner. The feelings for her were deeper than the fear and the cringe.

Toru Kurosawa

MC looked at her boyfriend, sleeping soundly. A soft smile appeared on her lips. Toru looked more peaceful than ever. Though, her heart wasn't as calm as him. It beat harder and harder, giving MC no choice but to vocalize her feelings.

"I love you more than I can express. With every smile and laugh you let out, my feelings for you only deepen. I fell so hard that I lost all the fear of being hurt. I don't care what happens to me. All I want is to see that you're happier than ever. I want to be a part of your happiness because you are my happiness. You make me so happy that it hurts. My heart can't take so many feelings. I am afraid it will explode one day. And even if I tell you how much I love you, I know that it's not enough."

Before she could continue her speech, Toru placed his palm against her lips. The next moment, his lips touched his fingers. His other hand caressed her so softly that it made MC shiver.

"I know that I have no right to make you feel like this. I know that I don't deserve the smallest part of your feelings. That is why I don't want to kiss you right now. The lips that let out such words are too pure and precious for me. I don't want you to explode because of your love for me. But let me do it for you. Let me suffer more with every second that pasts because of the love that grows faster than the light."

His lips were trembling. His voice showed how overwhelmed he was. Even his eyes teared.

"Please, let yourself be loved just like you deserved," MC whispered and placed a soft kiss on his lips.

Toru's hands tighten around her. He didn't want to let her go. He was afraid to let her go, even if he didn't think he deserved her. He wanted to merit her. So, he made a silent promise to become the best partner possible. To make her as happy as she deserved to be.

You always had looked at yourself in a negative light, but that began changing when you got with Taehyung. You loved that he wasn’t afraid to show everyone who you were, it was the feedback that you got from it was the downfall for you. You never have been very good with criticism and you wish that you were.

“Baby?” Taehyungs voice asked from behind the door, “why have you been in the bathroom for so long? Is everything okay?” He worriedly asked.

“Y-Yeah! I’m fine, Tae!” Your voice cracked on you and you cursed yourself quietly. Now Taehyung was going to be worried and God knows what he’s going to do when he sees you crying.

“I’m coming in,” he announced, not giving you time to protest before he came barging in. When he saw your teary state, he rushed over to you and kneel down. “Why are you crying, my queen?” He asked you softly, brushing away a tear.

“It’s dumb…” you mumbled.

You told him what was bothering you and the whole time he kept a composed state just for you. Once you were done, he demanded for you to go to bed. While you were asleep, he began eliminating people you mentioned that had disrespected you and you never once realized that they were gone.

You’ve seen Jungkook mad before, but not livid. You don’t even know what happened, honestly. Eisuke - He probably won’t believe you at first, and while it’s not ideal he’d probably make sure Luke carries out a bunch of genetic tests, before he’s actually convinced. In his head, it’s just a plot from yet another woman hoping to seize a fraction of his fortune. It wouldn’t be the first time and he told himself he won’t fall for it this time, no matter how much you cry.

I imagine, this would distress most, much more if you were actually pregnant with hormones raging here and there, all over the place. Eisuke might feel slightly guilty at this, especially once he’s confirmed you’ve spoken the truth. Though at this point, anyone with dignity probably would have walked through the door, and that’s what you did. You might have made a mistake trusting him, but you weren’t about to let him walk all over you. After all you barely know the guy - so your impression of him being a terrible bastard, who couldn’t take responsibility, wasn’t totally out of place.

He’ll feel so guilty over the next few days, but he won’t search for you, at least not at first. It isn’t until the bidders catch wind of this from Luke that they start nagging him about it constantly. (The doctor apologises profusely, but let’s be honest he revealed this intentionally to get Eisuke to react.) Finally Eisuke reaches his breaking point, having had enough of their sly comments and he hunts you down. He’s scared, if he’s honest. He worries about his child’s future, especially considering his childhood wasn’t the most happiest memories of his life. But he realises his actions are wrong and no amount of fear can justify him being a coward. So he pulls himself together and promises to shoulder his responsibility, after apologising most earnestly. Though it’s certainly not love at first sight, gradually your relationship picks up from there in the few months during your pregnancy.

Soryu - If this happened he’d be infuriated, but not with you, with himself. He’d hate himself for acting with such recklessness. I think if he met you in a club, he must have been having a rough day, (and maybe you were as well idk) because otherwise I don’t see Soryu being so wild. He seems pretty stiff and stern most of the time, even though inwardly he’s a real softie. I think during the first few months of your pregnancy, he’d be ever so chivalrous, but his cold stares would completely contradict his gentle touch.

He’d be the type to take good care of you once you’ve tracked him down and explained the weight of the situation - if you were crying, he might just start to panic and melt in your hands - because he’d feel really guilty inwardly. Though you would never know he felt this scared upon meeting you because he’s the epitome of ice. He addresses the situation with such a calm discipline you can’t help but feel at ease and… secure in his arms. It isn’t until he recalls said events later on, once you’ve developed a strong relationship, that you’d be made aware of just how scared he really was. But you’re glad this is the case, after all it makes the journey that much sweeter, you both helped each other overcome this hurdle and now you’re blessed with a beautiful baby boy.

Ota - I think he’d believe you immediately, but wouldn’t act much upon this news. I imagine him coming to check up on you, perhaps you decided you’d both attend appointments with your gynaecologist together, or a single coffee date once a month just to see how things are going. Every time he sees his baby on screen he feels his heart skip a beat, but those emotions for you don’t really manifest until the two weeks leading up to the birth of his child.

After having a fall down the stairs and ending up quite injured and frightened, your fingers just happen to dial his number first. Upon hearing your small and frail voice, he feels something deep within his heart stir and drops everything he’s doing to rush to your side and deliver you to the hospital. Those next few days he stays by your bedside, taking better care of you and constantly cursing himself for not supporting you earlier.

Then when his baby girl (just because I imagine him having a daughter) is born and he holds her for the first time, he feels the ground shake beneath his feet. Or maybe that’s him shaking. He spends every waking, sleeping moment by your side and somewhere along the way he realises his feelings for you run a little deeper than he could have fathomed.
