Jackson West's Boyfriend
Finally found a working link to today's episode and I realised when I was looking at the list, there's the name 'OFC. I. YOUNG'. I'm pretty sure Jack son's last boyfriend was that horse-riding cop called "Isaac Young".
Does this mean that he might come back in a future episode, or did they just put his name for the fun of it? Did Lucy see him while waiting for the test? Did they get some sort of closure in terms of Jackson, or maybe felt like he was there cheering them on?
These are my two cents anyway.
Also, for anyone who says something might happen to the those who scored above Lucy, Isaac scored '9'. I think something could happen to the top 8 and not hurt the horse-riding cop, right?

Chenford Time (5x19 - 5x21)
youtube
Hey everyone. My newest video, Chenford Time, is out. It's been a long time since I've been able to make a video because my last year of university has been pretty hectic. Hopefully, I'll be able to continue making one a month.
I hope you enjoy this video. See you at the next one.

Hi everyone. October's video is inspired by Caleb Hearn's "It's Always Been You" and I'm loving how this looks. I hope you enjoy this video too and thank you for all the support for my previous videos.

Hi everyone... I finally have a video that's posted on time!!!
This one is inspired by Rachel Platten's "Fight Song" and I love this song because it reminds me to keep fighting and never give up. It also makes me hope I can be as strong and brave as Lucy is, hence this video. I tried to put as many of Lucy's fight scenes in here but I ran out of time and might have forgotten some. If there's any you remember and I left it out, please tell me so I can use those scenes in a future one.
Also a little personal life announcement... I passed my driver's test!!!
This was meant to be a little pick me up and motivator just in case I didn't pass (because I failed the first time), but I passed and now it can be a message from my younger self to my future self in case I feel like giving up, because I can do anything... except maybe drive over 40 km/h because that's scary.
Anyway, sorry this is so wordy but I hope you enjoy this video. And to anyone who's taking their driving test soon, good luck. You can do it!

A "Chenford Eras" video for Chenford Month. Meant to post this sooner (like 19th July sooner) but as usual... I got distracted.
This video was intended to have a song from the 70s or 80s in honour of our Chenford captains' birthdays, but I couldn't find the right one, so I might have made a mash up of throwback songs from the 60s to the 90s (because 1989 counts as 90s right?).
Songs used are Sound of Silence by Disturbed (I know Simon and Garfunkel are the original singers but I preferred this version), Sometimes When We Touch by Dan Hill, Hello by Lionel Richie, and Right Here Waiting by Richard Marx.
I hope you enjoy this video. See you in the next one.

Goodnight
"I'm right here." He whispers, his arms moving around her waist, pulling her to him. "I'm right here, and I'm holding onto you. I won't let you go."
He inches closer to her, pressing his lips to her ear. "Breathe." He takes a deep breath in, counting to 10, before letting it out. "You'll be ok. I love you."
Her hands cover his, rubbing soothing circles into them as she follows his lead, taking a deep breath. "I love you too. I'm ok."
It's not the first time they've found themselves in this position, nor will it be their last. Some days, their job takes too much of a mental toll on them and they're reminded of their mortality, how easy it is to lose what they have, and that they should treasure and be grateful for every single moment together.
It is on these days that they hold each other a little tighter, comfort each other as they cry in the darkness of their room and kiss the tears away. It's hard having to go through this day in and day out, but they know the minute they stop feeling these emotions, stop feeling for the people they serve, it is time to hang up their dress blues.
So they persevere, using their love to keep the other strong. Because love isn't a weakness, but it is the most powerful thing in the universe.
And they will continue to show their love for each other even in the littlest ways: featherlight kisses the moment they wake up, brief hugs bordering on PDA when they bump into each other at the station, three gentle squeezes of a hand bearing the promise of care and safety on the job...
But they don't just show their love through touches. Some days, they need a little reassurance: a call through the radio to know the other is ok; while others they need their space: sitting across the room as they finish their paperwork just so they know they're not alone.
There are the rare days though, when they need a little more love. So while Tim has a stash of trinkets for those rainy days, Lucy has a series of voice recordings ready to send to his phone whenever he needs a little pick me up.
The love they share is eternal, everlasting, and all-telling. They know from a look when the other is down and are always ready to show their love, whether it is in the form of physical touch, words of affirmation, quality time, gifts or acts of service.
And sometimes, when these five known love languages aren't enough, they know they always have their own...
Prank wars and bets on trivia nights, treasure hunts and paintball battles, which may leave them more sore than before, are always sure to remind them that someone knows them more than anyone else and they love them no matter what.
So it is with this love in their hearts that they fall asleep each night... Wrapped in each other's arms, soft words of comfort and sweet nothings are shared, until they are lulled into a peaceful slumber of love and happiness.
"Goodnight."

I Love You, But No.
"Tim." Lucy pleads, her grip on his bicep surprisingly strong as she steers him to the parking lot. "C'mon. Let's go see the fireworks at Long Beach."
"No." He holds firm, having half a mind to pick her up then and there and carry her all the way back into the house if she refused to give up. "It'll be a cesspool of deviants and miscreants just waiting for the right opportunity to cause havoc. I don't know about you, but I would rather start my new year in peace and comfort, not tracking down a dozen criminals through a crowd of thousands."
"But it's our first New Years together." Her lips curl in a pout, eyes growing wide to resemble that of Kojo's.
"I love you, Lucy, but no-"
Her steps are suddenly at a halt. For a second, the world stops moving, and she holds her breath. She blinks once... Twice...
"Lucy?" He stops beside her, eyeing her frozen frame. "What's wrong? Are you ok?"
"What... What did you just say?" She loosens her grip, taking slow steps back onto the grass.
"What did I say?" He takes careful steps towards her.
"Whoa." His arms wind around her waist before she can trip, pulling her close into his side as he replays their conversation. He hadn't said much except...
"I love you, Lucy, but no."

You Left Them Like That?
The blinding lights of the outside world does nothing to ease the pounding in her head. If anything, it magnifies it tenfold.
But she does her best to keep up the pace with the others, clutching her vest lined with the Tim Bradford special as they make their way back to their shops.
She should feel relieved that this part of the day is over, that even though the war against evil is far from over, they've won the battle of the day and survived. But all she feels is off-kilter. Her steps are heavy and unsteady, her body listing to the side, and for a second she's almost sure the world has gone off it's axis.
"It doesn't add up." Nolan's voice bobs in and out of focus, the words disappearing with the wind as waves of clarity and coherence clash with confusion. "I mean... motivation... how... dozen mercenaries?"
She's struggling to follow the conversation, strains to hear what exactly Grey has to say in response to Nolan, when suddenly the ground beneath her disappears, and a hazy glance of Tim's worried gaze is the last thing she sees before it all turns quiet.

Not Our Bed. It's Mine.
I might regret writing this because I think I traumatised myself, but I hope you'll enjoy reading this.
-----
1: That scene in 4x01: Life and Death
"A hug... I..." Her voice trembles with each word, the soft whispers and words left unsaid filling the otherwise silent night.
She still can't wrap her head around it, that her best friend in the entire world is just... gone, taken away from her by the single push of a trigger. It's all too common in their line of work and yet, unimaginable.
They were in a safe place, in their happy little bubble, celebrating life and love. How could a celebration turn into a funeral just like that?
It's just...
"Yeah." It takes him less than a second to wrap his arms around her, to tuck her head beneath his chin, and hold her as close as he physically could.
After today, after knowing the lengths La Fiera would go to to enact her revenge, he's thankful she's still by his side, because he knows she could've easily turned her attention to the one responsible for putting her in jail, and he'd be caressing her lifeless body once again instead.
He's fearful for Angela and her unborn child, and he grieves for the bright soul they lost in the young officer, but for the moment, he's grateful he can be her source of comfort, and someone she can depend on.
But time moves all too fast and he finds himself needing to let her go.
She feels the chill the second she leaves the comfort of his arms, but the look he gives her fills her with a warmth she's never felt before. In his gaze, she finds a longing, a deep sense of yearning and a calmness she is yet to understand.
Their gaze is charged with intensity and words which don't need to be said. He knows her as well as she knows him, and both know that being alone is the last thing they want tonight.
He gently places his hands on her shoulders as he turns her around, leading her over to his room. There's only one bed, and while neither of them had been planning to share it, things never really go to plan.
He ushers her over to the left, tucking her beneath the blankets before moving to the right. It's the least worn part of the bed and he knows he'll feel the effects of the stiffer mattress in the morning, but he'd gladly give anything up just so she'd feel safe and comfortable.
"Good night." She whispers, willing her eyes to slip shut so she could fall into the land of slumber where she can dream of him. But the second she does, all she remembers is how she held him in her arms the night that Chris died, and how she wishes he were here toHe hears the soft sobs before the bed begins to shake, and all his reservations disappear. He pulls her into him, covering her entire body with his as he gently brushes her hair aside.
He presses his skin to her face, drying all her tears away as he whispers soft sweet nothings into her ear. It's not much in the way of comfort, but it's the only thing he can do... Just hold her until everything fades away.
Slowly but surely, they fall asleep, and when they wake to Wesley's call, they move about as if nothing has happened.

Chenford Cam Watchers
"You got the tape?"
Lopez turned to Harper, wiggling said cassette in hand. "You got the popcorn?"
"Fresh out of the pot and absolutely drowning in butter." Nyla smiles, handing the snack to Angela before popping the tape into the player. "Thank God Nolan still has this dinosaur and that guy from IA owes you."
"Wouldn't want to miss this gem of a week." Angela smirks. "Now let's-"
"You know this is unsanctioned use of police resources, right?" The pair of detectives jolt at the thunder in their senior's voice, shrugging as they slowly turn around.
"Well, if you'd like to maintain your side of plausible deniability, you could leave right now." Angela gives Grey a knowing look, before turning back to the TV and pressing 'play'.
"Fine, I'm in." Perching against the armrest, he reaches for the bowl, only to have his hand slapped away. "Right, only the pregnant women get popcorn."
"Damn straight. Now, shush."
Read the whole fic on FanFiction.Net while waiting for AO3 to be up and running once again.

Hey everyone. An extremely late video for the month of June, but at least it's out. This one's inspired by recent efforts to get Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets, so I had to use one of my favourite Taylor Swift songs: Back To December.
This videos more of ChrisChen, but I hope you'll enjoy watching it anyway. See you at the next video.
P.s.: Currently looking for Love Songs from the 70s to 80s eras for next month's vid, so I'm open to suggestions. Thank you.

Not sure if it’s been said before but...
I accidentally found the episode Luke Moran is from.
They brought back another season 1 character for the season 5 finale and he’s from 1x11: Redwood. He was arrested by Angela Lopez and Jackson West when they went around the apartment building confiscating banners and found his mother tied up to her wheelchair.
Does this mean Lopez and by extension, her family, is the target? He could also be working with Elijah who would have motive against their family too, and he’d have the money for the Russian mercenaries...
Just some late night / early morning theories...

Breath
Her vision begins to tunnel, dark spots closing in on her as she her arms fall limply down her sides. She wants to fight, but she can't. The man before her is too strong and she's been deprived of oxygen for far too long.
She heaves as she tries to breathe, tries with one last burst of energy to pry his arms off her neck…
And then he's gone.
The air is cool and sweet. It fills her burning lungs with a sensation eerily familiar and she shudders as she falls to the side, hands groping around for anything to ground her, anything to keep her tethered to the earth.
Her lungs still burn as she wraps her hands around the cool metal, her breaths still come in short sharp pants. She knows she should try to take deep breaths, to slow down her breathing because anything too quick doesn't actually reach her circulation where it is the most vital.
But when every breath is one more than what you thought would be your last, you can never be too greedy for the next.
