Updated Max Silhouette
Decided to remake my Max silhouette, since the old one became outdated AND I started hating the art style in it. With a completely new outfit, updated lore and art style, I decided to remake it. For those who have no idea what I’m talking about, go here.

OUTFITS. I. LOVE. OUTFITS!
If you can’t tell by the title, I LOVE designing outfits for my sweet boy and my oc’s. This is like the third time I go on an outfit designing streak. I guess you could call me an outfit maniac, lol. I haven’t posted the other outfits because frankly I just forgot and then later it felt awkward to post it after a week, so I decided not to post. Let me know if you want me to post them!
The first image is a third recreation of the main outfit he wears. Yeah, you heard me right, THIRD. The outfit he wore before didn’t really match with the image I had in my head, so I decided to redesign it, again. And to be fair, I really like it! I’ve also got versions where his curse isn’t extended all the way to his face.
sigh And again you realise there’s a shift in the art style. I’m STILL trying to figure out my art style. Every drawing of mine is an experiment at this point lmao. Get used to seeing random art style shifts, as I’m still exploring!

Amulet OC!
I was considering not posting and completely dropping this blog because most of the time I’m never proud of my drawings and I often think “who the heck cares about my drawings?”, but nevertheless I caved in and posted.
This is Marcus (22M). A pretty edgy man. He doesn’t display emotions too often but when he does, he’s usually neutral or angry. Mostly angry. He’s got some anger issues. In my AU, Max has siblings! And Marcus is his older brother by two years.
He’s a pretty intimidating guy, he’s got that “resting bitch face” you know, other than that he’s pretty chill (for the most part). But he gets angered easily. His sense of humour is.. kinda dark. He likes edgy and dark jokes. Sometimes he suffers from sleep paralysis or insomnia.
At this point you might think of him as a sad man. But he’s actually a sweet guy when he’s with the family. Enjoys spending time with them.
His elemental possession is Absorption. He can copy/absorb the abilities and DNA of other species and can even absorb materials such as steel. Altho it seems awesome to possess such an element, it comes with a bunch of risks. Using too much energy can result in a monstrous transformation where he becomes a chaotic mix of all the species he’s absorbed. Hence why he needs to be careful using it.
Just like Max, he uses a scythe, except his scythe has a much edgier design, with chains, complicated details and a colour palette of different purples, greys and black.
He can get pretty violent when it comes to fighting. Compare his fighting style with Max’s and he comes off as more aggressive and violent. Max mostly uses his scythe and electric moves, whilst Marcus uses his fists, kicks and his scythe. He also uses his absorption abilities to transform into said creature so it’s a “fair fight”.
Here are some other types of clothes he wears. I also sometimes switch between him having facial hair or not having facial hair.

I’m back! It’s been a while. This is probably gonna be my last drawing of Max in 2023.
I’ve been trying to shape my art style and that’s why it looks a little different, I personally really like it! Night continue to draw this way.

Losing control
A friend criticised me and said my take on Max is too Mary Sue material, so I decided to give him a disadvantage that affects his amulet and normal life. You could think of it as my take on how a stonekeeper loses control. Instead of growing into a huge monster/phoenix, you get half engulfed in the element the amulet possesses, also it hurts a lot, a solid 8 on the pain scale.
It’s a curse. On the surface, it looks like a regular scar/mark. It stretches out on the arm or any limb and can resemble the element you possess, in Max’s case it looks like a thunderbolt because he possesses the power of electricity. If you apply too much power to the amulet, it can cause you to lose control and half of your body gets engulfed in a painful “cloud” of the amulets power. It can affects your daily life and mental state if you’re a sensitive boi.
Side note: I didn’t realise Max’s eyes were actually blue in the books until recently, but I like him having brown eyes more so I’m keeping it that way lmao.

Happy (late) Halloween!
I know I’m *a bit* late, but I’ve been a bit busy so I haven’t been able to draw, then I got hit with a mini art block, so that was fun. Also Halloween isn’t celebrated where I’m from so it didn’t really feel like a big day lmao. Also also I was working on a different Max drawing until I realised Halloween was coming up, so stay tuned for that one!
Drew my favourite boi as a Frankenstein looking guy and Emily as a vampire! She’s probably my 2nd fav character lol.

Thundering Fury
Kind of dissatisfied with the hands, they don’t look adult enough if you know what I mean. Otherwise I’m pretty happy with how it turned out!
I’ve twisted my Max’s personality and life so much, he’s basically become an oc of mine lmao. Also, I’m not good at keeping a consistent art style (you’ve probably noticed lmao)

Character silhouette #1
I decided to make a whole character silhouette of Max in my AU. This is my first time making one of these and honestly it was a struggle trying to figure out how the outfit works and looks like at different angles, I hope I managed to get it to make sense even tho the back view of his hair looks a bit off, but overall I’m really happy how it turned out.

My first post!
After MONTHS of seeing others post and share their stuff and opinions about amulet, I’ve decided to finally step out of my comfort zone and post myself!
You can probably tell by the image that Max is my favourite character. I don’t know why I love him so much but I’ve been making my own AU and drawing him along with my oc’s for about 3 years now.
This is my second take on the canon vs fanart. Second because I noticed I didn’t quite like the first one I made, so I decided to redo it. (No I will not post it.)
Feel free to ask me about my AU! Tho it is very different from Amulet.
