I swear Sam and that damn camera, he just can’t put it down. “You’ll want these for later, remember?” Yeah maybe if you take a decent photo of me. One thing that I don’t are for granted though is how much Sam and Dean watch out for me. I’m like the most annoying little sister they never asked for, it’s quite amusing it me. Dean starts bickering with Sam about something completely out of the blue, certain rock bands and how their guitarist is so amazing and Sam’s just sitting there shaking his head. I figured I would write a little bit of something for now, we’re doing all the way from Salem, Oregon down to Corpus Christi, Texas. Talk about a long drive. Sam and Dean have mentioned a few things about their dad and how they grew up, their dad was always worried about them and would call and check in on them. I haven’t heard from my parents in over ten years talk about some serious issues there. I guess mom and dad only really cared about each other, I was an accident anyway. If they could see me now they wouldn’t recognize me. I have gotten so tough they wouldn’t know what hit them. Here’s more “memorable photo’s”, Thanks Sam.

Skipping a few days of Journaling has not been good to me, but hunting has definitely consumed me right now. When working with the Winchesters you have to keep up and I guess that means tucking away the journal for a few days. Sam has been non-stop taking pictures of everything, the trees, Dean, and even me. Dean always tells him to put the camera down, Sam always says they should have these photos for when they are old to look back on. These two have become like older brothers to me, I didn’t even know they knew Bobby either. Their dad would drop them off when he would go out on a hunt and be back a few days later. These past few days have gone radio silence as Dean would put it, nothing has happened not even a demon to exercise. Quite a shame I heard all this talk about the Winchesters and how great they at hunting, I really want to see how they exercise a demon. Bobby never taught me how to do that, he was the one who handled that mainly. I just would say some smart sarcastic remark to them, and pour holy water on them. Growing up the way I did wasn’t the ideal way, but it has certainly given me more of a back bone and thicker skin which everyone needs to have. Oh here’s another photo that Sam thought was a great idea to take of me.

We were in New Orleans, Sam found a camera a few hunts ago when we were trying to hunt down a soul eater, “hey, Amber let me take your picture.” “What? No, I look so gross” well he took the picture anyway and I actually look badass in it. It was so damn hot out and humid. We just finished off the soul eater, we were non-stop running and of course the impala doesn’t have A/C, but honestly it’s a nice looking car for its age so it makes up for it. All of a sudden a click sound happens, “Seriously! Sam stop it.” I shout at him. “Barbie, cool it nothing wrong with show off the grossness from a successful hunt.” Dean tells me. “Whatever, I better not look gross because I feel gross, you guys stink.” I tell both of them. They actually smelled themselves so nasty. “She’s not wrong we need to shower.” Sam’s telling Dean. We pull up to a motel, two separate rooms of course because I am a girl so nice to have a room to myself. The best thing about staying at random hotels and motels is you don’t have to clean up after yourself a maid comes in and does it all for you. Complete relaxation, although Sam and Dean created this secret knock for me to know its them, three knocks and then I know its them. They live off of three max of five hours of sleep, good lord what happened to sleeping in?

It’s been a few weeks now that I have been on the road with Sam and Dean, we have fought off more werewolves and now vamps. My dad never told me that before he took off on me when I was nine. Sam and Dean still don’t know about what happened to my family and I’m guessing they can tell I don’t want to talk about it. Mom walked out for whatever reason when I was five a day before my birthday and dad followed after her when I was nine, then along comes Bobby Singer. Dad dropped me off telling me he’d be back in a week, a week went by and he didn’t come. So I learned about hunting monsters and demons from Bobby, he’s like a cranky old grandpa that everyone needs. Bobby gave me this journal to write in saying “you’ll need it when it comes to you getting angry, trust me.” I have always trusted Bobby he hasn’t let me down yet. The boys haven’t let me down yet either, I’m starting to feel like I’m apart of their family now. Dean always tells me “threes a party! Don’t worry bout it Barbie.” Yeah he also gave me that nickname, yay. I never not once did I play with a Barbie doll. They always creeped me out.

The story first starts out with her hiding from the alpha werewolf, she knows he’s been on her trail for days trying to turn her. All of a sudden gun shots are fired and she hears two male voices. Hiding behind a tree she peaks her head over to look and the two men stare in her direction. One is tall with dark brown hair mid length, the other is a little bit shorter and has light brown hair. “Hey, you!” The tab one yells at Amber. She takes off running, both men are running behind her and catching up fast. Amber gets tackled to the ground, pushing and shoving trying to get away from them. The tall one has her pinned against a tree, “Hey, calm down were only here to help. My name is Sam, what’s yours?” “help? That’s what you call help by tackling me?” Amber replies while trying to catch her breath.
“You know, we could of left you for Mr. Wolfy over there. I wouldn’t mind a thank you.” “and your name is?” “Dean, any other questions miss sass?” “No, my name is amber. I had been hunting that alpha for weeks now.” “Wait you’re a hunter?” dean asks with complete shock on his face. “How old are you like sixteen?” “Actually, I’m twenty. How old are you like fifty?” Mimicking Deans tone of voice. “Do you have any family we can take you too?” Sam asks. “No, I hunt alone.” “Oh great another Hannah Montana situation. Listen little girl this kind of stuff is meant for the big kids not small ones like you.” Dean snaps back at Amber. Sam grabs Dean and takes him aside their arguing about taking Amber in for her safety. “Come on Dean, she’s way too young to be on her own doing this.” Sam says hopeful that dean will put his ego aside and help Amber out. “Are you kidding me? She’s not our problem right now we have bigger fish to fry than a lost girl who won’t even say thank you for saving her life.” “Um I could of handled it myself, thank you very much.” Amber raising her voice just enough so Dean and Sam can hear her. Sam is giving Dean a pleading look. “Alright fine, but I’m not happy about this.” Dean agrees. “Hey, little Bo peep you’ll ride with us for safety until further notice.” “Until further notice?” Amber asking in a very irritated voice. “Look you aren’t safe out here all by yourself, so just trust me on this.” Dean is giving her a stern look, not giving her any other option.
“Fine, but make sure you get my name right oldie locks or don’t say it at all.” Amber snaps back at Dean. “Did she just call me old? I’m not old Sam, I am not old.” “Yeah, lets just get back to the car.” Sam starts to walk off towards Amber. Dean follows muttering underneath his breath about the comment Amber had just made. They finally arrive up to the car. “Wow, nice car. 1967 Chevy Impala right?” Amber asks Dean “You know your cars? I guess this won’t be so bad.” Dean says with a satisfied look on his face. Dean gets in the driver side, Sam is sitting in the passenger seat with Amber sitting in back. “Alright, where to next?” Amber asks “home, that’s where we are going.” Dean replies back, a giant rev of the engine and they are off on the road.
