i kinda feel you on rp being Really Taxing but still having the itch to do something. (stares at my own drafts lol.)

if i had more energy i'd offer one-liners with a... crossover character with a sort of similar role that canonically can go to other universes (gotta love anime logic) but you know. rp is hard.

more importantly, i was thinking of picking up haseo someday when i can, but i'm not sure if there's enough of a community to try to make a blog when i do have energy? or would it be easier to look for 1x1s? should i stick to fanfic? 🤔

well! certainly going at least—con stuff has been a nice break from the grind but the fatigue is real. but to answer your question: yes and no.

majority of the community have been my friends for years back when it was easier to hop on and write because it was literally an after school activity for us. so, a fantastic writing community Exists but it's safe to say, much like myself, it's very very low activity. i would personally enjoy writing with a haseo again ( bc, you know. they are foils! ) if i have the energy to peel off my pokemulti and come here. i'm always logged in on this account on the hell app so i'm pretty easy to reach.

i would say though... if you wanted something more frequent than the next solar eclipse, 1×1's might be possible, but fanfics would currently be the easiest. the current state of an rpc here is essentially "lurking but Incredibly Tired".

#anon #asks #ooc.#it's a wild thing to think about because it's always been hard to keep people around since .hack is... very dense as a series.#but the core group of people ive always known to stick around have basically grown up together and now we're all full time doing something.#but it's pretty much safe to say for .hack the rpc has been varying levels of dead since like...2017 or so.#gulr did not really keep people around that were new to the series-and there was the shipping fiasco with the switch port that didn't help #picking up a .hack muse is an exercise in patience and testing how laidback you are WHEEZES....
