I find it hard to enjoy obikaka anymore as a person who’s favorite character is Obito because people usually write/draw him as the big abusive dom or he’s usually the one comforting Kakashi in one way or another – and Kakashi is made to look and act smaller than he actually is. Must it always be super heteronormative with them?
I hate ship wars. I’m sorry, I just needed to express this before I lose my mind, though.

It's insane to me that people will make Obito abuse Kakashi and act like it's in character
Like yes he's supposed to be a villain but he's not bad to the point where'd he'd abuse Kakashi sexually, physically, or/and emotionally...
I've seen people strip Kakashi of his personality just to make him Obitos fuck toy or toy in general
Like when Kakashi does shit like that they usually tag it dark Hatake Kakashi or ooc etc but when Obito does stuff like that it isn't tagged as ooc or dark Uchiha Obito
I love me some possessive Obito but people bring it to the point where he sexually abuses Kakashi
I would rather have Kakashi reduced to a pervert than have his personality reduced to nothing....
In fact Obito would be appalled by sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. They would contribute to his view that the world is garbage.
When I first got into kkob/obkk it didn't bother me cuz I was just getting into it and was just eating everything I could find... After a while I figured out what I prefer reading etc...
Also if u think Rin never cared about Obito u are delusional <3
Also the way people will make Rin obsessesed with Kakashi is insane to me like ??? People genuinely believe she only cared about Kakashi...
The way people will give canon female characters foul personalities just so they don't get in the way of their precious ship is nuts...
Like if u need a foul female character just make one up on the spot or something slap a name and a face on them and call it a day there's no need to take a canon female character and give them a foul personality for the sake of your ship
Like why give them a foul personality when they could be supportive
Like I genuinely believe that Rin would be supportive of Kakashi and Obito if they got together
Also people take top/bottom dynamics too seriously sometimes
I remember seeing a while back on Twitter (because of course) that basically said dni if bottom Obito stan or something like that and it's like huh...
Oh yeah and someone this was I think a year or two ago (my memory is foggy) made a whole thread on why Kakashi can't top
And it's like insane to me because it's like not that deep u know
