The finale was short and ended everything with a bang… literally. The fact that this was only the first generation is so crazy. You can also see this was all planned up tot the detail cuz if you rewatch all the teasers and other clues it all makes sense right now. That’s so crazy to me. Like the “find kill the founder” and the test we did that was actually to see if we had the qualities to be Showfall’s “hero”.
Ranboo and Charlie’s acting was also so awesome. And the music and there were so many cool shots! Like the one where they ran away in that corridor and ended up in Charlie’s “room”.
Or the one where Charlie saw the cabin… in his memories he grew up there but now he saw it was all staged… and also, when he died. O M G I screamed so loud my mom actually was so concerned lol. I can’t blame her tho.
The scene where Ranboo bows and Hetch is behind him was so cool! In combination with the lighting and music- hmmm chef’s kiss!
And the las scene where he was begging for his life and all that stuff. Omg I could just cry. It was so stressful. And this is only generation 1 like omg?!?? How will I even survive all generations?!?!
…
On a different note… the new jacket that just released is so awesome I kinda wanna get it but I’m torn between this one and the original grey jacket… I am def gonna buy one of them tomorrow tho!

Sooo… ep 2 was so epic! It wasn’t as scary when I was watching it but now that I think back I’m actually really disturbed. Like, Niki’s death was the most disturbing while I was watching (also her screams in the background she did so greattt!), but if you remove the ‘comedic filter’ Showfall Media put over the other deaths they’re actually way more horrifying to me. Vinny (and ‘the spirit’ slime from ep 1) gets crushed by an anvil, which looked funny but imagine brains just spat on the ground… yuck. Ethan gets brutally crushed. And Austin and Sneeg get too. It’s also scary Ranboo doesn’t react to anything and Sneeg doesn’t either. Ethan was pretty happy (so probably brainwashed) but Austin and Niki weren’t that much.
Thinking back to the moment reality broke trough during Charlie’s “surgery” we realized the slime is actually blood. Which makes ep 1 actually r-really gory and I’m scared eep-. It also makes me think, was Charlie screaming the whole time but no one could hear? Or was he also under the influence of the ‘filter’ too and he really was making jokes and stuff?? (I hope the 2nd one plz the 2nd one T_T)
I actually really can’t handle blood so I’m actually getting nauseous just thinking about it akskdk. They do a really good job making it so gory without actually showing the gore.
Oh that reminds me of that game with the happy pills. We Happy Few. I remember watching a letsplay of Jacksepticeye I think back in the day lol. In that game is a pill that makes you only see happy things but everything is secretly really gory. There it’s (sorta) their own choice tho, whereas in generation loss they’re getting mind controlled by Showfall…
Also, I think whoever controls squiggles is maybe responsible for Sneeg getting caught so fast. He was the only one aware even before the glitches started… and ofc also during them. The others were just confused. The spirit from ep 1 and the puzzler from this ep are also just pawns then.
Anyway, ending with a happier(?) note: OUR HERO IS FREEEE WOOO

Episode 1 of generation loss was so cool! I was literally waiting this whole day until the stream. The music is fire btw, I hope Ranboo releases it.
It was way less scary than I expected but that’s probably to catch us off guard. Ran just said it’s gonna be more goofy but if the distorted parts are gonna be more distorted it could actually be really scary imo
This kinda gave me the same vibes as Wandavision. It seemed like a happy/funny show but turned out to be way more lurid(?).
The glitch parts genuinely gave me chills. I’m not good at making theories but one thing I know for sure: I DONT TRUST SQUIGGLES. He may behave like a chatter (he literally said the same things as me sometimes lol), but at the glitch parts he shows his true colors in my opinion.
He’s a mascot of Showfall Media after all…

Lovejoy’s album Wake Up & It’s Over is officially out!! I’ve been listening it on a loop for awhile now and I’m feeling so hypedd :D. I can’t even pick a fav song though cuz all the songs are so awesome!
Portrait of a Blank Slate just sounds really cool. Especially the last chorus hits different. Maybe it’s cuz of the backing vocals? They’re very subtle but really do make a difference.
Consequences resonates with me on like a personal level lol. Like I make bad decisions all. The. Time. Especially when it comes to my sleeping schedule cuz that’s basically nonexistent wahaha. Also( what a banger instrumental, I really dig it!
Warsaw has this funky guitar I really love and also a taking bit LETSGO!! Wilbur’s talking bits are always so awesome (first on CMWYL and now here!).
I really like the instrumental of Scum too! The intervals with the guitar/drum is really cool. And the ending even gave me goosebumps somehow. Also love that “woohoohoo~” in the background hahah.
CMWYL has an advantage cuz I’ve heard it a million times already, very awesome indeed. “You can call me what you like. As long as you call me” is still my fav line everr. Now that I think about it, maybe that’s why the song is called Call Me What You Like lol.
It’s Golden Hour Somewhere really hits different. It makes me wanna cry, dance and aggressively scream the lyrics at the top of my lungs. I also literally made an “:o” face when I heard him say fuck hahaha.
I’m the kinda person that can’t concentrate on the lyrics when I’m just hearing them so I’ll probably look more closely to that tomorrow (or technically later today). Maybe Will’ll stream and explain them a bit. Who knows!

I have not been excited for something so much in a long time but Call Me What You Like by Lovejoy really did it. I was SO excited and the song is damn good!!!
It’s kinda similar to The Fall in terms of I AM FLOORED FOR THESE SONGS.
Wilbur talking in the bridge also just sounds so cool.
