Tron: Evolution (PS3) Had a Tron night this week. I really wish Tron would have burst out into another big franchise after Legacy, but it seems permanently confined to the uncool bin. As for this game, I played through the first chapter and saw limitless potential brought down by what was likely a strict release date. The combat is fine but repetitive and the movement controls are almost there but fall far short from working when and how you need them to. A huge open world Tron game where you can light cycle your way around a constant techno assault on the senses city and stop corrupted programs and battle in the game grid, (think Arkham Knight, but Tron) would be the best thing to ever hit the planet...also something that will never happen. Keep fighting for the users Tron, and Il keep fighting for you.

Dragon’s Crown - PS3 Dragon’s Crown - PSVita Tiny Barbarian DX - Switch

Picked up both Dragon’s Crowns this week. I finished Muramasa on my Vita a few months ago and have wanted to get more Vanillaware since then. Excited to use that Transfaring!

Also Tiny Barbarian DX dropped this week on Switch and Nicalis always packs their published games full of goodies and wonderful, full color, all one language manuals! I wish that wasn’t such a rare commodity.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Cave Story+ Two new games two weeks in a row. Crash is pretty good, though some things are rubbing me the wrong way. Like the into where a blocky Crash is shown getting 'remade' by the Vicarious Visions machine, but Crash was never that blocky! What are you trying to say Vicarious Visions?! I don't care what anyone says PS1 Crash looks great! Other than that the gameplay within is solid as it ever was, and the newly added time trials are pretty fun too. Il be playing this one through to completion. Cave Story I played for one hour and was pretty impressed. Great design choices and interestingly interactive storytelling with solid action gameplay mechanics. I laughed out loud when the bad guy challenged me to a fight and I had the option to say 'No' and he just says 'Okay.' and walks out the door. Excited to dive deeper into this cave.

Alice: Madness Returns Chino-Robo: Zip Lash Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2X Blinx: The Time Sweeper Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller Well I forgot to post the past 2 weeks. Got a little wrapped up in the E3 hype. So here is a super post! Got Alice 2 weeks ago, mostly because it came with the original as well. Ended up grabbing Chibi-Robo the week after because it seems to be on clearance everywhere at the moment. 8$! Then after the Xbox press conference where they announced backwards compatibility of original Xbox games I got super hype and picked up the 4 Xbox games. I don't really expect Tony Hawk to ever get the compatibility, but fuck it, I'm buying Xbox games now! The first 4 Xbox games Iv ever bought... And Arms! My favorite 4 letter switch game to date!

Disgaea 5 Complete Iv been in the mood for a turn based strategy game lately, so with this Disgaea 5 coming out on Switch I thought it would be a great time to try the series out. Iv never played a Disgaea game before, but always had a vague interest. It's just hard for me commit to time sinks like this easily. I played for one hour and found the characters mildly annoying (at least the princess anyway). The stat system incredibly overwhelming, though mostly easy to understand at a closer inspection. Then once I saw the data center, the place that keeps track of EVERYTHING, I was terrified of the idea of completing this game. This game is tailor made to draw OCD people like me in for hundreds of hours. I mustn't! It's looking pretty tempting though...

Mega Man Battle Network I had bought this game years ago (1 of each in the series as well I believe). A few months ago I decided it was time to play it! So I searched through my GBA box until I found it, and when I picked it up and examined it...it was fake. A FAKER. In MY collection?! I must have been so young and foolish when I originally bought it those few short years ago. I refused to play it. Scowling at the idea of putting my time and effort into counterfeit merchandise. Since then Iv had an eye out at every game store I visited hoping to see it, real, and hopefully for a decent price. That dream came true this week at The Vault in downtown York PA. Now just need to find time to try it out.

The Wonderful 101

I grew up playing Viewtiful Joe and Okami and loving Clover for giving me those beauties. As for Platinum I believe I have played only Metal Gear Rising, but the action in that was top notch! (Even if the story wassnt…)

I’m excited to pop this in and see how much it’s like Pikmin!

Commando Final Fantasy VII

Picked up Commando on NES this week just to pick something up to add to the collection.

Then later in the week I found a non-Greatest Hits version of Final Fantasy VII for 15$ and couldn’t resist! I still haven’t finished this game…(a sin I know.)

Mario Kart 8 Delux Puyo Puyo Tetris Gorillaz-Humanz GO-RIL-LAZ! Iv been a Gorillaz fan since the first album came out in 2001. Loved every album since! I think this one will take some getting used to to get a feel for it (Like Plastic Beach did for me) but I'm already enjoying it. Not as much diversity as I like in a Gorillaz album though. Also picked up Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and streamed it all Saturday night with my friends. I haven really played a Mario Kart since DS, but it's still really awesome! And Puyo Puyo Tetris! Or as I have known it: Doctor Robotnic's Mean Beans! I played that game a lot as a kid too. A nostalgic week. Fun fact: Noodle is my age!

E.T.: Interplanetary Mission

This week I went out to Megatronics and picked up this…thing. E.T. On Atari has a reputation that is legendary in the gaming community and I wanted to see how a sequel 20 years after that fact would hold up. It doesn’t. Not fun. Bad game. I suppose I’m being a bit Brutal on a game that’s meant for children…but Iv and played better childrens games then this!

This week I went to see The Room in theaters for the first time with my best pals. It was an awesome experience! Tommy Wiseau was there signing and introducing the movie. Lined up first for Q and A and got the hot scoop: Best friends comes out “maybe September”!

Also picked up South Park Season 8 which clears me up to Season 17 or something.

And: Yooka-Laylee! If you like Banjo-Kazooie then… Yooka-Laylee is Banjo-Kazooie.

Samurai Jack Season 1 Beastie Boys - Ill Communication

This week while randomly scrolling through Amazon I picked up these two additions. I liked Samurai Jack a lot as a kid and honestly can’t figure out why it took me this long to grab the sets. Oh well, I’m on my way now.

Also got the next B Boy album I needed. I’m listening to them in the order they came out in. Half way through! Loving everything I hear so far.

Hopefully il have a game to talk about next week, but I kinda already have more movies and TV in the mail. :0

Has-Been Heroes Picked this up at GameStop as it is a GameStop exclusive. I try to to support them as much as possible due to them throwing away cases to perfectly good games people trade in for extra shelf space. (I don't buy game without cases unless i need too for anything that came out in an actual plastic case) However Gametrust is something GameStop is doing right! (Mostly!) physical games need to be preserved for their business model to thrive. Still I wish they would have given that extra effort to have a double sided sleeve... this first Switch game I have without one. Speaking of which, I have 5 out of 6 of them!

The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ I played a bunch of this game when it first came out on PC a few years back. It's still awesome heart pounding action gambling gameplay! It's gonna be a really bitch to complete.

2017-03-18 16.17 Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Bought this so Emily could play the Zelda game I grow up with without having to deal the bullshit. 12 Picto Box slots! Kids are so spoiled these days. I had to deal with 3! Also last week I plum forgot to add: Horizon Zero Dawn. So there it is. AND...Apparently (I thought I had...) forgot to post when got my: Switch! Pro Controller The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild 1-2-Switch Super Bomberman R Casshan! 3 weeks in 1 with apologies.

This week I didn't pick up anything! So I went out to Retro Addicts and quickly found something cheap to add to the collection. Tetris 2! The sequel to the best selling Game Boy game of all time. But is it better? Only one way to find out... Drop 4$ and buy it of course!

Tearaway Dawn of Mana Hyrule Warriors Hyrule Warriors Legends Parasite Eve Super Mario Bros. All Stars Went waay over board this week! I took a trip over to Megatronics (weird local shop with used DVDs and games sandwiched between swords and car stereos) and unexpectedly found some good deals! Super Mario All Stars for 20$ Dawn of Mana for 10$ And Parasite Eve for 20$ But here's their cool part: when I opened it up to inspect it after he yanked it out of the case for me I noticed it didn't have the disk of a demos and no manual so I said I would pass...then he said he would give it to me for 12$ and I said I was sold. Pretty happy about the exchange! I also set out to Best Buy this week to get Hyrule Warriors Legends. I took it home and played it and got really really into it after about an hour...so then I went and tracked down a copy of the WiiU original at GameStop so I could play 2P with friends... where I also picked to Tearaway...And got talked into the damn discount card again! Damn you GameStooop! (I only don't like them because they throw away game cases in favor of shelf space) So yea, Iv gotta try and take it easy next week...Switch is in 2 weeks after all.
