quietly updating my Ko-fi goal again, this time for furniture reasons. explanation + costs below the break to be tidy

at the moment, my dressers and storage are solid wood, which would be great, if I could open them. instead, my clean laundry is in hampers on the floor so I can get to my clothes, but as a result it's a mess and hard to find things. It would be really nice to change this.

Cost breakdown:

bedroom storage: 1 large dresser unit for bulkier items and two smaller drawer units for smaller items + miscellaneous storage ($900)

food storage: 1 cupboard unit ($200)

delivery and assembly: I can't get an estimate on this until I get the order number ($???)

stretch goal: mini fridge + freezer (I live with family who do not respect shared food storage and I don't have the money to keep doing this.)

The public-facing TLDR I'm willing to give is that while I am living with family, this does not mean I have any assistance whatsoever. I enjoy having some degree of privacy, so I won't be going into detail about how that works out in practice, but I have been affirmed that it Sucks Pretty Bad from an outside perspective, and getting home care or moving to assisted living is a nightmare of wait times, so I've got to make the best of it while I'm here. Unfortunately for the opinion of the Canadian medical system, I do in fact want to live (I'd consider myself enthusiastic about the idea, even.) so I am trying to get better at the whole asking for help when it's needed thing.

I still have a chunk of commission queue to get through - thank you for your patience, and I'm sorry it's taken so long - and then I'd like to do some bases for subscribers to make up for the silence before reopening comms, but I do still have plans to reopen them so long as my ability to physically do so holds out.
