[Video description: Chewie, a golden brown rabbit, exploring in the snow. He comes out from a shaded spot and squints in the sun. He sniffs plant pots, but they're all empty. He finds a branch and briefly chews it before hopping back to me. /end]
Chewie is doing his best to find the good in this situation! He eventually found leaves and made me crawl behind chairs to retrieve him, but he mostly stayed dry in the litter box.
There's more snow coming tonight so I can't wait to see what I wake up to 馃槵

Meet Kya!
She's a calico lionhead bunny, born on May 23rd 2020 and we adopted her (along with Yue) on January 14th (2024)!
Kya definitely takes after her namesake (Kya from Legend of Korra), she is sassy, sneaky at times, but also gentle <3 The bunny shelter we got her from informed us that she used to be overweight, and although she is back to a healthy weight, the rolls stayed :'D

Meet Yue!
She's named after Yue from Avatar; The Last Airbender, aka the moon. Because she truly looks like the moon! She was born on October 9th 2020 and we adopted her (along with Kya) on January 14th (2024)!
Yue is, like her namesake, very loving and calm, though she will not let the others walk over her. She adores being pet, especially on her head, and will loaf and snooze in place for hours on end :'D (She's truly a princess.)
Sometimes she tilts her head a bit, which worried us in the beginning, but that's just because of her poor eyesight; that's when she's 'scanning'. It's honestly quite adorable.

I recently had surgery, and at the time I came home, I had both my cat and one of my grandma's cats staying with me.
- Within hours of surgery, I wake up from a nap to my cat gently sniffing at my incisions with great alarm.
- I was not allowed to shower the first day after surgery, and the cats, seeing that The Large Cat is not observing its cleaning ritual, decided I must be gravely disabled and compensated by licking all the exposed skin on my arms, face, and legs.
- I currently have to sleep with a pillow over my abdomen because my cat insists on climbing on top of me and covering my incisions with her body while I sleep (which is very sweet but not exactly comfortable without the pillow). She also lays across me facing my bedroom door, presumably on guard for attackers who may try to harm me while I'm sleeping and injured.
