A parody of the 11th doctor if he came back as a female, which really begs the question why not have a female "Doctor"? Sarah Jane is fine and all but it would be cool to have women in the lead role. I also used some of the artistic stylings based on the web comic "The Trenches" for inspiration. This was created for fun.

Legend of Korra

Although I like this animated series that is based off the Avatar mythology, the level of technology in the show makes me uneasy. 

From what I remember in the original Avatar animation the best level of technology I saw was fire nation ships and hot air balloons with the occasional weapon of sorts. Fast forward to the time period in the new show and we see cars, planes, mines, robots and many general steam punk devices. 

It would have only been a matter of time for this civilization to develop these technologies with the combined efforts of the different nations and benders, but even when Aang was still alive in his what 30's / 40's the "Republic City" already has cars and sky scrapers. 

I really do enjoy the show but seeing a jump in infrastructure and technology for such a small time frame is a bit odd.
