I’m feeling lonely and lost. Social distancing is so unhealthy for people who find comfort in the presence of people. I feel cold and numb and I try to distract myself using art

I’m being quarantined for 14 days. Waiting for my coronavirus test results. To pass the time, I’ve been drawing stuff like this. 

Some things might look beautiful at a glance, but when you look deeply into them all you see is misery.

I might have been putting up a front lately, lying about how happy I am. I am not. I ended something that is really important to me because it’s been causing both parties a lot of pain and there’s just a lot of questions I myself don’t know how to answer.

I just want to go back to spring. Not this spring, but a faraway spring. A happy spring when I was so young and oblivious, but I need to woman up and get mature. The past is the past and I just have to accept it. 

I’ve been experimenting with drawing mandalas on other drawings, like that pregnant woman drawing that I made. I tried it on a butterfly but I’m not sure which piece I like best; the one without a background or the one with? Thoughts?

Also, I just visited my local botanical garden and it was so pretty. I think I’m gonna keep going all year round and maybe doodle there or just study.

Bad news everyone. I'm so sorry but I'm going to start college again since the summer is almost over. I'm going to try to post one post per month. I can't do the everyday post like I did the past few months.

There was this anime that I watched a few years ago called, ‘ Wish Upon the Pleiades ‘ and the art work is sublime! I don’t remember much but I do remember that there was this cosmic garden in the anime so this is just a sort of mirror of it.

Not many people know this about me but sometimes I get visions from my past life and one of those visions showed me that I previously died in childbirth. I guess that’s why I am way too scared of having kids. I don’t want children. Maybe I’m just too young and not ready and I’ll change my mind in the future, but I don’t think that I will.

These pieces are all inspired by Jessica Andersdotter, an artist I’ve been following for many years and remains an inspiration to me to this day. These were very fun to make. Imitating Jessica Andersdotter style and yet adding my unique touch to it too. It was pretty cool and I think I wanna keep creating stuff like this.

My sister has a cat who’s been in the family for almost a decade and I love her so much. So this is just an imagining of me and that cat swinging around the moon. Btw, tomorrow I’m posting a painting I made of her.
