Really delulu and wild TWP theory

So I have this really delulu theory that most likely won't happen, but I still want you to know for the less than 1% chance that I'm right and I get to tell you "told you so":

Attention: Chain of Thorns spoilers ahead!!!

So we all know that Grace and Christopher were supposed to get married, right? But then Christopher was killed. Not before having some chemistry with Grace though. (I mean why did Cassie write the scenes where Christopher goes to the Silent City to talk to Grace, and why did they have the lab scene after he died, if they weren't supposed to have some kind of romantic connection?)

We also know that Grace was literally raised by the woman who went completely mad after losing her husband. What if Grace also goes a little bit mad and tries to bring Christopher back? Just she actually uses her braincells, science, and magic and manages to travel back in time to save Christopher. But she knows she can't just let him be there because that could mess up everything that happens afterwards. (Christopher's death was a big motivation for all the characters to fight Belial). So, Grace tries to make her and Christopher time travel back to her present time, but accidentally adds a few (or a hundred) years.

This means that in the chronological timeline, everything would happen as it's written in the books. Everyone still thinks that Christopher is dead and Grace just randomly disappeared some time after Chain of Thorns.

But then they just appear out of nowhere in 2015 and somehow get involved in TWP.

Meaning: Grace and Christopher can finally get married and Tessa and Jem are happy that their nephew survived.

Nobody be mad at me, I told you it was very delulu!

I see so many people concerned that there will be a love triangle in TWP with either Kit and Ty or Dru and Ash.

But what if the love triangle is actually between Jaime, Thaís and Anush?

In TDA, the love triangle was also between secondary main characters (Cristina, Mark and Kieran) and not main protagonists (Emma and Jules) like in TID, TLH and TMI. Maybe Cassie is going to repeat that in TWP.

I had this headcannon where Henry becomes lead singer and songwriter of Bea's rock band. And because he has to be a girl for that (if I remember correctly, Bea's band mates are all girls), both Henry and Alex are girls in this too.

Bea and Henry's band obviously can't really become this just for their music successful band because they are primarily associated with the Royals. So, obviously, they have this nepo-baby image that they didn’t work for their success and are solely famous for their family. Abd they don't like that.

So, to prove that they do have talent, they disguise themselves as random normal people who founded a band and, just for the fun, take part in the UK's national selection for Eurovision. They don't actually want to win, just get far enough to prove their talent. For some reason (aka really good disguise), nobody recognises them, and they actually get to the final of the national selection. They win and get internationally famous for their song, which "seems to be inspired by the Princess' relationship with her American girlfriend" (hmm... wonder why). They then also win Eurovision (since this actually doesn't happen to the UK anymore) and get really famous (but not TS famous maybe... more like Måneskin famous).

Henry subtly tries to show her real identity while kissing Alex while being filmed during their winner's performance, but the press seemingly misunderstands and thinks that Alex has an affair with that random singer (aka Henry). So, the next day Henry, who got enough of the cheating rumours just posts on her social media something like " you need to calm down, this is me" with a picture of Alex and her kissing during the performance and one with all of the band members afterwards where you can still see that they are the band members but also their real identity.

Due collective media shock and everyone wondering how nobody realized that the Princesses were messing with them the whole time. And obviously enraged Queen Mary, who can't do anything because her granddaughters have brought great pride over her kingdom. Take that, homophobic grandma.

Does this make sense?

Are there any AU fics where either Alex or Henry are musicians but they're not basically Taylor Swift?

Since we apparently had the same thought, here's my Kit-as-a-Taylor-Swift-equivalent headcannon:

Kit and Ty are girls here btw cause I say so (and I can't draw boys)

After Kit gets her heart broken and moves in with Tessa and Jem, she starts writing songs to cope with her emotions, but never publishes them.

She also gets taught piano by Jace, guitar by Simon and violin by Jem. She's really good with the guitar and also succeeds playing the violin after a few years of practice. But she can't play piano for life. Jace will always bully her for this.

"What do you mean you can play guitar after like one day and still don't know where C is on the piano? It's literally in your genes? Like every Herondale plays piano. How do you listen to Simon but not to me???"

Shortly before TWP, she puts some videos of her singing her songs on YouTube after Tessa and Jem encourage her to do so. They blow up during TWP, but since Kit is busy with the usual saving-the-world stuff, nobody notices until a few weeks after TWP.

She then decides to professionally record some of them and publishes an album under the stage name Katie Carstairs. The name of the album is Blackthorn because most of the songs are about Ty.

The album blows up, too, and she becomes very famous in the mundane world, but now also in the Shadowhunter world. I mean, a hero, faery princess and one of the most famous Shadowhunter families, who also sings and writes her own songs? Iconic.

In 2017 she has her first world tour. Later she has some more.

She's getting pretty famous, but the press doesn't manage to invade her privacy like they do with real life Taylor Swift. Remember Kit is a Shadowhunter and faery royality. She knows how to hide absolutely everywhere.

Her second album is called Shadows and is kind of a mix of Fearless and Reputation. Like less fear, more Karma.

Chapter 16

Dear Ty,

I'm sorry I didn't write anything for the last few days. I was so exhausted from all the trips we made, that I fell asleep the moment I went to bed and didn't even think about you. Well, lies, I still think about you. Your ghost still haunts me in my dreams. (Ok stop with the cheesiness Kit! That happens, when you listen to Taylor Swift too much!) What I mean is, that I still think about you in every spare minute and I still miss you, but when I think about you it doesn't hurt as much. First I was scared that I would fall out of love with you and loose all my feelings for you, but I talked with Tessa about this and she said that she feels the same with Will, but that doesn't mean that she loves him any less than when he was alive. It's just that she got so used to thinking about Will and the pain that comes with it, that she got used to it. And I got so used to the fact that I can't be with you right now and have so much else to do, that it doesn't hurt as much. Just like when a child gets vaccinated and the doctor distracts them while giving them the shot. The needle is still there, but it doesn't hurt as much.

But enough about me still pining for you. Surely you want to know what I did the last few days. Or you don't. But I'm telling you anyways because this is still a diary.

So, on Tuesday we rented bikes at the holiday resort and then rode them to the neighbouring town Knokke which is in Belgium. There we went first to a museum about the birds that live in the area. It was very interesting. You would probably like it here. The first part of the museum was inside and you could do a test, how much you know about the birds while learning new things about them. In the end, you can print out your result. Afterwards, you can go into a park outside, where you can watch some of the birds. There, we met some experts who gave the young birds trackers around their feet to be able to locate them later. In a hut that was build in the beach area we found another bird expert, who didn't work at the park but still explained some interesting things to us. Sadly, I didnt really understand much, but I'm sure you would have understood everything. After the walk through the park, we also walked through the national park, which is located right across the border between Belgium and the Netherlands. On the walk we encountered some cows (?), that were laying around right on the walking path. No, they didn't run away from their farmer, they just live in the national park. So, we hesitantly walked by the cows, when Mina had the glorious idea to run to the biggest of the cows and pet it. I really thought it would get annoyed or scared and try to attack Mina, but apparently a little human is not scary enough for them, so it let her pet its face. Then a little cow also let me pet it. It was so cute. I even forgot to take a picture of it, but I'm pretty sure one of my pare Jem or Tessa took one. I will ask them. When we finished the walk, we were able to enter the museum again to go all the way up to its roof so we could take a look at the whole are surrounding the building. They also installed these big binoculars where you have to pay a few cents to use it for five minutes. Naturally, that's exactly what Mina wanted to do, so we all took turns with the binocular. There are many fields surrounding the museum and we could even spot some more cows on another field, but I'm pretty sure they were another breed, as they seemed to have black fur.

Then, Mina complained about being hungry, so we ate at the Café, which is located in the same building. We all ordered hot chocolate and some waffles, since Belgium is famous for its waffles. Which they deserve, to be honest.

(Omg, as I'm writing this, I can hear some cats fighting outside of my window. They sound so funny. Haha. Oh no, my laughing scared them away. Sorry, cats.)

Anyways, back to Tuesday. After eating the waffles, we paid, and rode our bikes to the beach, where Mina and I swam in the sea again and collected a lot of shells.There are these beautiful, long onesn that I absolutely have to show you and we even found one that looked like a sunset.

In the afternoon we went back home, where Tessa taught me how to cook spaghetti, while Mina run around the house, very proudly displaying the knowledge of how to pronounce "binoculars" and showed the plush dove, that she bought in the gift shop of the museum around the house. After dinner I was very tired and immediately went to bed. Mina joined me to cuddle and I guess we both fell asleep. Tessa found us and took a photo of us, which I'm not going to show you. Like never ever. It's very embarrassing. I drooled so hard on the cushion. Ew.

(Just found out that one of the fighting cats outside was Church. He looked at me with such an angel face I got another laughing fit. Haha)

On Wednesday morning we decided to do something calm that day, so we just went to the shops and bought some postcards and a small kite for Mina. I also bought a blue cap and a hoodie. Sadly, the only hoodie that would fit me was pink, but since I don't possess any toxic masculinity, I bought it anyway.

Lucky for Mina and her kite, it was very windy, so we went to the beach afterwards and managed to fly the kite. We had packed some sandwiches, so we spend the whole day at the beach and ate ice cream on the way home. After dinner I almost immediately fell asleep again.

Yesterday, we went to Sluis, which is a small town a few kilometres away from Cadzand, where we explored the shops and took a look at the old windmill in the middle of the town. I bought a snow globe in the gift shop. Also, the church there is apparently getting turned into a house to live in, like Shadowhunters do it for their institutes. Maybe it will be an institute some day.

In the afternoon, when we returned home, we saw two bunnies in a garden that looked time they were kissing each other and shortly afterwards a whole bunny family. Obviously I had to take pictures. At home, we wrote post cards for the people we know and when I brought them to the post office, I saw a postcard in a shop with a drawing of two bunnies kissing. I don't know why, but I bought it and another stamp, and WROTE YOU A POSTCARD. Yes. A postcard. No, I don't know what was wrong with me at that moment, but I put it into the postbox before I could rationally think about it and panic. I did that when I returned home. So yeah, if you received a postcard with two kissing bunnies on it, that was me.

Now I have to go, because we're going to a town called Breskens today.

Here I am, back from the dead. And not even on a Monday. Embarrassing. I was so stressed the last few weeks, that I forgot to continue writing. And the next few weeks, I have some exams, so I don't think there will be a lot of updates following this one until September. But don't worry, afterwards I will hopefully update every Monday again.

Kit's Diary

Chapter 15

Dear Ty,

today we left Paris to spend a few days in the Netherlands. In Paris, we visited the Louvre, the church Notre Dame and of course the Tour Eiffel, which looks beautiful at night. Tessa also told me stories about Matthew Fairchild, the parabatai of her son James, who always was fascinated with Paris and run away with James' wife Cordelia to the city. I tell you, the drama is perfect. Tessa should totally write a book about them. Lol.

But we only stayed in Paris for three days. The day we arrived (Saturday), the day we explored the city (Sunday) and the day we left (Monday). So in addition to that, we only visited the Paris Institute and ate the famous French breakfast, which was very expensive, but totally worth the prise. So delicious. If cookies ever go extinct, I might survive with croissants, too. Also, I found out, that Americans pronounce croissant wrong. It's not "craysant", it's pronounced somehow like "cruwasoh". I can't really write out how it's pronounced, because it ends with this French nasal o-sound.

Anyways, after the breakfast on the third day we packed our stuff and portalled to the Netherlands. For the next days, until next Sunday, we are staying in a holiday home in a village called Cadzand-Bad. The house has three bedrooms, a living room and kitchen and three bathrooms. Now we can all shower at the same time. Lol. But the room Tessa and Jem are sleeping in is really the best in the whole house. It has a giant window, so big that basically the whole wall is the window. Here are some pictures:

After we arrived at noon, we went to the beach. It was still very warm and we decided to swim in the sea. First I was a bit shocked because, obviously, the North Sea is way colder than the Pacific in Los Angeles. But after a few minutes it wasn't that cold anymore and Mina and I attacked Jem and Tessa with the water. Note to self: Never attack a warlock with water! Mina suddenly decided that she wasn't on my side anymore and came up with a new game: Making-Kit-As-Wet-As-Possible. Or rather, Mate-Kish-Wet. When she archived that goal with the help of her parents, we put our normal clothes back on and walked back to the house through the street where all the shops are. We also bought some fish called Kibbeling and some North Sea shrimp.

Back at the house we ate dinner (the Kibbeling with fries), showered (not at the same time because the water pressure wouldn't be good) and went to bed. There, I texted Dru, who is staying with Emma and Julian because she also has holidays at the academy. She had asked me to meet in London, but since I'm not in England right now, I had to decline. But I send her a lot of pictures from Cadzand and now she's happy again. She apparently also showed them to Julian, who decided that the sunset here looks so beautiful that he had to come here, too, to paint it.

Also, we actually wanted to rent this house for our next vacation, but somebody else was faster than we were, so Kit is now living in it instead.

Genderbend Scorbus: Names

Scorpius and Albus have names, that are really difficult to turn into a female name, so I guessed entirely new names would be better.

Scorpius: Cassiopeia Callisto Malfoy

Cassiopeia is not only the name of a constellation, which fits to the Malfoy/Black-family tradition to name their children after constellations, but also the name of one of Draco's distant relatives, Cassiopeia Black. She never married or had any children. So the name could also be a hint at her sexuality.

Callisto is the name of a star and of a figure in Greek mythology, who was a Huntress of Artemis, the goddess of hunt and virginity (and more). She was said to have a very close friendship with Artemis (chrm chrm), which is why this name is fitting for a queer character like Scorpius.

Also, I just like those names.

Her nickname would be Cassie obviously.

Albus: Ruby Regina Potter

Ruby = Rubeus Hagrid

Regina = Regulus Black

Keeping up the concept of Albus' name: one Gryffindor and one Slytherin hero

Also it means "Queen of Rubies", which is kind of ironic as rubies represent Gryffindor and Albus is obviously Slytherin.

Her nickname would be Roo or Reggie.

Kit's Diary

Chapter 14

Dear Ty,

I did not write you for quite some time, but that's not my fault at all... Lies. It's totally my fault. I forgot where I put this book and spend four weeks trying to find it. Guess where it was? Under Mina's bed. Luckily Mina can't read yet, so she obviously didn't read what I wrote in here.

Apart of searching for this book, there was a lot of stuff happening this weeks.

Firstly, I had to write some exams. English and History went pretty well, Geography and Spanish, too. With German, I had some struggles, but I think it was good enough to pass. Math, though, was a different story. We were learning about something called vectors, but damn that stuff was so confusing. Why are we learning this? Do they think that before I fight a demon, I stand there and calculate, where the demon is coming from? No. I just stab. Also, I totally failed this exam. We don't have the grades yet, but I don't quite think I want to know them. Also, I had to do a test in physics. I just guessed because I didn’t understand shit, but I apparently I guessed right becauseI got an A in that test. I'm not complaining.

In addition to the exams, we also had to hand in our assignment paper from the history project. You remember the books I told you about? Yes. This project. We chose the book about Anne Boleyn. Stupidly, I started reading a bit too late and only had three days to do the whole assignment. I don't have to tell you that I was awake the whole last night, right? Yeah, not making that mistake again. We also didn't get any grade for this yet, and I honestly have no idea if I did good or not. But I think I didn't fail completely. It's still history, not maths. Lol.

Secondly, I did this hypnosis thing I told you about. Tessa was willing to cast that spell and I apparently told her and the therapist all the stuff that my mind pushed away to protect me. The thing is: I still don't remember it, only Tessa and the therapist got to know it. Originally I wanted them to tell me what happened, but after Mrs Sullivan informed me, that any details might make me remember those repressed memories, which can damage my mental health even more and I guess we all don't want that. So, I agreed that they only tell me a short summary of the events I forgot, without any major details. Tessa told me then that I apparently survived several attacks coming from faeries as a child and also several people from the Shadow Market that tried to assault me. Every time, I told them, a mysterious blonde woman saved me, but I didn't describe that woman further and had no idea who it was. Tessa suggested that it might have been my mother. She also told me that there were other violent people in my memories, but didn't want to specify who it was, only that it didn't seem to be their intention to hurt me, but to keep me safe. Maybe she ment my father because he definitely wasn't the gentlest person on earth.

Apart of that, I also got my official ADHD diagnosis. The sheets really helped Mrs Sullivan and the expert, who joined her, to diagnose me. Thank you, too, I guess. Now, I legally can have more time for exams, for example. Not that I need it. I'm usually not too slow. And if you can't math, more time ain't gonna help you either. I also talked to that expert about you a bit, and he said, that it's actually very possible that you have autism. See, I wasn't wrong! He also told me, that, if we are on speaking terms again, I should encourage you, to also get a diagnosis, even if it won't help you much among Shadowhunter, as it can also ease you mind because you realise that you're not stupid or weird at all.

Thirdly, my friends and I had a sleepover at Cirenworth. Yes all of them. Leo, Sam, Maria, Henry, Hazel and Louise. Henry never visited me, so we showed him around. According to him, the word "cottage" does not do Cirenworth justice. "That's not a cottage! That's a fucking castle!" Haha. Then Jem explained to us, that legally, Cirenworth is a little bit too small to be a castle, so you have to refer to it as a cottage. But that can't change my mind. From now on forward I will only refer to Cirenworth as our castle now. Anyways, we began our sleepover and watched a few movies, before Leo had the glorious idea to do a karaoke contest. Sam proved to us, that he bears exactly 0% musical talent, Hazel and Louise decided to start a girl group and Leo obviously won, because she's the only one who actually took singing lessons. I, on the other hand, got smacked by Hazel with a pillow, after I sung "Forever & Always" by Taylor Swift a bit too enthusiastically, which, according to her, was very ironic, considering that I am the one who promised to stay with you and then left. Which is fair. But also, just let me enjoy a song goddammit.

Lastly, Tessa and Jem decided that it would be good for me and Mina to see some more of this world. So, we are going to travel around Europe in the autumn holidays starting tomorrow. First we will go to Paris and then to other cities in Europe. But I don't know which. They said it's a surprise. So I'm really excited. But that's nothing against Mina's excitement. She's jumping around the whole day, screaming "Paris! Paris! Paris!" so loud that the mail man looked quite concerned when he delivered a letter.

I hope you also had a good time in the last weeks. Dru told me you visited Blackthorn Hall again with your siblings. And that you have a pet now that eats curtains. Jem also send Church to visit Emma and he came back looking quite traumatized. Now I really wonder what animal your pet is. For all I know it could be an alligator. Wouldn't expect anything less with you. (Please don't let it be an alligator!)

I'm going to end this entry now, as I have to get up early tomorrow to portal to Paris.

My TWP Predictions

I've seen that people started with predictions to what they think or want to happen in The Wicked Powers. So, here are my predictions:

The main character is either Dru or Kit. Dru because she is the most important living female character of the main squad and Kit, because most parts of the series are probably his story. Also he was second after Emma in TDA.

Kit, Dru and Ty have most of the book in their POV, additionally there will be some chapters from Ash and a few in Livvy's POV. The rest of the characters don't get their own POVs .

Kit and Ty will obviously make up (and out) and end up dating and staying together forever.

Mina or one of the Lightwood-Bane kids will be kidnapped and threatened to be killed, but won't die

Thule-Livvy comes to Our World and meets Cameron here. They get a second chance for their relationship, even though their respective versions of the other world are dead. I also think that Cameron would follow Thule-Livvy back to Thule to save it from demons.

Janus will either die, end up with the Seelie Queen, or go back to Thule to undo his and Sebastians mistakes and save the world on Clary's wish.

Thule Kit will either die, go evil and/or become King of Faerie. But somehow I think he dies because he gets attacked by faeries.

Thule Rosemary never gets attacked deadly, finds her son again, tries and fails to protect him at a dangerous attack by faeries and accidently goes to Our World and protects/saves Kit here.

The TWP-squad mainly consists of Dru, Jaime, Ghost-Livvy and/or Thule-Livvy, Kit and Ty. Ash joins them later and Anush also gets to be pretty important, but has no part written in his point of view.

Dru, Jaime and Ash will go to Thule for some reason. Kit, Ty, Livvy and Anush stay in Our World and go to Faerie.

We get to see Auraline. Either in a flashback or because she's actually alive, but nobody knew. In that case she will also protect Kit and maybe end up as Queen of Faerie.

Kieran might give up his throne to the brother who's dating (?) the Seelie Queen in tge end of TDA.

Kit has wings and can make other people fly with his powers. I want to see him and Ty dance across the night sky.

Love triangle between Dru, Jaime and Ash, but they actually communicate and Dru ends up with Ash.

In the end Ash lives with either Dru at Blackthorn Hall or either the Herondale-Carstairs family.

Dru and Ty move to Blackthorn Hall, like Jules planned them to, also to be closer to Kit (and Ash).

Kit and Ash become parabatai. Maybe to secure eachother's survival. They are scared the other will kill them, but parabatai's can't kill eachother. So problem solved.

If a Lightwood dies, it's hopefully Maryse.

Kit fake-dies. Ty also fake-dies at the showdown battle and Kit heals him with his power.

All characters comeback at the showdown. Also Herongraystairs reunion and sibling-bonding of their children.

These are the things I definitely do not want to happen, but might be a bit likely to go down this way:

Jace dying. Because he's a Lightwood, too and has someone who wants to and can step up in his place if he dies: Janus. He's also in more or less immediate danger, because Janus wants to kill him. Also Clary thought that she would die in TDA, so maybe Jace steps up to die instead of her (like Jason did for Piper in TOA, Rick is a friend of Cassie's, too, btw). But I hope it's not him who dies.

Ideas I had, that are probably way too wild for it to actually happen:

KitTy wedding in faerie as a way of staying together forever, because others want to separate them.

Rosechild / Rosestar moments: I mean Ash flirting with Jaime and Jaime totally questioning his sexuality. Maybe even some more romantic moments

Ash taking the Fairchild name instead in honour of his aunt and grandma.

Kit taking the Blackthorn name because he feels more connected to them than to the Herondales. Jace almost disowning him afterwards.

Kit bonding and cuddling with a duck. Jace definitely disowning him now.

Ash being the one who warns Clary and Jace about Janus

I probably have even more ideas, which I will add when I remember them.
