the crew was parting on the island they were currently docked on, whatever it was for the party was in full swing

with one drink after another you were starting to feel a bit tipsy

but at some point you knew your limit and decided to lay back on drinks for a while

you told the crew you were gonna head back to the ship for some rest, and “coincidentally” zoro announced he was heading back to the ship

which led to sanji teasing him and calling him a lightweight

on your way back to your room to lay down you stopped at the deck railing to look up at the stars

zoro appeared next to you with a skeptical look on his face, wondering why you weren’t in bed resting like you said you would

honestly you wanted to say something completely different but you just couldn’t stop the words from coming out of your mouth

“yea but it’s nice to watch the stars with someone you love right?” you smiled at him softly

zoro was a little embarrassed his cheeks were now a bright pink he walked off mumbling something about waiting till you’re sober

shanks

y’all were partying just cause

i mean it’s shanks no explanations needed

you decided to call it a night cause you knew your limit on drinks, plus you wanted to leave before you did or said sumn dumb at least that was the plan

you were trying to make it to the door but you were a little wobbly with the alcohol flowing through your system at the moment

you were almost to the door until you tripped expecting to hit the floor you closed your eyes and braced for impact until you felt and arm wrap around you

you looked up to see shanks smiling at you snickering a bit a joking about how you can’t hold your alcohol

you laughed and smiled at him “well it looks like i’ve fallen for you both literally and figuratively.”

he was shocked for a moment before he quickly started smirking

“yea maybe tell me when you’re sober” he kissed your temple and guided you to your room kissing your temple once again as his way of saying good night

ace

same with shanks it’s whitebeard’s crew they were probably celebrating a new family member or something

but i know they would have the strongest alcohol ever, he is a big dude after all

everyone on that ship could hold their liquor with a few lightweights here and there

anyways, you were dumb and bored and you some how got ropped into a drinking contest

whether you won or lost you were more than a little drunk at this point

you went to find ace or at least attempted to, bumping into a few crew mates on the way

when ace found you, the two of you walked to a secluded section of the ship so you could catch your breath a little bit

you sat down on the floor, backs supported by the ship’s railing and shoulders touching

without thinking you leaned your head on his shoulder and hummed with content

“can we stay like this for a little longer it’s nice”

ace was a little confused but he honestly felt like it was the alcohol talking “why? maybe we should take you do bed to rest.”

you lifted your head off his shoulder to look at him and smiled “because i like you dummy i like being around you n stuff”

ace wasn’t sure if that was an actual confession from you cause he was aware that you were drunk, but his cheeks were a light pink and it wasn’t caused by the alcohol

the crew made fun of him blushing when they noticed, and he yelled at them all and told them to shut up out of embarrassment

- then boom you were tall and muscular, wiping out marines by the handfuls; ace was impressed to say the least

- after he deemed enough ARSON was committed he offered you to like escape with him just in case more were on their way

- the rest is history yea yea

- no but seriously he loves that youre a devil fruit user and he lowkey JUST LOWKEY thinks titan form is kinda hot LIKE a weeee bit

- he will note things like your muscular form when your in titan form and how you effortlessly switch back and forth

- he also doesn’t judge you for anything weird about the devil fruit because he thinks its so cool

- never shuts the hell UP over you and your spectacular ability hes always indirectly and directly complimenting you.

- MAKES others agree that you are one of the strongest. by any means possible he’ll get a disagreer to agree

- also keeps your bounty poster with him obviously

Ace, Luffy, and Law getting saved by their S/O in battle

Ace

On one hand, he thinks it’s a little cute that his partner tried to help when he could easily take care of himself. He’s very confident in his abilities but he’s also willing to acknowledge others without much ego to it, so he’d give a charming ‘thanks!’ (Does he do that hat pat thing he does? Yes, If there’s time) And continue fighting. It’s not until later, when things are more settled, that he tells them that he’s grateful for what they did, but, to not ever do that (put themselves in danger for his sake) again.

Luffy

Ah, Monkey D. Luffy - the most honest about how he feels out of the three. His partner would get a “Thanks for the save!” At best during the action, and maybe a bro-like pat on the back post fight and some surface level praises during the post brawl party. He doesn’t think much of it, and doesn’t treat the situation any different than if any of the other strawhats saved him. His partner may eventually, randomly, get a sloppy kiss on the cheek at the party though.

Law

Honestly I’m still learning about Law, but from years of absorbing my friend’s (vaguely horny) Law headcanons, I would say he ping pongs between being ‘they could’ve DIED’ to being generally flustered by the whole situation. He wouldn’t really react in the moment or after - maybe you’ll get a ‘thanks’ a he’d just get very quiet until someone points it out, wherein he denies it, and no one buys it.

Immediately notices the cute clothes you're wearing and sincerely compliments you.

Ready to throw some hands (ง •̀_•́)ง the moment someone spoils the mood for calling you ugly.

All up in the other person's face — fire fists clenched on their collar and fierce eyes glaring at the disrespectful stranger, ready to pounce like a predator hunting its prey.

Demands — no, threatens — the other person to apologize.

You have to pry Ace's fingers off to stop him from assaulting the stranger physically.

"Fucking ugly," the stranger hisses, eyeing your body in disgust, "Who said you could wear those clothes, huh?"

Your heartbeat quickens, palms beginning to drench in sweat from anxiety. Feeling ashamed, you lower your eyes — the familiar stinging sensation of tears obscuring your vision — and fidget with your shirt to hide how visibly upset you are.

Ace is quick to react, snarling aggressively as his fingers clench fists against the stranger's collar. "Take that back right now."

You take a step forward, trembling fingers gripping his tense arm in reassurance. "Ace, please. It's not worth it."

"It's not right," Ace says definitively, brown eyes widening in concern at your teary expression. "He needs to apologize for what he said."

Not expecting a physical confrontation, the stranger splutters a string of insincere apologies, no doubt spoken in an attempt to appease the fiery pirate.

Furiously shaking the man in displeasure, Ace lifts the man higher from the ground with little effort. "It's not good enough."

With his body suspended in midair, the stranger begins to panic, bony fingers clutching against Ace's firm grip out of instinct.

You tug at Ace's muscled arm, the tips of your fingernails lightly digging into his bare skin in urgency. "Let's just go, please."

Ace turns to you and pauses, heart clenching at the plea in your voice. He looks at you — really looks at you — at the soft breeze tousling your hair and the form-fitting clothes accentuating every beautiful curve of your body. But your eyes. Your eyes, usually so full of laughter, were downcast, disheartened by the stranger's cruel words.

Ace grabs your hand in a comforting hold and leads you farther and farther away from the source of your distress.

"You look lovely, you know. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise."

RORONOA ZORO

Doesn't pay much attention to what you're wearing.

Thinks you look beautiful regardless of your current appearance but doesn't voice this sentiment.

Regardless, he's alert as soon as people from the rooftops start to shout at you from a distance.

At first, the shouting is incomprehensible. But when you get closer, the strangers' yells promptly switch from unwanted catcalls to taunts and insults.

Moves closer to you and adopts a defensive stance.

Intimidation factor = 1000 %

When you and Zoro get within earshot, the man atop the rooftop yells, "Damn, thought you were smokin' hot at first. Didn't realize your face was fucking ugly!"

You freeze in your tracks at the man's insult, head ducking in embarrassment when you realize the abrasive comment was meant for you.

The rest of his posse laughs and mockingly points at you. A female voice rings loudly from the onslaught, her sharp nail pointing at the green-haired swordsman beside you. "Hey, handsome! What are you doing with that rat face?"

Without a word, Zoro glares at the woman, causing her to flinch at his cold indifference. Unperturbed by his lack of interest in her, the woman on the rooftop leans closer to the edge of the railing and shrieks at you, "Don't ever show your face in public ever again!"

Zoro's hand reaches over the hilt of his katana. Before you can stop him, the sharp steel of his blade swings forward in a diagonal line aimed directly at the building in front of you.

"Enma!"

You startle at Zoro's command, doe eyes watching the building before you as it begins to collapse sideways.

When they start to lose their footing, the group of strangers on the rooftop of the sliced building begin to panic.

"Wh-what the hell's going on?"

"Oh god, honey! Save me, please!"

"The building's collapsing! What the fuck happened?"

"An earthquake?"

"We need to go! NOW!"

Mouth opening and closing in bewilderment, you become too speechless to say anything. When you look at Zoro again, his sword is back in its sheathe. Face impassive, he nudges at your side and walks ahead to spur you into action.

"Pay them no mind. You look fine."

TRAFALGAR LAW

Notes that you're dressed rather adorably.

Wants to give you a brief compliment but doesn't quite know how to without sounding like a creep.

Ponders on how he should compliment you until it becomes too late to say something. Ends up not saying anything.

Inwardly frustrated at himself for overthinking things.

Grits his teeth and snarls at the group of people who insult you.

Though he doesn't expect you to be perturbed by the rude comments since they're such a blatant lie, he becomes enraged on your behalf.

Gets caught off guard when he notices the tears brimming in your eyes.

Cue Shambles, and body parts start to fly everywhere.

The strangers start to beg for their lives and apologize, but Law is having none of it.

"You look disgusting," the stranger says while another stranger declares, "Those clothes would look better on a dog than on you."

You can't help the tears that form in the corner of your eyes. Frustrated at your inability to stay calm, you roughly rub the back of your eyes with the back of your hands to hide your increasingly emotional state.

Law slaps something down onto your lowered head. Feeling the pleasant weight nestled comfortably on your head, you reach up toward the foreign object to closely examine it.

His spotted hat greets you in all its fuzzy glory.

Rarely ever out in public without his trademark cap, he's a sight to behold. Spiky black hair standing in opposing directions, he attempts to compose his appearance by flattening the top of his hair to no avail. Understanding the futility of his actions, he quickly gives up and focuses his attention back on the group of strangers.

"Room."

You've heard him utter those words far too many times, followed by the next word serving as the final nail in their coffins, completely sealing their fates.

"Shambles."

What was once living humans was now reduced to a pile of flesh, their body parts floating in midair.

The look of horror in the strangers' faces as they scramble to put together their original bodies will forever haunt you. Although, there was some twisted part in you that appreciated Law's gesture.

"Will they be okay?" you ask, peering over his shoulder to see one of the stranger's severed torso hopping around in place, no doubt searching for its other parts.

"Leave them," he says nonchalantly, "They're not injured. It'll give them some time to reflect on their actions."

Stopping yourself from defending your abusers, you bite your lip at his response, falling into step beside him.

"You look nice," he says, pausing momentarily before continuing, "Wear those clothes again."

Law thinks that you're especially a sight for sore eyes — wearing his hat — but he doesn't say this.

One Piece headcanons: De-aged Luffy and Ace.

De-aged fics are so great because the idea of any of the characters being small and defenseless in their world is fantastic

Luffy

Luffy being de-aged mentally and physically to when he was little.

Big eyes tearing up constantly even though he keeps rubbing at them and declaring that Ace said he wasn't suppose to cry so much and actually wait where is Ace? Or Sabo?

Little feet running around the Sunny and a happy child's laugh chiming in the air. Thousands of questions about adventures and nakama and freedom.

The way he still gets as close as he can to them, climbing in Zoro's lap or trying to climb up Franky or pressing against Robin's side when she reads him stories.

And he's so tiny.

Luffy just being so happy because look at the family he gets! They're the best and they're his!

The crew is terrified though because the sea is no place for a child, especially one as accident prone as Luffy. However, he's theirs and he's weak like this, everything in them snarling at the very idea of him being away from them, being defenseless and alone when he belongs with them.

Luffy playing with Zoro's hands because they're huge and he's fascinated by all the scars.

Curious eyes peeking over a desk to watch Nami sketch her maps and being give paper to draw his own next to her.

Sanji letting Luffy sit in the kitchen with him while he makes dinner, occasionally sneaking bites to Luffy who always smiles like he's surprised.

Usopp making him small toys and telling stories of their adventures, Luffy hanging on every word.

Robin knows everything and reminds him of Makino, Luffy loves sitting with her and asking every question he can think of while she smiles at him.

Chopper and him playing tag and running around the deck and darting between legs.

Luffy climbing all over Franky like a jungle gym, gushing over everything he sees and eyes glowing.

Brook playing all the kids songs he can think of and Luffy dancing with little twirls and shakes, jumping up and down while asking him to play it again.

Ace

Ace being de-aged mentally and physically after being settled in with the whitebeard crew for awhile.

Suddenly a spitfire brat with grief and rage all held tight in the little lines of his body. If they thought Ace was angry when they meet him, that was nothing compared to this wild child.

Trying to coax him out like a feral animal even though he practically spits at them like a pissed off cat.

He keeps asking where Luffy and Sabo are. Eyes watching them with distrust and the expectation of something coming that will hurt him.

Maybe they finally get him to relax, just keeping up with him and not relenting just like Luffy did. Maybe they tell him they know he's Roger's kid and the fear in his eyes will probably stay with them for the rest of their lives but it's the first step to him trusting them.

He's s so small, freckles sprinkled across his cheeks and tan skin that speaks of days outside under the sun. Dark bruises, little lumps where bones healed wrong or sprains were ignored, scars running in white lines on skinny arms and legs, and the only reason they stick out so much is because they shouldn't be there.

Ace is young, small, and skittish. He flinches sometimes when they move too quick and doesn't dare ask for affection but leans into them when they shower him with it.

Something or someone hurt Ace, or at the be very least neglected him. The crew isn't very happy to see it. Ace is basically the baby of the family, and now even more so.

Okay, so they're a little overprotective. So what?

But they spoil the hell out of him as much as they can.

Letting him train with them, teaching him the best ways to defend himself even though he's already pretty good, letting him help Thatch make food, telling stories of their adventures while Ace listens with wide and disbelieving eyes.

The way he lingers on their tattoos, something hopeful and longing in his eyes.

Marco lets him touch his feathers one day, the way hesitant little fingers brush through the fire without being hurt. How Ace lets out the breath he had been holding, turning excited eyes to them and grinning like the sun.

Being ASL'S sister - (Sabo - Ace - Luffy) & Sister reader

HII ! I am back. I am very busy with my studies but took some time to write this today. I haven’t seen this concept. I like brotherly relationships and I thought about writing some headcanons about being Asl’s sister <3 I got this idea while listening to cinee’s playlist. I will tag them with x reader tag for visibility but these ARE NOT romantic.

SABO

■ Big brother material. Very protective and caring. ■ Whenever you fall asleep with Ace eating ice cream and watching movies, he would take you to your room. ■ He makes sure that you have breakfast. If he has work/university and has to go out early he leaves a post it note « Coffee is not breakfast !! » ■ Proud brother. He has always helped you with homework growing up. Imagine his feelings the day you graduate. He will be the proudest brother ever as he has always been cheering up for you through academic years. ■ He also feels a bit of achievement since he was the one tutoring you. ■ Extremely good listener. When things didn’t go well in highschool as you were struggling with teenager years, he was always there to listen to you and uplift you, while also offering some insight and solutions to your problems. ■ Has always tried to get you interested in anarchist philosophy but it never worked. ■ He can be a bit annoying sometimes : nags a lot about wanting to watch the news while you and Luffy want to watch silly cartoons.

ACE

■ The annoying brother. You have always had some kind of rivalry going on. You love each other to death but you’re always like cat and mouse. ■ « ACE ?!!!! DON’T TELL ME YOU ATE MY PIE ! I put a post-it on it ! It said that it was mine ! I was looking forward to eat it all day ! » ■ Ace : this meme ■ Definitely scared all of your boyfriends away. ■ Loves to prank you and Sabo. ■ You’re competitive. You always place bets on stupid things, like who is going to finish eating faster. ■ He is the « Can you fetch me a glass of water ? » while being in the kitchen type of sibling. ■ Offers to pay you for doing his homework. Sometimes when you need some extra pocket money it’s really helpful, but you make sure to up the price and take advantage of the situation. ■ « Please Ace, for the love of god PUT ON A GODDAMN SHIRT. » ■ Do you remember when you got bullied in highschool and one day the bullying stopped suddenly ? Well, that was Ace beating the hell out of them. He never said he did, but he swore to himself to keep a close eye on you. ■ Deep down he thinks that you’re the prettiest sister ever. He still remembers how he made fun of your makeup on prom night but deep down he was proud to have such a beautiful sister. ■ He isn’t very cuddly, but when you are extremely serious and in distress he would silently pass his arm over your shoulder and lean into a brotherly hug.

LUFFY

■ The little brother. Your pride and your sunshine. ■ When you were little, you used to always play tricks on him with Sabo and Ace. You made him believe that he was adopted. ■ « When I’ll get older, I’ll become older than you ! » No Luffy. You can’t become older than someone. ■ His room is a complete mess. You always feel compelled to clean it once a week because no one else would. ■ The most cuddly of the three brothers. Whenver you’re having a bad day you can just go and play some video games together. No talking about serious stuff, just having a relaxing moment together. ■ He admires you and believes in your academic capacities. He also always tells other people about you and about how smart you are. ■ Always has his friends over at the house. ■ Whenever he runs out of clean clothes, he would borrow yours. He doesn’t care that it’s « girl clothes » ■ You still remember the time he borrowed your dress…Ace and Sabo found it hilarious and took pictures of it. How could you get mad at him ? It looked surprisingly cute. ■ You have to hide all of your chapsticks because he would eat them.

I love the concept of Ace being the youngest of the whitebeard pirates or being seen as the little brother regardless of his age. I just wonder how he would have reacted to it, suddenly having people who want to keep an eye on him and are protective.

I know he had Sabo and Luffy but that was when he was little and also a different type of relationship.

Ace pacing the decks at night, restless and uneasy because of a nightmare. Constantly scanning the dark skies and seas for any sign of a threat.

If they would come and sit or take watch with him because they know it helps him settle, even though there's nothing there. Maybe coax him away with incentive of food or games and distracting him until he falls asleep on one of them or is sleepy enough to be lead back to his bed.

Ace not eating enough when food is low or they take longer to get to an island than anticipated. His body burning through everything he eats and more, no one even noticing until he's a little thinner, ribs poking out a little more prominently when he stretches and the warmth he usually gives off is much softer.

And duh. They know devil fruit users need more food but Ace needs so much, because of his powers specifically and just because he has a large appetite. Everyone collectively losing their shit because no one noticed or thought about that until Ace was fighting and tried to make a huge fire and failed. Only making the smallest, gentle flame on his hands before shrugging and launching himself at the threat for a fistfight instead.

Patching up his own wounds or shrugging them off while Marco and the nurses come after him with lectures on infection, love and worry tucked in their words.

One of them always settling down to sit next to Ace when he falls asleep somewhere off ship. Casual, usually a few of them sitting down to have a conversation, but very clearly a protective presence until Ace wakes up again.

Ace is strong, young, attractive, and worth a lot of money. Everything in them puffs up in anger and worry when someone sees Ace and dollar signs practically replace their eyes. When people watch Ace, eyes lingering on the dimples at the base of his spine, and all the exposed skin with blatant desire.

When people see how young he is and think it will be an easy fight. Or how they see the tattoo on his back and think it won't be an easy fight but a good one.

These people act like the word family means nothing.

Like Whitebeard wouldn't destroy the world for any of this children.

Like they wouldn't burn the world for their brothers.

Like the ink on their skin is simply ink instead of a claim.

As if they don't all back each other when there is threat. Protective eyes taking in everything and while Ace is the baby of the family, he's also the first one up and causing chaos if someone touches any of them.
