[Honkai Star Rail 2.2 Spoilers]
Boothill, my beloved space cyborg cowboy! I swear, I haven't been this obsessed with a game character ever since Neuvillette. I'm sorry Robin, I absolutely love your songs and Ultimate, but my space cyborg cowboy is top priority.
A memory zone meme that was pretty much an eldritch abomination being called "Sleepie" and described like a docile pet that's misbehaving (AKA stabbing people to bring them to Dreamflux Reef)...
Love Boothill's back-up plans, especially the hostage one. His dynamic with Dan Heng is hilarious, and Boothill would absolutely hit it off with the MC. 馃ぃ
Firefly being pretty much the first Stellarons Hunter the Astral Express as a whole genuinely gets along with.
Also Sunday...
I FCKING CALLED IT. I can't believe I was actually spot on with my Order theory!
Misha... I'M SO SAD. His departure actually hit me way harder than I thought it would. And it broke me when I saw the guest book and the departed note 馃槶. I'm so glad I've built him (I needed Ice AoE).
I loved the difference between the Preservation and the Harmony Path scenes. While the Preservation was more action packed, the Harmony was much more emotional since it was more of a debate of philosophies. The way Xipe glanced at us actually looked like THEY were supportive of the Trailblaze.
The Dream Ending scene really shocked me. And I was so pissed because I REALLY WANTED BOOTHILL TO TRAVEL WITH US, even if it was for a short while 馃槶.
Also was not expecting an Argenti appearance. I learned from others in Twitter you can actually avoid his fight by picking the right dialogue. I can't believe I missed an achievement.
Boothill's plan at the end really made me more interested in the current status of the Galaxy Rangers. Their scene was so cool, they actually arrived without hesitation when Boothill fired the burial artifact.
Finally got official confirmation that Acheron shares a name with her HI3 and Genshin counterparts just like Himeko and Bronya.
The Harmonious Choir Boss was fcking epic. And it's awesome and funny that the MC and Clockie basically just ram THE ENTIRE ASTRAL EXPRESS (even if it's just a copy) onto him. And the Robin song cutscene was so cool.
WHY DID IT HAVE TO END ON ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER?? I hope we actually get significant Boothill lore in 2.3, I mean, the cliffhanger does need to be addressed.
Penacony is absolutely PEAK. I love that the mission revealed significant lore about the Nameless.

My Unpopular Opinion of Furina...
I may be one of the few that doesn't really like Furina's character.
Don't get me wrong, she's amazingly well-written and complex. It's just that it isn't my cup of tea.
At first, I liked how human she seemed to be during the first few Acts of the AQ. But after Act V, I was kinda disappointed.
Because my impressions of her during Act I and Act II was that Furina worked hard to be a celebrity archon but was also kind of a selfish brat that was over her head (I mean, she kinda was given how she just recklessly accused Lyney and tried to arrest the Traveler, whom she taunted for a duel, despite the fact we are a living legend that fought dragons and the Electro Archon and obviously wouldn't bat an eye dueling another god). And I honestly liked that more than canon!Furina.
I think it may also be because Sparkle (HSR character) was what I expected from Furina's character, they even have the same actress motif. I was probably hoping for a villainous archon. Ei was an antagonist, but wasn't a villain since she only had the best intentions for Inazuma. I'm disappointed that we likely have to wait for Natlan or Sneznhaya for that.
I wanted more playable characters (outside of the Harbingers) that weren't firmly on the side of good. Furina was the perfect character to be unhinged and crazy, and they still could keep her masquerade/actress theme even with her true self out in the open. Her being self-sacrificial is a good written character trait and all, but we already had that in Nahida (especially during her 2nd SQ), and I was hoping they wouldn't do a repeat in the next archon.
There's no need to take this seriously, as this is simply my personal opinion.

(Honkai Star Rail 2.1 Spoilers) Sunday is a follower of Harmony but...
I believe he's more of a Pathsrider of Order (Ena the Order's path in which Xipe took over), which is still technically Harmony.
Once I realized this, it suddenly made a lot of sense to me. The fact that The Family isn't actually as united as it seemed (which goes against Harmony) but rather just kept everything in order to prevent chaos (like making the Watchmaker a public legend, instead of shaming him like The Family wanted to).
Sunday was described by Aventurine as a control freak (like Ena was implied to be due to their puppet string motif) and canonically has OCD (I saw a post that you can read that in a note by the round table in Sunday's room). By this point, Penacony seemed to be under Order on the inside with Harmony as a mask.

Does anyone realize that Furina's importance outside of Fontaine has kinda diminished lore wise?
I'm not saying that she's not important at all, the AQ made it clear that she's the central figure of the Fontaine main story. But outside of Fontaine, however, I realized that she's like most of the characters (that were born in the current era) that aren't really personally aware of the bloody and gruesome history of Teyvat as well as the world's complicated inner workings, such as the fake sky. She's like Nahida, someone who has never lived through the era of the Archon War nor was she in the crossfire during the Cataclysm.
Focalors would be the one that might know something, but unfortunately, the Traveler never got to actually meet her (unless we find some remnant similar to Raiden Makoto's consciousness). Post 4.2, Neuvillette fills that role instead (like Yae Miko) and will likely be the one we will often turn to for main story lore.

My hc on Neuvillette and Furina's relationship post 4.2
What if, after 4.2, Neuvillette lost trust in Furina? Like, he is most definitely still fond of her and greatly appreciates her efforts to save Fontaine. But after being lied to for so long (even if he knows it is absolutely necessary), he lost some of the trust he thought he had in her. Like, he definitely trusts her as a selfless human that would prioritize others over her own self. But when it comes to secrets, it kinda just broke down.
Before you guys hate on me for this HC, imagine being lied to ALL THE TIME by someone whom you viewed as a companion (even if they were not close as friends) for 400 years. Even if it was necessary, emotions aren't logical and it was inevitable for trust to be lost.
Neuvillette realized he never knew the real Furina and lost his trust in her due to her secrets. He does not fault her precisely because he knew she instinctively keeps everything a secret (a side effect of 400 years of acting and lying).
(I may be writing this because Furina isn't my favorite character but I just hate the community, especially Furina stans, bashing the other characters when Furina wasn't the only one who suffered in the AQ. The trial was justified. Anyone remember how there were many that hated Furina during her first introduction? Now imagine yourself in the shoes of the Fontainians that had to witness her theatrics at almost every trial, turning everything into an entertainment in a courtroom and causing the public to not question the validity of the verdicts.)

My HC about Neuvillette's power [4.2 Spoilers]
I believe that, after finally regaining his full Authority and reclaiming his title as Teyvat's God of Life, Neuvillette can actually easily make someone immortal.
The Hydro Sovereign is Teyvat's original God of Life, since all life in Teyvat used to come from the sea. At the end of the 4.2 AQ, he turned all Fontainians into real humans, something that not even Egeria, was able to do.
Neuvillette essentially recreated an entire species of humans.
That means, with his full Authority, he could easily make an entire species of new life forms if he so wishes to. It's entirely possible that he could create a new race of humans, Oceanids, or vishaps.
The Fontainians were Egeria's creation, and yet Neuvillette was able to change the biology of a race that was not his (although it was probably still technically his Authority Egeria used AKA the Gnosis. But I don't know if she actually used the Gnosis to create the Fontainians in canon lore).
In the AQ, the Fontainians were still technically Oceanids that didn't become fully humans until Neuvillette's intervention. That means that he could possibly change someone's species (Ex. Human > Oceanid and vice versa), like he could turn humans into a long-life species.

Genshin Impact 4.2 Spoilers
Simply put, the quest was hype. Fontaine already became my favorite nation the moment it was released but the entire main story really surpassed Sumeru for me.
But what I don't like was how some of the community began bashing the Fontaine playable characters for the trial in Act V. I mean, I understand bashing the Fontaine NPCs (they're the main reason why Furina couldn't simply act as herself when playing Focalors), but I got upset when people said the vision wielders were just as bad as the Fontaine NPCs.
Neuvillette and the prosecutor group had a perfectly good reason for doing what they did in Act V. From their perspective, the prophecy is about to be fulfilled and Furina has been giving nothing but empty promises (which they actually were empty promises since she can't do anything but act, and didn't know what Focalors planned). This is especially the case for Navia, whose hometown just went through one of the worst catastrophes that ever happened.
No side was right or wrong in Act V. Furina deceived Fontaine (which was necessary), while for the Traveler and Neuvillette's group, it was a race against time and needed to get answers from Furina through any means necessary (and they were never supposed to know about the deceit).

Hydro Archon Role Theory
Furina quickly became my favorite archon once I watched more of her behavior during the Archon Quest. It's because she seemed to be the most "human" out of the rest of the previous Archons and her nervous wreck moments actually made her really relatable, at least to me.
While watching the Archon Quest, I found it interesting how Neuvillette seems to be the one who acts more like a God of Justice than the Archon herself.
I have a theory that Furina initially didn't become an Archon willingly. Like, this is probably similar to a noble/rich/traditional family trope, where the heir child died and all the assets are transferred over to the incompetent younger child. Furina probably didn't want the stressful position of a God of Justice and passed that responsibility to Neuvillette, but she still retained the role of an Archon because she wanted people to favor her.

That feeling when you really want to make a Neuvillette fanfiction but you had to wait for his story quest to be released and for the Archon Quest to finish to get the full details (because you don't want to go through the pain of having to edit the entire story). 馃槶

I really find it funny how most of us expected an intense Fontaine Archon Quest, like us getting arrested and breaking out of jail (altho I think we might be [Spoilers] breaking Childe out of jail) in the very first act and nearly everyone being against us like the Akademiya. But instead, someone else got arrested and we're the ones playing the defense instead of the defendant. The ones whom we thought were evil (Furina and Neuvillette) turned out to be the opposite of what we expected them to be.
Especially Neuvillette. Like seriously, that guy is a cinnamon roll. We thought he was going to be the main antagonist of the first acts (not sure about the future acts tho, since we might challenge him since he can't really go against the Oratrice) but then we quickly learn he's very wholesome and soft in the first few minutes of our first meeting with him.
As for Furina, I kinda already expected her to have a fearful side, since Dainsleif mentioned in the Travail trailer that even she knows not to make an enemy of the divine (Celestia).

Genshin Impact 4.0 Spoilers 2
Neuvillette really needs a hug.
Like, it's clear that even though he's Chief Justice, he actually really doesn't like how justice is done in Fontaine. Lyney said that rain often falls during trials. Considering that it literally just rained right after Navia yelled at Neuvillette, I think that this foreshadows that sooner or later, he's going to have a mental breakdown.
The worst part is? Neuvillette can't do anything about it. Trials are literally the energy source of Fontaine. Even if he wants to change the system, it would make people lose faith in Justice, which will only result in Fontaine to stop functioning and there's also the fact that the sea level is still rising. Basically, rebellion will cause Fontaine to drown.
Seriously, someone needs to comfort this depressed cinnamon roll (hopefully the Traveler and the Melusines).

Genshin Impact 4.0 Spoilers
What I expected Neuvillette to be:
A cold, serious, no-nonsense judge.
What Neuvillette really is:
What I mentioned above, but to a lesser extent. Actually an awkward guy, having difficulty socializing with other humans (since he lacks understanding of human emotions) and apologizes a lot. Also a soft, ideal father to the Melusines. Is also actually more thoughtful and kind behind his cold exterior.
Edit:
I also love how both Neuvillette and Furina seemed like they were going to be neutral-evil from the trailers but then it turns out that both of them are insecure with how they act around others (Neuvillette being awkward at communicating with other humans while Furina is a nervous wreck beneath her confident mask).

I think the trials might be more Danganronpa than Ace Attorney lol. I dunno if this is just an informative cutscene or an actual trial recap tho.

Focalors/Furina's split personality theory
I've seen many posts that said that Furina's eyes symbolize Fontaine's theme for balance. Like, Ousia/Pneuma energy, Truth/Lies or Chaos/Order. There were also theories that she may have a split personality.
In my opinion, if the split personality (chaos/order) theory is true, I think it ties in how she acts and rules in Fontaine (like, wanting entertainment more than actual justice). Like, in the future Archon Quest, it's likely we may only see her chaotic side. Because as Lyney said in the trailer, Truth and Delusion are equal parts in a trial, since entertainment is also a very serious matter in acquiring people's faith in justice. I believe that Furina doesn't have a reason to act like a serious archon like Zhongli or Ei because Neuvillette already fulfills the 'Order' role. So I think Furina acts like a chaotic child to balance Neuvillette's seriousness.

My theory on how the Fontaine Archon Quest might go
I've read a post where Fontaine has a theme of balance, which usually represents justice. So I feel like this might be a story where both sides have a point. The hero group (which is the Traveler, Paimon, Navia, probably Lyney and Lynette) wants to stop the tragic prophecy from happening so they're rebelling against Fontaine's cold laws, but at the same time, judgment and faith is the power source of Fontaine, so Neuvillette needs to bring in more criminals for Fontaine to function.
Since there were theories that Neuvillette dislikes Focalors/Furina (because he might be an Oceanid or the Hydro Dragon), I think he might be planning something against Furina, like what the Akademiya Sages planned for Scaramouche. If Neuvillette plans on replacing Furina, he has a justified reason for wanting to do so (since Furina seems to care more about entertainment than actual justice), unlike the Sages. However justification is thrown out of the window if Neuvillette is someone who sides with the Oceanids (mutual hatred for the current Hydro Archon) and is actually trying to fulfill the prophecy in which Furina suffers in the end.
