[SUMMARY: Elizabeth Jones is a friend to the Bridgerton family thanks to her father. She gets along with all except for Anthony until her father unexpectedly passes and she seeks comfort from him in the most intimate way.]
Smut
"I...I can't do this to you, Elizabeth," he barely managed to speak. You could still feel him against you, you knew he didn't want to stop. What kind of man would he be to take your virginity this way...yet...you didn't care.
Anthony and Elizabeth
Anthony Bridgerton was a very well known man for different reasons. Usually looked at positively by most, you couldn't stand the idea of him. One of the things that stood out about him for you was that he was a rake. Many of times you had seen the sights of him attempting to pursue a woman making you roll your eyes. The only reason you tolerated the man was due to the fact that your father was very close to his father who passed away, therefore you developed a close relationship with his family. After Anthony's father passed away your father vowed to help them in any way he could. It had now been almost two years since you had last seen the Bridgerton family as you were studying in another part of London. Returning home you were told by your father that you would be joining the Bridgertons for dinner alongside him.
That evening you arrived and as always were very welcomed by the Bridgertons.
"How long has it been? My have you changed!" Violet hugged you as she looked down at you with a genuine smile.
"Nearly two years, I meant to come back sooner but-
"Elizabeth! Oh I was just going to write to you!" Daphne ran to you with her arms open. You smiled at her with a hug when you noticed Anthony step in the room.
"Look who it is," a humorous smile on his lips with his hands behind his back.
"My Lord," you bowed your head with a sigh as he winked at you playfully without others noticing. Violet quickly left the room accompanied by Daphne to make sure everything was prepared for when your father would arrive.
"You look lovely," Anthony complimented you as he always had although you wished he didn't.
"Thank you," you responded as he stepped closer to you. Taking a step back you noticed the maid in the room watching with the corner of her eye.
"Now.." he looked down at you observing every feature of yours as he squinted his eyes.
"Something is different I just can't put my finger on it,"
"I don't know what you're talking about," you quickly walked off to the bookshelf ignoring his looks making him chuckle.
"Am I making you nervous?" He raised a brow, his question making you instantly turn back to him.
"You making me nervous? Don't flatter yourself, I just don't allow myself to be taken over by your little compliments that you love to hand out to every woman whom catches your eye. I don't need them from you." You responded stubbornly making him smirk, he always loved your quick remarks.
"As a matter of fact-" he slowly walked towards you, stopping right in front of you leaving you nowhere to go.
"Those compliments were especially chosen for you, My Lady." His eyes stopping at your lips before looking back into your eyes.
"There is no one else catching my eye other than the one whom is before me, but I am sure you already know that." His words catching you off guard. Anthony always found ways to flirt with you but this was the first time anything he said actually made your heart skip a beat. Quickly you caught yourself and snapped yourself out of it, who were you kidding, this man was a rake. Just as you were about to respond the sound of your fathers voice interrupted you both.
"Father!" You ran happily to him as he welcomed you with open arms.
"My dear Elizabeth," he whispered as Anthony watched with a smile, he always knew how close you were to him. He was all you had since your mother passed away at a young age.
"Viscount. How are you?" Your father stood straight as you stood beside him facing Anthony.
"Lord Jones, I am well, always a pleasure to have you." Anthony bowed to your father as you watched along, he always showed immense respect for him.
That evening during dinner you all enjoyed each other's company and laughter. A few times through out the meal you could feel Anthony's eyes on you but you would quickly look away. You never realized that your father caught Anthony's eyes on you more than once.
Once you both returned home you and your father sat in his office talking about all you've been up to with your studies.
"Elizabeth, I'm very proud of you" your father smiled at you.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure, father. What is it?"
"What do you think of Anthony Bridgerton, what were you two speaking of before I arrived?" His question making you blush.
"Nothing at all, he asked me of my studies.." you lied as you looked away.
"During supper I watched the way he looked at you as you spoke-" he smiled as he looked away.
"It reminded me of how I looked at your mother when she told her stories." Silenced filled the room for a moment as he lost himself in the memories.
"Anthony is a fine young man." He looked back up at you, as you stood silent not sure how to respond.
"Yes," you whispered although you did not very much agree with the things you knew.
"He would make a fine husband for you."
"Oh yes- I'm sorry- excuse me?" You realized what your father had said as he stood up with a chuckle.
"His father raised him right, as did I. I trust him."
"I suppose." You whispered...you couldn't deny that Anthony was raised properly. He was respectful and a gentleman to you although you knew of the few women he attempted to pursue.
Your father kissed your head good night and left you in the office alone with your thoughts. Already you struggled earlier to fight off certain thoughts and feelings Anthony had made you feel earlier that day, only for your father to make you question yourself once again.
The next morning you had planned to take a stroll with your chaperone as you usually did in the day. You had a great relationship with your chaperone Mary and considered her a friend as you both took your daily walks. On this particular day, you both came across Anthony as you decided to walk in a wooded area.
"What are the odds?" He smiled at you as he began to walk beside you.
"Not much to do with yourself today, I suppose?" You responded with a hint of sarcasm making him smirk.
"None other than join the lovely Ms. Elizabeth Jones for a walk on this lovely day." He responded smoothly making you raise a brow, your chaperone close behind as you wandered deeper into the woods.
"Is this what you usually like to do? Get yourself lost in these woods?"
"I never get lost," you responded confidently.
"I enjoy these walks away from others." You stopped at a tree filled with cherries and began to pick some throwing them in your basket.
"You pick your cherries?" He watched as you continued to reach picking a few as you walked ahead of him.
"Yes I do,"
"What if their poisonous-"
"They're not." You responded once again confidently as you turned to him.
"Do you really think I would be picking them if they were poisonous?"
Anthony chuckled fascinated by your sarcasm but more fascinated by your knowledge, he always knew how smart you were. Turning away you continued to walk as Mary stood close by at another tree collecting cherries. Anthony continued to follow you as you walked farther away until you stopped and turned to him.
"Is there a reason you're following me?"
"Is there a reason you don't want me to?" He asked with a raised brow.
"Isn't there another woman somewhere who's caught your attention?" You sighed as you continued to walk, moving further away from Mary.
"Not at all."
"Hm...quite hard to believe." You grabbed more cherries as you heard him step closer to you.
"Why are you so stubborn?"
"I beg your pardon?" His question making you look up, a playful look in his eyes.
"I am not a stubborn person at all."
"Oh yes you are, very much so." He stepped closer with his arms behind his back, his movement making you step back and turn away. Distracted with the presence of the viscount you continued to walk and had not realized what you were walking towards.
"Well I don't believe so," you responded with your chin up as you turned back to him.
"Exactly, because you're stubborn." He tilted his head looking down at you when you suddenly realized a sound slowly getting louder behind you.
It was the sound of running water...there was a river just behind you.
You felt your heart drop and Anthony was quick to notice the sudden change in your eyes, but he couldn't make out what was wrong.
"Miss Jones-" he whispered low as he took a step forward making you jump and grab onto his jacket.
"No don't move!" You yelled in fear taking him by surprise. The sound of water sounding so close behind, how could you not have realized? So distracted with Anthony Bridgerton. Anthony stood still as he looked down at you with concern.
"What is it, My Lady?" He whispered as he allowed you to hold onto him.
"There's no one behind you," he continued as you began to shake your head, looking around in a panic you searched for your chaperone.
"No, there's water. I hear it, I hear the river!" You explained with tears in your eyes without looking up at him. You hadn't realized how far you walked. Anthony furrowed his brows as he tried to piece everything together. What had you so terrified of water?
"Just please, walk back slowly I don't want to fall back," you whispered. Anthony took a moment to look behind you before looking back down at you.
"You're not close to it Miss Jones,"
"I'm not?" He could feel you shaking as you held onto his jacket tightly.
"You have my word." He assured you with sincerity. Taking a deep breath, still holding onto him you slowly turned your head and noticed, you were not as close as you thought to the water.
Oh you felt like a fool.
"I apologize," you quickly took your hands away, anxiously placing them at your side as he looked at you with curiosity.
"No need to apologize, My Lady." He could tell whatever it was, was a true fear for you.
"Are you alright?"
"I'm...fine. I...I have to go." You quickly ran around him as he turned to follow.
"Allow me to accompany you both," Anthony called out towards you as he caught up beside you.
"That won't be necessary." You responded quickly.
"Please, I insist-"
"No! I don't need nor want your company! If it wasn't for your company I would've payed more attention to my surroundings and never found myself near this river." You screamed as he stood silent when a loud thunder bolted through the area with heavy rain to follow.
"Oh great-" you sighed as rain began to pour heavily all over the two of you. Your chaperone appearing near by doing her best to cover herself.
"Please, my carriage is near by." Giving in you silently nodded and along with your chaperone took his offer for a carriage ride home.
Walking into your home you were both greeted by your father with a smile on his face before he noticed you both drenched.
"Oh no, before you both fall ill, you must go dry off. Please, the maids shall fetch you both dry fresh clothes and then you shall both join me for dinner."
Not saying a word Anthony and you both knew you couldn't deny your fathers request and did as he asked.
Sitting at the table you noticed your father excitedly looking at you and Anthony.
"I didn't know you had plans with the Viscount today."
"I didn't." You responded softly.
"She was picking cherries and I happened to come across her." Anthony explained.
"Ahh, the cherries. She's always loves picking them for me. They are my favorite." Anthony smiled at you as you looked down at your food, the things he continued to learn about you although he had already known you for long.
"I'm not so hungry father, I'm actually quite exhausted. I'd like to excuse myself please." Anthony looked over at you with some concern.
"Are you alright dear?" Your father asked with worry.
"Yes. Just tired is all." You smiled politely as you walked to him and kissed him on the head before turning to Anthony.
"Goodnight, Lord Bridgerton," you slightly bowed before walking away, Anthony's eyes never leaving you until you disappeared down the hall.
"I'm afraid I've upset your daughter, my Lord." Anthony looked back to your father who frowned.
"How so?"
"I..quite honestly am not sure. She was just fine one moment and then suddenly fear took over her completely." He whispered as he looked down remembering the look in your eyes.
"I've never seen her look this way until she realized we were near a river-"
"Mmmm..." your father nodded his head as he realized what had happened. Anthony looked up as he noticed your father understood what had happened.
"Elizabeth's mother...my dear wife passed away in a tragic accident. My Elizabeth was only nine years old when she witnessed her mother drown." Anthony looked down with guilt realizing where your fear stemmed from..
"Of course you never knew this because I promised her we'd never speak of it, a few years after the tragedy was when I met your wonderful family."
Anthony looked down in disappointment before he stood up.
"I should apologize to her,"
"You did no wrong, Lord Bridgerton. You comforted her and made sure she returned home safely. You are well in my eyes." Still he felt guilty. Anthony knew exactly what it was like to be traumatized of watching someone you love so dearly tragically die before you. Suddenly he had a different understanding to you and your way of being.
"Your father raised a fine young man, probably the only I'd trust with my daughter." A look of genuine gratitude in Anthony's eyes by his words.
Still you could hear them speaking from the top of the stairs, yet you couldn't make out what was being said. Slowly you made your way back down and quietly took a peep into the room. Anthony was standing across from your father with his hands behind his back.
"You have my word, I will always make sure your daughter is safe in my presence." Anthony's words and clear concern for you softened your feelings for a moment. You knew it wasn't his fault what happened today at all, but you weren't one who liked to show others your feelings. Anthony catching you in a vulnerable state didn't sit well with you until you realized how concerned he truly became. Your father didn't exactly have bad judgment and he didn't approve of many men for you but he always had a liking to Anthony. Maybe he had always seen what you were just beginning to see of him.
The next morning you woke up and went about your usual routine. Dressed in a purple gown, you made your way downstairs and greeted your father before notifying him today you would be off with Daphne for the day.
"Will the Viscount be present?"
"I...I'm not sure, father. I did not plan to see him."
"Hm," your father raised a brow with a smile, he was hoping to hear you would be spending more time with him.
"There is nothing going on with the Viscount if that's what your suspecting."
"That's not what his eyes tell me my dear.." he winked at you before leaving the room. It was hard to deny to yourself that you didn't like hearing how into you the Viscount seemed even after seeing you act as such a frightened fool the day before.
Enjoying your day out with Daphne, you both rode horses chaperoned close by. Speaking to one another of what you both had been up to in the time missed without seeing each other. Deciding to accompany Daphne back to her home you both found a group of men standing just outside the front door, you found it strange.
"I wonder what is going on," Daphne whispered as she walked beside you.
"I shall go find my mother, excuse me." Daphne politely left you in the parlor as you drank a cup of tea that was served to you. Quietly you placed the cup down beside you when Anthony suddenly walked in with a look you had never seen. He looked disheveled, his eyes widened, almost in some state of shock.
"Miss Jones.." he whispered as you stood up strangely.
"I..I have been looking for you. I must speak to you-"
"Lord Bridgerton if this is about yesterday, please I don't want to speak of-"
"Miss Jones," he calmly interrupted as he stepped closer to you, the closer he got the more you could see the strange look in his eyes.
"Lord Bridgerton?" You whispered.
"It's your father," your heart instantly sank.
"What's wrong with my father?" You asked with concern. The confusion and worry in your eyes broke him.
"Miss Jones, I believe your father has suffered a heart attack," your eyes widened as you stared at him in shock. A million questions flooding your mind, a heavy feeling in your chest as you placed your hand on it taking a deep breath.
"Well where is he? I must go attend to him, he must be wondering where I am-" you began to walk towards the door when Anthony stopped you leaving you more confused.
"What are you doing? I must go to my father." You insisted as you looked up at him and noticed tearful eyes as he gulped looking down at you.
"Lord Bridgerton, let me go-" you went to push past him but he held his ground.
"What are you doing?!" You yelled as your emotions began to get the best of you, in denial of what the possibility could be.
"Miss Jones...." he looked at you hesitantly.
"I'm afraid your father did not survive. I'm so sorry." He whispered as he looked into your eyes, suddenly you felt the world around you stop, you felt numb.
"Excuse me?" You spoke softly, you could barely be heard but he could see the tears in your eyes slowly begin to form.
"That's-that's impossible. I..I was just with him-" you shook your head and attempted to push him aside but he didn't move.
"Let me go see him!" You suddenly yelled, the broken sound in your voice breaking his heart.
"You're lying!" You cried out as you slammed his chest with your fists. He grabbed your arms as he struggled to find words to say. He could see the pain in your eyes, he remembered the feeling clearly.
"Please..-" he whispered attempting to hold you still.
"It's not true..it can't be true-" you cried as he looked down at you wishing he could say different. Soon Violet and Daphne walked into the room after hearing the news, Daphne with her hand to her lips as she watched how distraught you became.
"Daphne, have the maid prep a room. She is staying with us...for as long as she needs to." Violet whispered before quickly walking your way.
"It can't be true.." you whispered as you turned to Violet.
"I'm so sorry, my dear.." Violet quickly took you in her arms and comforted you as Anthony stood aside. A lump in his throat as he struggled to hold in the tears, his heart broke for you, your cries had sounded just like his mothers. He remembered those cries, the tears, the feeling he had when it happened to him.
"Come dear, let's take you to a room." Violet held onto you as you sobbed looking at the floor slowly being guided out of the parlor by her. Anthony quietly followed as the two of you went up the stairs slowly in front of him.
Laying in bed alone you could hear the whispers outside your door. Violet, Daphne and Anthony all trying to figure out what they can do to somehow ease any burden you had. They knew your father was all you truly had. After some time the whispers quieted down, you slowly stood up and put your ear to the door, complete silence. Carefully opening the door you saw no one was around, in that moment all you wanted to do was just leave the house.
It was later in the evening, it wasn't the best time for a young woman like yourself to roam off alone, let alone into the woods. Yet, during a time like this you didn't care what was right or wrong. Losing your mother young so traumatically and now your father, there was so many feelings you weren't sure how to process. Walking further and further you realized you were near the river. Not exactly sure what had taken over you, you suddenly didn't feel the deep fear you had felt at first. In that moment nothing mattered, your emotions were numb. Walking closer to the river you sat by a rock, calmly laying back on it as your eyes followed the water just as it began to rain. Oh it was cold, but you didn't care. Closing your eyes you let yourself sleep to the sound of the flowing river and rain.
Daphne had gone to check on you and quickly noticed the bed was empty.
"Elizabeth?" She walked closer to the bed and realized all your belongings were gone before running out of the room.
"Mother! She's gone!" Daphne ran inside the room making Anthony look up.
"What do you mean she's gone?" He stood up with his brows furrowed.
"She's not there, she's not in her room-"
"Where on earth could she have gone?" Violet muttered with her hand to her chest. Anthony stopped for a moment and remembered how he felt when his father died. He remembered wanting to get away from everyone, he remembered wanting to be alone.
"I know where she is.." Anthony whispered before turning to Daphne and instructing her to wait there just in case you came back first. Rushing down the stairs he ran outside, quickly taking a horse Anthony raced to where he knew you would be.
Riding through the woods he searched the trails for you, the rain pouring down heavily he turned left and right.
"Miss Jones!" He yelled loudly as he turned once again when he spotted your feet laying on the ground. His eyes bulged out as he patted his horse to race forward before he stopped at the sight of you on the ground. His heart stopped as he noticed how drenched you were from the rain, your eyes closed, he thought of the worst. Jumping off the horse he quickly ran to your side gently turning you over when you suddenly opened your eyes.
"Elizabeth.." he whispered as you stared up at him, feeling relief at the sight of you awake.
You didn't say a word, you seemed in a daze as you stared up at him realizing he said your name.
"Are you hurt?" He looked all over you to see if anything was wrong but there wasn't.
"I'm fine," you whispered making him quickly look up.
"I just...I just needed some time.." you mumbled as you pushed yourself up.
"In this cold rain, please allow me to bring you home." You quickly began to shake your head with tears.
"I don't wanna go home, there's no one there I-"
"My home, please." He put his hand out to you as he squinted from the hard rain falling on his face.
Slowly you took his hand and followed him to his horse as he bought you to his home.
Walking through the door you held onto his arm hearing a loud gasp.
"Oh dear, My Lady!" One of the maids whispered as she ran to you just as Violet came down the stairs.
"Oh my- please get her warmed up as soon as possible. Prep her a warm bath."
"I'm fine-" you insisted when you felt Anthony look down at you.
"Please Miss Jones, allow us to care for you." He looked at you with concern but certainty of what he wanted you to do. With a nod you were quickly led by the maids to a room as Violet noticed how quickly you did as her son asked.
"I'm glad she's at least listening to you, what was she thinking taking off that way?" Violet looked at her son and noticed his eyes had never left you as you walked up the stairs until you disappeared into the room. She wondered if he heard anything she said, she had never seen her son look so worried.
"Anthony," Violet called for his attention making him look her way.
"You need to warm up as well son, please before you fall ill." He once again hesitantly looked up in the direction of your room before looking back at his mother.
"I will let you know when she is settled, please go warm yourself up," she assured him as he eventually left to his bedroom. Violet watched as he walked away before looking up to your room, she wondered what had been going on between the two of you, whatever it was she had never noticed it before.
Some time had passed and Anthony was freshly changed into new dry clothes as you were. A maid had just left your room as he made his way up the stairs not wanting anyone to see him enter. Knocking on the door, he let himself in to find you sitting down on the bed staring at the ground.
"Miss Jones.." he whispered as he stepped closer, you looked up at him with sad eyes. The same look you had when he found you, the sudden fear sank into him once more, remembering how he felt when he found you on the ground. The last time he felt this kind of helpless fear was when his father died before him then he suddenly felt over come with emotions.
"What were you thinking?" His brows furrowed as he stared down at you.
"Please-" you shook your head as you stood up not wanting to hear a lecture.
"No!" He stepped closer to you face to face making you take one step back.
"Something could've happened to you! Then what? What was I to do then?!" His words taking you by surprise, his eyes looked in a way you had never seen.
"Lord Bridgerton-" you whispered as you realized he began to hyperventilate. He was so close to you, he had you backed against the wall.
"Something could've happened to you," he continued as he realized he actually thought he lost you for a moment. Anthony was coming to see that his feelings for you were much deeper than he ever thought.
"And what if I couldn't fix it, what if it was too late!" You noticed him blink back a tear.
"Lord Bridgerton..I'm sorry.." you whispered as you began to quietly cry. His eyes softening at the sight of you upset.
"I wasn't thinking, I just...I don't know but I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.." you looked down covering your face as he looked down at you. You felt his hand gently pull your hands away from your face. He felt guilty for the way he yelled at you, his worry getting the best of him.
"I didn't mean to raise my voice, I apologize," he whispered as you continued to look down and cry. You could tell he was thinking so many things in that moment yet, all he wanted to do was hold you. Without expecting it you felt him pull you in his embrace, his arms wrapped tightly around you as he held you against his chest. You didn't say a word and simply let your head lay against him. The both of you easing down with each other's touch, your hands on his chest you slowly began to pick your head up and look up at him. His eyes instantly locked with yours for a moment you didn't move as you realized just how close to his lips you were. He noticed the way you looked at his lips, making him look at yours. This wasn't the right time, he knew this wasn't the right time yet you couldn't stop. Tip toeing just a bit you gently reached up and touched his lips with yours. Your heart racing in a way you never felt, you both closed your eyes and kissed hesitantly when you suddenly heard a gasp. Quickly releasing each other you covered your lips as you realized it was Daphne standing at the door.
"Excuse me," Anthony quickly walked out of the room and was followed by Daphne.
"Brother, what on earth do you think you're doing?!"
"I don't know what you speak of, Daphne." Anthony kept walking not daring to show his face to his sister.
"I know what I saw in that room. This is not the time to court a woman let alone Miss Jones, her father just died-"
"You don't think I know that?!" Anthony unexpectedly turned staring down at his sister.
"Trust me, I know what she's feeling right now I would never dare take advantage of a woman in that state." Daphne sighed at his response, she knew her brother was better than that.
"I know you wouldn't. Our job is just too be there for her now. She needs us." Daphne continued as Anthony nodded his head.
"Of course."
That night you lay in your bed feeling so many feelings at once. You had cried so much you felt you couldn't cry any more, all you wanted was the feeling gone. Thinking of Anthony for just one small moment you were distracted from the pain. The kiss making you smile before reality once again sunk in. Your smile fading, you couldn't sleep. The thunder could be heard loudly as you stood up and decided to go downstairs. In that exact moment Anthony caught you leaving your room, he followed silently behind you wondering where you would go until he saw you step into the library. Anthony was hesitant to follow you inside, he looked around making sure no one was near before walking in the room.
Inside he found you looking out the window watching the rain pour heavily until you heard movement behind you. Quickly you turned to find Anthony standing by the door, the sight of him instantly making you let out a breath of relief.
"Lord Bridgerton," you smiled but your eyes didn't match the smile, he had never seen you look so lost before.
"Miss Jones-" he walked towards you as you stopped by the piano, eager to hear what he would say.
"I would like to apologize for earlier-"
"Apologize?" A look of confusion in your eyes.
"For what?"
"My inappropriate behavior, it won't happen again. It should've never happened." You could tell he partially didn't mean what he said.
"There's no need for an apology, My Lord." In that moment the two of you stood silent. You found him staring at your lips just as you looked at his.
"Surely you aren't regretful," you smiled as you stepped closer to him, until you couldn't get any closer.
"I definitely wasn't," you continued as you looked at his lips.
"My Lady.." he whispered, never had you acted this way with him, yet it was hard for him to ignore.
"No one knows we are here..." you whispered, he closed his eyes as he felt your breath on his lips. You knew you were exciting him. Leaning in closely you touched his lips with yours, he didn't move knowing if he did, he wouldn't be able to stop. You turned his face down to you making him look into your eyes until he finally gave in and took your lips aggressively. His hands quickly pulling you close as you wrapped your arms around him. For a moment the the two of you stopped, leaning his forehead on yours as you both stood breathless.
"Anthony," you whispered making him open his eyes and look down at you. You had never felt so out of control with your emotions before, yet for the first time you weren't trying to control them.
"Take me here," Anthony stayed serious looking down at you still trying to catch his breath. He had never seen this look in your eyes before, you were broken. You were lost and didn't know what to feel. One moment you had a guard up with Anthony now suddenly all you wanted was for him to touch you.
Anything to stop your thoughts, anything to distract you from your sadness. He stood silent for a moment not sure of how to respond. Of course he wanted to have you but he couldn't allow himself...not this way.
"Not like this.." he whispered back to you. All he could remember was what his sister said. He was to care for you and be there for you...nothing more.
"Please.." you reached behind you and began to untie your dress, surprising him as you pulled down the dress off your shoulders.
"Please don't-"
"Please, Anthony. I need you," you pushed the dress far down enough that you revealed your breasts to him and could see him instantly weaken. Never had you shown a man such intimate parts of your body before. He was hypnotized by the site of them...you took advantage and continued to kiss him. Kissing you back eagerly he suddenly picked you up and sat you on the piano as you felt his lips trail down to your neck. You moaned as he placed himself between your legs removing what you had beneath without taking his lips off you. You had no idea what this would feel like, all you knew was that it must feel good.
"Yes," you whispered excitedly as he lowered his breeches and made you feel the tip of his manhood just at your entrance when he suddenly stopped.
"What is it?" You whispered out of breath.
"I...I can't do this to you, Elizabeth," he barely managed to speak. You could still feel him against you, you knew he didn't want to stop. What kind of man would he be to take your virginity this way...yet...you didn't care.
"Please.." with tears nearly in your eyes. He was your only chance at feeling something good even if it was just for a moment.
"You're the only man I'd trust for this," you whispered looking up at him. He could see the desperation you had for it.
"I need to feel something.." you continued as you watched the struggle in his eyes, the struggle of temptation.
"No one would know.." Anthony could no longer hold himself back and without warning he plunged forward making you gasp loudly. In one hard thrust you felt him fully in you as you trembled in his arms, his lips leaning on the side of your face. You hadn't expected it to hurt at first and stood very still.
"I'm sorry-" he mumbled roughly against you as you held onto him. Your lips apart as he thrusted again making you slightly whimper. Grabbing onto the collar of his shirt you looked up at him as he continued to thrust his hips against you. Each stroke making the pain fade away, each stroke only making you more wet. Anthony had lost complete control of himself, his hand caressing the side of your neck as you moaned. You could feel his hand slowly creeping to the back of your neck just as he grabbed a handful of hair and tugged at it making you look up. He was focused, he was breathing heavily as he continued to move, you had no words. You wanted to feel what you always heard about. That explosion of ecstasy, the sensation you'd always over hear the married women speak of when that very feeling started to build within you. He watched as your eyes changed with pleasure and curiosity all at once. Trying to understand what exactly your body was feeling in that moment, he felt you tighten up around him, your nails dug into his shoulders when you let out a moan that nearly made him explode. Holding him close, your lips against his ear, the erotic sounds you made, your body shuddered against him, Anthony had never reacted so weakly to a woman's climax before. Unexpectedly he cried out leaving you confused as he buried himself in you.
"Anthony-" you whispered as he hid his face in the crook of your neck and cried out once more with one last thrust before he stood still. Neither of you said a word. Slowly he bought you down to your feet as you looked up at him trying to catch your breath. You noticed he wouldn't look you in the eyes. Quickly he turned away and adjusted his clothing, he refused to look at you...he couldn't. The man felt shameful of his actions, he felt as if he took advantage of you yet...you knew this was what you wanted.
"Anthony?" You whispered as you finished fixing your dress.
"You should get some rest, guests may come tomorrow to give their condolences. You need all the rest you can get." With those words Anthony left the room leaving you alone as he struggled to accept what he had just done. This wasn't the kind of man he was, this wasn't the kind of man he was raised to be...this wasn't what your father thought of him. The thought of your father made him sick to his stomach knowing how much he trusted him. Anthony had no idea how he could face you again living in his home. How tempting it was to have you so close, to know you wanted this...why did something wrong have to feel so good.

[SUMMARY: Anthony Bridgerton is attracted to Daphnes friend Selene whom he has promised to help find a suitor for. Never acknowledging his attraction to her until one day he physically is unable to hide his desire for her and does not know how to handle it.]
"Are you drunk?" You whispered making him once again chuckle finishing the last drop he had in his glass.
"To keep sane in a room full of men who wish to have you, absolutely."
Chapter ONE:
Anthony and Selene Chapter TWO
That evening at the ball, you did your best to act as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. As Daphne planned, men all around couldn't help but make their way to you, craving the sight of you, little did she know the affect it had on her own brother.
"Where is Anthony?" The mention of his name distracting you from your surroundings.
"I..I don't know-"
"Wasn't he there when you came out of the room?" Daphne turned to you remembering clearly that she left her brother alone in the parlor.
"I never saw him," you lied.
"How strange," just as she was to ask you another question, a man walked up to you.
It was John Smith.
"My Lady," he bowed down to you gracefully.
"My Lord," you responded alike, just as you caught Anthony walking in through the main door, a drink already in his hand.
Anthony was dreading having to see you again after what had just happened. How was he to explain any of it to you? Once he laid eyes on you, that dreadful feeling immediately turned into jealousy. John quickly bringing your attention back to him asked you for a dance. Politely you agreed and went off to waltz. Anthony stood afar watching how this man looked at you, the smirk on his lips as you innocently smiled. Each step you made causing your breasts to slightly jump out of the infamous dress you wore, Anthony squeezed the glass in his hand, he knew exactly what was crossing Johns mind. What on earth was his sister thinking having you wear this to have all these men with their eyes glued on you. As you both waltzed you reached closer to where Anthony stood, Johns eyes never leaving you.
"I bet all of the men here would only kill to have my spot right now," John spoke with a smile, Anthony hearing his words.
"What makes you say that?" You tilted your head as you danced.
"Oh, because I'm having a dance with the most gorgeous woman in the room after all." He spoke confidently, his words making you smile.
"Don't you know the right things to say," Anthony hearing your response only made him tighten his grip on the cup before chugging the rest of it in seconds. Of course it wasn't the best idea, but since what happened earlier Anthony did not know what to do with himself. Just as the dance finished, Anthony watched yet another man approach you for a dance and then another. Cursing at himself he walked towards Daphne who stood watching in delight.
"What were you thinking putting her in that dress?" He whispered leaning towards her as he kept his eyes on you.
"What? It's got the job done hasn't it?" Daphne laughed.
"Men already fell to her feet before this, now it's just more work for me to do,"
"Anthony, why don't you just let it be. She's smart at choosing." Daphne insisted.
"Neither you or her know the kind of men out there, plenty of these men I've been around to know more than you or her would ever know." Anthony explained turning back to you when he noticed you walking his way looking at Daphne. He couldn't face you in front of his sister this close, quickly he walked off leaving the ball room.
Watching as Anthony practically paced for the door you quickly followed him out not allowing him to notice. Quickly he entered a room as you looked around behind you making sure no one would notice and followed him inside. As soon as you walked in you closed the door shut behind you and found him pouring himself a drink.
"My Lord-" his head snapped up in disbelief that you were in this room with him.
"What the bloody hell are you trying to do to me?!" He walked towards you in a whisper. He knew he couldn't handle being around you with his sister in a public setting let alone face to face alone with you in a room.
"Are we not going to talk about earlier?"
Anthony sarcastically chuckled as he took yet another sip of his drink walking closer to you.
"There is nothing to speak about,"
"Why of course there is! Not to mention I've been watching how you've been staring at all who I've danced with tonight and it's not a pleasing look,"
"Forgive me darling for knowing exactly why these men are desperate to have you close tonight, I know who these men are and trust me, none of them are worthy of your existence." As he spoke the scent of liquor quickly came to you.
"Are you drunk?" You whispered making him once again chuckle finishing the last drop he had in his glass.
"To keep sane in a room full of men who wish to have you, absolutely."
"So tell me the truth," you spoke softly, your words making his eyes land directly on yours.
"Tell you the truth?" He responded calmly.
"What truth? That every time I am near you I feel weak to my core, the thought of having to find a husband for you, drives me mad. The fact that my dear dear sister suggested you wear this very dress-" his eyes uncontrollably traveling to your cleavage before he looked away. Never had you expected Anthony to have any kind of feelings for you, he was so well at hiding them.
"The fact that you just so happen to be my younger sisters dear friend-"
"So what?" You responded making him raise his brows.
"So what?! Do you have any idea how wrong that looks on my part as I promised to look after you."
"I'm not a little girl, my Lord."
Anthony stood silent, what was he to say to that, you most definitely weren't a little girl.
"How do you think I've felt hearing these men compliment you all night, not one of them expressing enough how beautiful you are, because there is no amount of words that can fully express it. You are breath taking Lady Wilson." His words making your lips part, of all the men who complimented you tonight, his made your heart flutter. He couldn't help but look at your lips as he stepped closer, giving his all to not allow himself to fall into this very tempting moment.
"Kiss me," you whispered taking him by surprise.
"Now why...-" his jaw tensed.
"Why would you say that.." he whispered before practically charging to you and pulling you against him. Instantly he took your lips with his, his lips trailed to your ear lobe, down your neck reaching your cleavage.
"My Lord," you whispered looking down at him as he kissed the soft plump feel of the top of your breast when the door unexpectedly opened. Quickly you both turned away from each other as Benedict walked in taken by surprise. He could tell he had just walked into the middle of something and raised his brows.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I um...I'll be off now." He quickly closed the door as you turned back to Anthony in a panic.
"I think he saw us," you whispered.
"I should go," you quickly turned leaving the room as Anthony stood speechless. He couldn't believe what he had just allowed himself to do, let alone drunk. This wasn't how he wanted to kiss you, this wasn't how he wanted the first time touching you to be...
Should I continue this story?

[SUMMARY: Anthony and his wife Lucinda are hosting a ball in their home, during the event the two have a quickie in his office.]
"Shhh, darling, you don't want the guests to hear us do you?"
Smut
Anthony and Lucinda
Hosting a party was something you never really looked forward to, yet being the viscountess very now and then it was your duty. Welcoming many to your home for a feast and waltz, you were in charge of getting it all organized while Anthony handled other duties. After all the hard work you watched as your guests enjoyed themselves all while you realized you hadn't seen much of your own husband all night. Making your way around the house you decided to check his work room and just as you thought Anthony was signing a few papers alone in the room.
"So this is where you hide when we have a flock of guests in the ballroom?" You laughed as you shut the door behind you making him look up.
"I'm sorry, darling. Just a few things I had to catch up on but it is all done." He smiled as you walked to him around the desk.
"Oh I feel I haven't seen you in forever," you wrapped your arms around him as he pulled your body to his.
"Can we just hide in here for a little bit?" You whispered with a smirk as his eyes glimmered looking down at you.
"Whatever my wife desires," his response making you bite your bottom lip.
"I love it when you say that,"
"Oh do you? I think I remember you telling me you loved this too.." he began to kiss the side of your neck.
"Oh yes.." you whispered when he unexpectedly picked you up and sat you on his desk.
"Anthony!" You gasped looking back at the door.
"Remember we have guests here," he continued to kiss your neck.
"Oh, I believe they can wait." He reached beneath your dress removing whatever was in his way.
"I demand time with my wife," he kissed you as he removed his breeches.
"Anthony right now? With all these people here.." you stopped yourself with a moan as he swirled his tongue on the very sensitive part of your neck.
"Any time is a good time to make love to my wife.." he whispered roughly.
"What if someone comes in?" You asked as you felt the head of his manhood poking at you.
"Oh and then they'd have to deal with me wouldn't they? No one would dare simply walk in here. I assure you." He looked down at your lips as you felt him lean in closer, his eyes practically rolling back at the slight touch of your warmth when you felt him enter you with one hard thrust.
"Yes.." you whispered as you dug your nails into his back. Continuing to push forward you could hear the desk slightly move with each thrust. Whimpering in his ear you felt him move harder and faster.
"Oh my dear wife, I've wanted you to myself all night," he whispered as he took your hand and kissed each finger.
"As I," you whispered in return making him smirk.
"Oh yes, I can feel it," he smirked. From the moment he entered you, he felt his manhood soak with your arousal.
"What if they look for me, I still have to-" he purposely interrupted you with harder thrusts that made your body jump back on the desk with each stroke. The sensations he was making you feel, your moans growing louder than you could control.
"You still have to what? Huh?" He squinted his eyes with a wicked smile as you struggled to form words with his movement.
"I...I-" grabbing onto his collar you rolled your eyes back and moaned loudly as he muffled the sounds you made with a kiss.
"Shhh, darling, you don't want the guests to hear us do you?" He whispered breathlessly as you looked up at him taken over with pleasure. Your eyes in a daze with what he just made you feel. Slowing down his strokes he pulled you closer to him, pushing your dress up higher, revealing your thighs that he loved to squeeze.
"You are so wet for me, kitten," he whispered as he couldn't help but look down and see the clear evidence on his manhood of your orgasm. The sight only turning him on more. He kissed you passionately before he sped up the pace once again. The footsteps of someone could be heard walking past the door making him look up as he moved.
"Anthony.." you panted against him.
"I don't think....I don't think I can keep quiet.."
Anthony looked down at you and felt you arch your back just as you were about to moan, his hand quickly covering your lips just as he felt himself about to burst. Looking up at him you watched as his jaw tensed up, his face turning a light shade of red, both of you reaching ecstasy together not breaking eye contact. With one last jerk of his hips he released himself inside you before removing his hand from your lips. Words you could not make out from him as he grunted against you. His body stayed against yours as you both struggled to catch your breath, footsteps could still be heard just outside the door.
"Where is the Viscountess?" You could hear someone say making you jump.
"Oh Anthony, I must go," he stood back still out of breath as he picked up his beeches. He helped you off the desk and fixed your dress before giving you one last kiss for the moment. Quickly yet discreetly leaving the room you returned to your guests with a smile, just as Anthony followed not too long after. The two of you smiling at each other from a distance, no one around you expecting what you both had just been up to in the middle of your own event.

[SUMMARY: Anthony Bridgerton is attracted to Daphnes friend Selene whom he has promised to help find a suitor for. Never acknowledging his attraction to her until one day he physically is unable to hide his desire for her and does not know how to handle it.]
"..that's when you noticed the bulge growing in his pants."
Anthony and Selene CHAPTER ONE
Sexual arousal
As usual, Anthony Bridgerton did not think any man was good enough for you. Being Daphnes bestfriend since you were little, you grew close with the entire Bridgerton family. Well, now it came time to find a husband, and there was many who lined up for you happily. Yet, Anthony seemed to have a problem with each man that you came across. Ten years ago your father had died, you had no male figure in your life and so your best friends older brother promised to play this part for you. Never did you expect him to be so stubborn in finding you your perfect suitor.
“My Lord, we can’t go on with this forever.” You sighed as he closed the door behind yet another man.
“Oh yes, if it means finding you the man you deserve we very well can.” He responded as you looked over at Daphne.
“Anthony, Lord Smith was a great option, he’s very well known in all the best ways-“
“He’s just not for her,” he responded dryly. Daphne looked at her brother strangely, not expecting him to have been so guarded of you to this extent. Anthony looked at you as you looked down in disappointment, his eyes softening up towards you.
“I just believe you deserve the very best, nothing short of it,” you looked up at him and softly smiled before he left the room.
Later on that evening you, Daphne and Violet went into town to do some dress shopping. Expressing your frustration with Anthony not being satisfied with any man that showed interest towards you made his mother frown looking at you.
“Lord Smith was rather interesting,” Violet raised a brow wondering why her son would not like him. Daphne quickly whispered to you and suggest finding a dress for the ball tonight that would be a bit more…revealing in a way. Looking at her confused, she bought you a peach like gown with a corset design that would emphasize on your breasts.
“I don’t know…this is more than what I’ve ever worn,”
“That’s the point,” Daphne whispered with a smile.
“All eyes will be on you even more than they already are!”
The idea excited you, many potential suitors would be present at the ball tonight, you knew you definitely would find someone there.
Later on that evening you went on with a maid to try on the dress for a fitting. Daphne waited in the parlor reading a book, excited for you to come down and show your new dress just as Anthony walked in.
“Brother! Wait until you see the magnificent dress I chose for Selene!” She snapped her book shut and stood up excitedly.
“This dress will have all the men of the ton just melting over her,”
“And what is that suppose to mean?” He turned to her with a raised brow. A flicker of jealousy running through him at the thought of mens eyes all over you. Anthony had been around you for many years yet it wasn’t until recently that he started to become attracted to you. He found you fascinating, interesting, and most definitely beautiful. This was something he struggled to admit to himself, feeling you were off limits as you were his younger sisters bestfriend.
“Oh you know, more options to come her way.” Daphne smiled with excitement.
“She attracts enough just on her own without any extra tricks, don’t you think?”
Daphne laughed at his response.
“Oh Anthony, you never fail to amuse me. Please let Selene know I’ll see her in the evening I completely forgot I had to help mama with a few things. She’ll be down soon with the new gown.”
Looking at yourself in the mirror you wore the peach colored gown that made your skin glow, your dark locks tied up into a braided bun, you felt beautiful. Although the dress was a bit more revealing than you imagined it to be. Already being a woman with bigger than average sized breasts, the dress only accentuated them more.
Making your way down the stairs to the parlor excited to show Daphne how the dress looked on you, you walked in surprised to see Anthony. His back to you he took a sip of his tea until he heard you and carefully placed the cup down.
"Where's Daphne? I thought she would see the dress first."
"Yes, she had to attend to help our mother with some duties at the moment-" he turned and just as he did he froze at the sight of you. His mouth practically dropped, his eyes uncontrollably landing on your cleavage.
"My Lord?" You raised a brow until you noticed just where his eyes were before he quickly looked up. Your cheeks turning a light shade of red as he stepped closer looking into your eyes.
"Is this the dress you will be wearing for the ball this evening?" He spoke softly as if he was still trying to process what was before his eyes.
"I-um yes, why is-" losing track of what you were saying you noticed his eyes once again falling to your cleavage, your waist, it was as if he lost complete control. Never had you seen him look at you this way. Noticing his breathing grow heavy, his eyes filled with lust, that's when you noticed the bulge growing in his pants.
"My Lord," you gasped in a whisper calling his attention to what you noticed making him quickly turn away.
"Leave, now!" He practically yelled as you turned and ran out of the room. Hunched over leaning on the table before him, he caught his breath. Never was he suppose to show you what you did to him, he felt like a fool. It took everything in him to ask you to leave knowing exactly what he wanted to do to you in that moment. Slamming his hand on the table he cursed at himself for losing control in front of you. What would you think of him now?
Running to your room you closed the door out of breath. No one around noticed a thing thankfully. Yet, you were still in shock with what you had just seen. Having enough girl friends, you knew exactly what you were looking at. The sight of you made Anthony Bridgerton aroused. Standing in shock, you did not know exactly how to react. All you knew was that later that evening you would be seeing him at the ball with that very same dress, how were you suppose to act after this? What would he say or do the next time he saw you?
[Sorry for the short chapter, wanted to see how this would play out! Hope you all enjoy it!]

Days had gone by and Anthony could not stop thinking about you. Violet and Daphne both found it strange that he was not going out as often as he used to the town bar. He stayed in his office trying to think of a way to find some kind of way to get you to admit the truth, some kind of way to stop Henry. He wondered what you faced alone in that house, the thought instantly making him feel an anger he never knew he could feel.
“Anthony-“ Violet showed up at the doorway making him look up.
“We have been invited to Lady Danburys home for supper,” she offered a friendly smile.
“I don’t think I will have time mother-“
“Lady Alice Eddington and the Viscount will be present,” she quickly stopped him in his tracks knowing that would change his mind. She was right, he looked at her slightly stunned.
“Lady Danbury invited us all for supper, we’ll be on our way shortly.”
In the carriage on your way to Lady Danburys home you remained silent as you looked out the window. You had not expected Henry to want to attend this event but it was nice to leave the house for once. Of course he waited for any noticeable bruising to wear off before deciding to attend a public event.
Arriving to Lady Danburys home you were surprised to see Daphne and her husband present with their son, you swallowed nervously wondering if that meant her brother would be present. So far you had noticed other couples present with their children, but Anthony was nowhere in sight.
Before supper was ready, everyone gathered out in the garden watching as a few of the children played together. Henry surprisingly excused himself from your side as you laughed watching the children run around. One of the kids throwing you a ball unexpectedly.
“Oh!” You gasped as you caught it before walking right into the game. You tossed the ball not knowing Anthony had made his way to the gathering. He watched from afar as you played along with the children with a smile he had never really seen you with before. He noticed Henry wasn’t beside you, he wondered where he was.
“I’m ready!” You yelled out to the children as they threw the ball when unexpectedly a hand came before you and caught it.
“Oh-“ you smiled until you noticed who exactly had caught the ball.
It was Anthony.
“Lord Bridgerton,” you swallowed nervously, it wasn’t that you were unhappy to see the man, but remembering how he had last seen you…you worried if he would say anything. Terrified he would make it known to Henry how he found you. He had a slight smirk across his lips noticing as he looked down at you, happiness was truly a beautiful thing on you even if it was just for a moment.
“Lady Eddington,” he bowed his head before throwing the ball back to the children.
“I should go,” you began to walk away as he stepped back and blocked your way.
“Please don’t,” he whispered.
“He will never know a thing,” he assured you with a look of sincerity making you breathe in relief. Anthony knew you would be afraid of that ever being mentioned in some way.
“Supper is served,” one of the servants called from the doorway making you feel relieved. Thankful for the distraction you smiled politely to him before going on your way. Walking ahead of Anthony, you kept your distance not wanting to upset Henry in any way. Speaking of Henry, he startled you as he showed up beside you grabbing you by your waist, tightly pulling you against him. Anthony looked up and noticed how tensed you became at the touch of Henry, he wished he could stop it in that moment.
As you all sat at the table, Anthony was across from you as Daphne sat on your left. She laughed with her son on her lap as you gently tapped the little boys nose making him smile. Once again there was the look of genuine happiness Anthony noticed on you, it always seemed to come out when you were around children. The boy continued to laugh with you as Henry began to look irritated beside you.
“Oh he’s lovely,” you smiled making Anthony do the same as he watched you adore his nephew.
“Hopefully soon it will be you and Lord Eddingtons turn,” one of the women spoke with a smile, instantly taking yours away.
“Yes,” you responded as you tried to hide your true feelings of it.
“Oh yes, we will get to work on that very soon” Henry spoke with cockiness as you sat silently beside him in embarrassment. Anthony clenched his jaw at the comment that was made, your husband had no respect for you amongst others.
“How many children would you like, Lady Eddington?” Lady Smith asked you with a smile.
“Oh I…-“
“As many as I give her,” once again Henry responded in a quite distasteful manner. The woman remained silent not expecting his response. Anthony adjusted himself in his seat and coughed loudly into his hand taking the attention away from you.
“Excuse me,” Anthony cleared his throat.
“Must be something in the air,” he looked directly at Henry with a sarcastic smile leaving him with a dirty look.
“Well it is a lovely day out isn’t it?” Violet quickly change the subject noticing the tension between her son and Henry. She understood why Anthony was defensive, he was never raised to treat or speak about a woman in that way.
Later on that evening in the parlor you and Lady Smith remained talking as the guests began to leave. Henry very close to your side as he watched and overheard any conversation you had. You stood still beside him doing your best to act as content as you could.
“Oh dear, what ever happened to you?!” Lady Smith yelled as you looked at her in complete confusion. All eyes were on you, including Anthony as she lifted up your arm and revealed a dark bruising down the side of it. Instantly you pulled it back as Anthony furrowed his brows and watched from afar.
“I must’ve-“
“She must’ve hurt herself once again. I always tell my darling wife to be careful, she can be a bit clumsy at times always wanting to do something.” Henry answered for you with a laugh. Anthony was doing his best to not lose his temper, it was as if each time Henry opened his mouth to speak, the more agitated he felt.
“Oh, my husband says the same thing!” Lady Smith laughed along as you smiled not realizing no one else laughed in the room.
“We should be on our way now, thank you so much Lady Danbury for your hospitality,” Henry smiled at her with a look that could fool only so many.
“Yes thank you, Lady Danbury,” you spoke softly saying goodbye to all before following Henry out of the room with a few others. Lady Danbury instantly turning to Violet who took a deep breath. Just by the look of it, Anthony realized Lady Danbury was aware of what had been occurring.
“So you’ve known,” Anthony almost seemed insulted as he walked towards her.
“Oh we’ve all known,”
“And nobody has done a thing?! Not a thing?!” Anthony almost yelled forgetting the other guests in the room.
“Anthony son, if she does not speak up there isn’t much one can do,” Violet explained again with a look of pity.
“So we just leave it like it is, I suppose? Let her continue to get mistreated by this monster.”
“I have a plan-“ Daphne unexpectedly interjected making her mother look her way. Simon stood beside her and proceeded to explain he has business with Henry that he wouldn’t be able to deny. A large sum of money was involved but most importantly…travel. Henry would have to travel with Simon for this business deal and the wives would not be able to come along which would make it easy for Daphne to somehow get you to speak. At least she hoped.
“I would ask her to stay in our guest house with me, far from here so she would not be afraid of his return. Maybe, just maybe then she will speak.”
“That’s an excellent idea,” Lady Danbury agreed.
When the time came, Henry didn’t deny the offer, he couldn’t, it would be the largest amount of money he’d ever seen. He had no choice but to leave you behind to travel with Simon. You were told Henry was aware of where you would be staying but truth was, he was not the truth. It was a nice relief to be away from Henry for some time in the company of Daphne and her son.
As you walked into the home you were greeted by a maid who quickly made you comfortable in your guest room. Once settled in you took a walk around the home, getting to know the place when you walked into the library that Anthony happened to be in. You gasped taking a step back as he turned to you.
“Lady Eddington,” he bowed his head to you politely.
“Lord Bridgerton, I did not know you would be here,”
“Of course. My dear sisters husband did not want his wife and child alone in an unknown part of town.” He explained.
“I see,” you placed your arms behind your back as he began to slowly walk towards you, he noticed you anxiously looking behind you.
“My sister will arrive shortly,” he assured you.
“Shall I show you around?”
“Oh that won’t be necessary, I should retire to my room for the night, thank you” you quickly left the room leaving Anthony alone. He knew you were anxious of Henry ever seeing you speak to him, but you weren’t aware that Henry was lied to and had no idea where you would be staying.
Daphne soon arrived and greeted Anthony who let him know you were already in bed. Nothing could be father from the truth. In your blue nightgown you paced around the bedroom not being able to sleep. Something didn’t feel right about this whole situation.
Deciding to go to the main balcony to get some air, you left the room and quietly made your way across the hall. Opening the doors you took a deep breath taking in the fresh air and felt a sense of calmness. The sky was clear, giving you an amazing view of all the stars.
“Wow..” you whispered in awe.
“Beautiful aren’t they?” You gasped to turn and find Anthony at the doorway. No matter how much you attempted to keep your distance from him it was like you always found your way to him.
“Yes,” you turned back as you heard him walk to the opposite side of the balcony.
“If you think they’re nice there, you should see them from here,” he called out to you as he looked up at the sky.
“Really, it’s a quite a view,” he looked at you as you turned his way.
“Come see,” he invited you with a genuine smile doing his best to make you feel comfortable.
After a moment of hesitation you slowly walked towards him and stood beside him. He watched as your lips parted as you looked up at the sky.
“How lovely..” you whispered with a smile. The state of calmness was something he liked to see on you. Looking back at him you found him unexpectedly studying your features. The look in his eyes making you blush as you looked away.
“You look beautiful, Lady Eddington,” his words taking you by surprise you looked back at him a bit in shock.
“Thank you, my Lord” you smiled softly at him.
“May I show you something?”
“Of course,” you responded as Anthony unexpectedly got behind you making you a bit nervous.
“Go ahead, stand on the block in front of you.”
“I beg your pardon?” You looked down confused noticing a brick in front of your foot.
“You will see much more, trust me. Take my hand.” Looking down at the hand he offered you, you hesitantly took it as you stood on the brick. You didn’t think it would have made such a difference but you were very wrong. Anthony heard you gasp as he stood behind you, he couldn’t help but chuckle at your reaction.
“Unbelievably beautiful…” you whispered as you looked up, you couldn’t get enough of the view.
“I could look at the sky forever,” you stopped for a moment and took a deep breath. Closing your eyes you smiled, you couldn’t remember the last time you felt this peaceful. Anthony smiled looking up at you when you suddenly opened your eyes and looked down at him.
“Thank you,” you whispered before you took his hand. Gently he helped you down brining you to his side when you looked over at him and realized you were much closer than you thought you were. His eyes caught yours and suddenly you felt as if you couldn’t move. Your hand still in his, he looked at your lips and slowly began to lean in when you suddenly gasped and turned away quickly pulling your hand away.
“My apologies..” he whispered as you stepped away from him, he didn’t know what took over him to do such a thing.
“It’s quite fine, it’s getting late I should be off to bed.” You couldn’t look him in the eye as you quickly turned around and began to walk away, suddenly tripping over a rock. Anthony quickly caught you by your waist making you whimper and tense up. A look of pain on your face Anthony was instantly concerned.
“What is it? Did you hurt your foot?” You closed your eyes as you stood straight, he noticed you pass your hand over your waist with a look of discomfort. His face instantly changing as he came to realization on what caused you pain.
“Henry,” he whispered making your eyes open.
“I should really go now,” but just as you began to walk he blocked your escape.
“Please, allow me to help you-“
“I don’t need any help,” you responded calmly.
“What you saw was a misunderstanding, that is the end of it.” You began to walk the other direction as he quickly followed.
“Just like that bruise down your arm that Lady Smith saw correct? You know since apparently you are so clumsy.” You could hear the anger in his voice.
“Stop it.” You whispered, rushing off before he caught your hand forcing you to turn to him.
“Let me bloody help you!”
“You can’t!” You finally screamed.
“I have no family but my younger sister, she depends on me. He is my only way of supporting her as long as I do as he asks. Please…I would like to go to bed.” You whispered with teary eyes making his look soften. He gently released your hand as you quickly left off to your room.
Anthony lay in bed that night with a mixture of emotions, the anger he felt seeing you in pain, knowing you would not give in to speak. He wasn’t going to give up in helping you. As he thought of you, he couldn’t help but replay the moment in his head when he almost kissed you.
You were so close to him.,
He remembered how soft your lips looked.
How badly he wanted to touch them. With a sigh he closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
The next morning you had breakfast with Daphne and her son. The three of you laughing together as Anthony walked in.
“Good morning,” his voice making you quickly look up.
“Morning brother, little Simon here is having a ball with Lady Eddington,” she laughed as her son reached for you.
“Oh, is he?” He walked over close to where you all sat together.
“Good morning, Lord Bridgerton,” you looked up at him innocently before looking back at the little boy. Doing your best to not think much of last night you made silly faces at the boy, distracting yourself of Anthony’s presence. It was hard to ignore, the feelings you had were something that was hard to understand. You knew he was going to kiss you last night and you knew you would have let him. Being in this situation, being married, married to man who mistreated you in a such a horrid way made it all so complicated. You knew you couldn’t act on these feelings, you already belonged to someone after all.
Later that evening after supper you decided to take a walk in the garden. The garden was massive and it happened to be your favorite part of where you currently stayed. Looking at all the different flowers that had bloomed you smiled when you felt someone stand beside you, you knew it was Anthony.
“Please…I don’t want to speak of my husband. I just want to look at flowers.” Anthony looked at the flowers along side you and smiled.
“Which one is your favorite?”
“I beg your pardon?” You turned to him partly confused.
“Flowers, which one is your favorite?”
“Oh, I love tulips. I always have,” Anthony nodded in response.
“Then you should see the tulip garden-“
“Where?” You asked with a puzzled expression.
“Follow me,” Anthony led the way as you quickly followed behind and gasped just as you stopped before a field of tulips.
“Oh my…what absolute beauty...” Anthony focused on your eyes as you looked at the flowers. How they glimmered with excitement, the smile on your lips. Children and flowers bringing happiness to you, he didn’t understand how such a kind woman could be given misery.
“Yes…beauty,” he repeated with his eyes on you making you look over at him. There was that same look from the night before, you could feel your heart race increase as he moved closer to you. There was no one around as he stopped right before you, his eyes glued to your lips. Parting your lips to say something, you suddenly couldn’t. He watched as your chest rose quickly with each breath before finally leaning in and kissing you gently. He pulled you in as your hands fell on his chest, the way he kissed you, the way he held you, you had never felt before. You didn’t know a kiss could feel so magical until you suddenly remembered Henry.
This was wrong, this was extremely wrong.
Instantly pushing yourself away with worried eyes you quickly turned and ran off. Anthony stood in shock at what he had just done as you ran inside to your room and locked your door shut. Squeezing your eyes shut you hyperventilated, what if Henry would find out about this? What if someone saw?
That night you knew you would see Anthony during supper. Changing into a dark teal gown you took a deep breath and left the room.
“Lady Eddington, I hope you have had a quite lovely day,” Daphne greeted you with a smile as Anthony took a sip of water.
“Absolutely,” you responded softly. He noticed you did everything you could to avoid eye contact with him. He knew that you felt the same as he did during that kiss, it was something that could not be ignored. There was an awkward silence as Daphne looked at each of you before raising her eyebrows.
“So, how was your day brother?”
“Better than expected,” Anthony responded with his eyes on you, you could feel him staring. You could feel the heat on your skin from embarrassment.
“Good to hear,” she smiled as she continued her meal. The rest of the evening was rather awkward as you sat in the presence of both Daphne and her brother. It was the strangest feeling, the attraction you suddenly found yourself beginning to have for a man.
A man that wasn’t your husband.
Daphne excused herself for the rest of the night once supper was over, you quickly stood up to leave with her when you accidentally dropped your glass of water on your dress.
“Oh for heavens sake!” You whispered to yourself as Daphne left the room.
“Here,” Anthony quickly grabbed a rag but before he could help you took it right out of his hand without looking at him.
“Thank you,” you patted yourself dry as Anthony quietly watched you.
“You can’t avoid me forever,” he whispered as he leaned in towards you.
“Oh yes, yes I can” you responded.
“I for one am exhausted, have a good night.” Quickly you walked away as he followed behind.
You could hear his footsteps clearly behind you as you rushed to your bedroom door and turned to him stopping him in his tracks.
“What on earth do you think you’re doing, Lord Bridgerton!?”
“Forgive me, Lady Eddington..” he suddenly lost track of thought as you watched his eyes catch your lips.
“Lord Bridgerton!” You whispered looking around afraid someone might see before looking back at him and becoming distracted with the way he looked at you. It was as if he put you under a spell. He stepped closer to you as you slowly leaned back against your open door and stepped into your room.
“We can not do this,” you continued as he stepped one foot into your room. You could feel the rush of excitement building in your stomach, your heart racing as you took another step back, allowing him further into the room.
“Tell me to leave and I will,” Anthony whispered as he stepped closer to you. You didn’t say a word as you watched him reached behind and close the door.
“Alice..” your heart fluttering at the sound of him uttering your name. Before you could say a word he finally leaned in, grabbing your face and touched your lips with his. Just like that, you melted into him. Wrapping your arms around him you allowed his hands to roam freely down your back. Gently pulling back he looked down at you, his thumb tracing your lips as you looked up at him.
“Anthony..” you whispered making his eyes darken. Once again taking your lips with his he kissed you passionately when you felt him begin to remove your dress. You gasped as he pulled and tugged before it finally fell to the ground, leaving you with only your undergarments. You couldn’t believe what was happening, you would’ve never imagined yourself doing something like this. He kissed your neck when you suddenly felt him begin to remove the rest of your clothing making you slightly pull away.
“Wait-“ you whispered making him instantly stop.
He looked at you for a moment as you took a deep breath and slowly began to remove the rest of your clothes. Looking him in the eye, you slowly revealed to him your bruised waist and thigh. His brows furrowed, a sudden anger rushing through him as you swallowed nervously.
“I know this isn’t what you hoped to see..” you whispered as he quickly looked up at you.
“You are beautiful, he does not take that nor anything else from you,” Anthony proceeded to pull you in for a kiss, leading you slowly to the bed. He lay you down and stood up as he began to undress himself never taking his eyes off you. You watched as the light from the candle glimmered over his bare skin. The hair down his navel leading to his manhood. He removed his breeches revealing himself to you making your lips part. Slowly walking to you, he gently began to kiss your thighs. Taking his time with each bruise, he gentle pressed his lips to your skin, before he made his way up to your breasts. You gasped as you felt his lips close around your nipple. No other man had touched you this way before, and the only one that had..never made it feel this way. You watched as he sucked on each breast making a soft moan escape your lips. His legs parting yours, his knees pushing them farther apart when you felt the head of his cock at your entrance. It was in this moment you froze, you were a married woman. Anthony could see the hesitation in your eyes as he stared down at you.
“Tell me if you want me to stop,” he whispered practically giving his all to not plunge right into you. Dear God he hoped you wouldn’t ask him to stop. Remembering everything Henry had done to you, you felt no guilt, you felt no remorse. Allowing yourself to feel what you were now feeling towards Anthony you looked him in the eye.
“Take me,” you whispered and it was all you had to say. His eyes filled with hunger as he thrusted forward almost instantly, entering you completely making you whimper as you grabbed onto him tightly. He felt much bigger than Henry, the feeling taking you by surprise. He kissed you passionately as you dug your nails into his back wrapping your legs tightly around him. The way he moved, the way he touched you, was like nothing you had ever felt before. This was wrong, all so very wrong but it felt so good. He slid in and out of you, each stroke bringing you closer to orgasm.
“Oh Alice..” He breathed quickly as he pushed himself harder each time when you soon began to feel a build up in the pit of your stomach, something you were not familiar with.
“Anthony?” You whispered out of breath, some what confused at the sensation growing intensely inside you. Looking down at you he moved quickly, he knew what was happening and he didn’t stop.
“Anthony!” You whispered in a panic not sure if what you were feeling was normal. His eyes focused on you as he ran his fingers through your hair when your body jerked beneath him.
“Anthony!” you uncontrollably arched your back closing your eyes shut as an intense explosion of pleasure burst inside you. You cried out as your body shook beneath him, body spams you could not stop. Once you opened your eyes you found him looking down at you as you attempted to catch your breath. A smirk on his lips as he remained still.
“Never felt that before, have you?”
You looked up at him innocently, stunned with what you had just felt.
“What about you?” You asked making him chuckle before he leaned in and continued to kiss you. You felt him continue to move inside you, making you moan against his lips.
Was this what making love was?
Was this how it was suppose to feel?
Of course it was.
He suddenly flipped you over to be on top of him taking you by surprise.
“Anthony wait!” You squealed not exactly sure what to do, never were you in this position before. Yet, he didn’t say a word, Anthony held on to you as he began to thrust upward rapidly. Grunting as he looked up at you, sweat building up on his forehead just as his body tensed up beneath you. Squeezing his eyes shut lifting you both off the bed he moaned roughly before collapsing beneath you. The both of you out of breath you looked down at him in shock until he finally opened his eyes. He chuckled breathlessly, gently brushing your hair out of your face and pulled you in for a kiss.
Laying beside you, he was face to face with you caressing your shoulder.
“What’s wrong?” Anthony’s question made you look up at him with a sigh.
“Now what?” You whispered.
“I’m married to Henry,” Anthony’s jaw clenched just at the mention of his name.
“My sister-“
“I will help you and your sister, I will get you out of this.” He spoke with sincerity. He caressed your face gently before he stood up from the bed and began to dress himself.
“I wish you could stay,” you whispered as you sat up in bed covering yourself with the silk sheets. Your words making him turn to you, the sight of him still shirtless making you melt.
“As do I, I promise soon enough.” Without saying another word he finished dressing himself and left the room.
Still in shock with what you just allowed to happen, you lay staring at the ceiling. Your eyes soon feeling heavy, you fell into a deep sleep.
The next morning Daphne rushed to her brothers room with a letter in hand, it was Simon.
“Brother, they are returning sooner than expected. It could be this very evening.” Daphne explained in a panic as Anthony took the letter and read it. Henry originally thought Daphne and you were staying in another guest house with chaperones present, he had no idea that you were in another far part of town with Anthony under the same roof. You of course had no knowledge of what he knew, it was for your protection.
“We need to leave immediately-“
“We can not leave yet, she has not said much on Lord Eddington,” Anthony lied knowing he had seen the bruises. He saw enough, yet his sister nor anyone could know what happened the night before. He needed to find another way to expose Henry without ruining your reputation.
“If Lady Eddington doesn’t admit to it before the evening, there is nothing else we can do.”
“Admit to what?” The sound of your voice instantly making them turn to you down the hall.
Both of them too stunned to speak.
“Admit to what?” You repeated as you stepped closer to them.
“Lord Henry doesn’t know where you are-“ Anthony began to explain leaving you with a puzzled expression.
“What do you mean?”
“He believes you are in town, alone with Daphne and several chaperones. He is not aware how distant you truly are nor who you are with.”
Looking at Daphne in pure confusion you shook your head.
“Why would he think that?”
“It is what I told him,” Anthony responded.
“Anthony-“
“Please, let me explain-“
“You don’t understand! He’s going to think I know, he’s going to think I knew of this lie and-“
“He’s not going to do anything to you, we will not allow him, I will not allow him,” Anthony insisted just as Daphnes son could be heard crying from the room. Daphne quickly ran off leaving you with her brother who watched as your look of confusion turned to hurt.
“We bought you here because we wanted to help you-“
“How!?”
“We knew you wouldn't feel safe speaking of such things knowing he would be around. We all planned this, we wanted to make you feel safe enough to admit to us what he’s done, we just wanted to help you.” For a moment you stood silent looking away before taking a deep breath.
“So is that what last night was about?” You whispered as you looked up at him, your words making his brows furrow.
“Making sure I became comfortable enough to trust you, was sleeping me with me apart of the plan?”
“Absolutely not!” He spoke with clear sincerity in his voice, yet he could still see the uncertainty in your eyes.
“Do you think me falling in love with you was apart of my plan to simply help you?!” He leaned in with a whisper.
Falling in love? His words took you by surprise.
“Brother, we must go. Immediately!” Daphne yelled across the hall before you turned and quickly left to your room, what were you to say in that moment? Daphne was in a panic hoping you would all make it back to town before Henry arrived. In tears you packed your bags, disappointed in yourself. What were you thinking? How could you have allowed yourself to risk your reputation this way? Now in love with a man that wasn’t your husband.
The carriage ride back to town was silent. Anthony hated that you would not look him in the eye, there was so much he wanted to express, so much he needed you to understand. Your nerves also getting the best of you, terrified that Henry would suspect anything at all.
Once you all arrived Anthony helped both you and Daphne get settled in with your luggage. Henry and Simon would be arriving at any moment to the guest house and you all did your best to look as settled in as possible.
Just as you walked back into the living room you gasped as you found both Henry and Simon entering with their luggage. Daphne soon appearing with her son running towards Simon.
“Aren’t you happy to see me?” Henry spoke with slight cockiness as you gave him a smile you didn’t mean.
“Of course,” you walked towards him to greet him as he pulled you in for a kiss. Wondering where Anthony was you panicked as he pulled away.
“Shall we retire to our rooms for the night?” Henry asked with a grin.
“Yes,” you whispered just as you walked beside him up the stairs. Where could have Anthony gone? Was he aware they had returned?
Henry opened the door for you to the room and to your shock you found Anthony putting your luggage in the closet.
“Anthony!” You gasped quickly covering your mouth as both Anthony and Henry turned to you.
“Anthony?” Henry looked at you in a way you had never seen.
“And what the bloody hell are you doing in our room?!” Henry’s temper was the worst you had seen outside of the home, never did you think he’d get this way in front of anyone else.
“I can explain-“ Henry suddenly turned to you and grabbed you by your throat slamming you against the wall. Anthony saw red, charging towards him he quickly put him in a headlock making him release you. Coughing you turned away hiding your face as Henry tried to fight off Anthony. The two of them struggling against one another when Anthony finally released him allowing Henry to face him.
“Come on, man to man,” Anthony spoke out of breath as they both prepared to fight.
“It’s pleasing for you to strike a woman isn’t it? Thinking you can get away with it.” Anthony swung and struck him across the face making him stumble back. Once again the two charging towards each other as you stood back.
“What is going on here?!” Daphne appeared at the door as Simon ran in and broke the two men apart pulling Henry away.
“You!” Henry yelled pointing at you.
“You’re done, you and your sister can rot for all I care-“
“Oh you won’t have to worry about her or her sister. I assure you that.” Anthony stepped in his face confidently.
“They will be very well taken care of-“
“Yeah, by who?” Henry began to laugh as he was held back.
“By me.” Daphne looked at her brother in confusion and shock as you stood aside and watched Henry lose complete control of what he thought he would never lose control of.
“Get him out of here,” Simon dragged him out as you remained silent in shock.
“Are you alright?” Anthony ran to you check your throat.
“I’m fine, perfectly fine,” you assured him as you looked at Daphne behind him. He turned to her and knew she would have millions of questions.
“I will talk to you and tell you everything you want to know, please let me just-“ she interrupted him with a genuine smile.
“Sure, brother. Take your time.” She left the room and closed the door, before you could say a word Anthony grabbed your face and kissed you.
“I will never allow anything to happen to you for as long as I live, I’m sorry for everything you have ever endured before this,” tears welled up in your eyes, you could feel the true passion and sincerity in his words.
“I love you, Anthony Bridgerton.”
“I love you, Alice Bridgerton.”

Anthony and Julianne PART TWO smut
How could he give into temptation twice?
Where the hell did this man come from and why on earth was his sister suddenly playing match maker?
Losing track of time, you hadn’t even realized just how late you were. Had that much time passed since that night?
Swallowing nervously you stood up and proceeded to call your chaperone to help you get ready for the evening.
Wearing a deep shade of purple silk, you were excited for Anthony to see you tonight. Regardless of the disappointment you felt with him, how could you not want to see him. Unfortunately after the realization that you may be with child you did not think it would be a good idea to see him. There was only so much that you could hide and eventually you felt others would notice the way he looked at you, the way he spoke to you. You knew you would be ruined once the news of you carrying a child would come out but you couldn’t allow yourself to the be the reason the Bridgertons would be ruined. Daphne was all you could think of, your bestfriend. As hard as it would be, you decided it would be best to keep your distance from Anthony.
At the ball you greeted Lady Danbury and many others, the Bridgerton family had not yet arrived. After some time, leaving the room you looked behind you making sure you hadn’t missed them. Doing your best to keep track of where they might be so you could avoid where they were, distracted in your thoughts you gasped as you ran into someone.
It was Anthony….of course it was.
“Julianne..” he spoke low as you instantly moved back and took a deep breath.
“My Lord-“
“My Lord?” Confusion in his eyes but before you could respond, you were so thankful for a distraction from Daphne.
“Just who I wanted to see!” Daphne smiled with her husband beside her and another man you’ve never seen before.
“This is Simons cousin, Lord Willington whom I wanted to introduce you to.” A handsome man dressed in burgundy stood just beside Anthony with a smile on his face.
“A pleasure, Lady Robinson” Anthony watched as the man took hold of your hand and bought it to his lips. The sight before him catching him completely off guard.
Who the hell was this man?
With a smile you greeted the man when he unexpectedly asked you for a dance. Anthony looked at you waiting for your response before you eventually took his hand and was off. Of course you couldn’t decline, a woman could never decline a dance unless she was already reserved for another.
“Oh I think he is absolutely lovely for Julianne” Daphne whispered over to her brother who watched the two of you from afar. Something he was not used to feeling began to eat him.
Jealousy, was it?
With a look of disapproval he watched as the two of you danced.
Where the hell did this man come from and why on earth was his sister suddenly playing match maker? He couldn’t stop thinking of so many things at once, most of all, why did you address him with anything other than his name? Never had you addressed him in this manner. As if he was a stranger, as if he hadn’t just had you in a way no man had ever touched you before.
“Anthony, why don’t you ask one of these lovely ladies for a dance?” Violet appeared beside him, his eyes never left you as you danced all the way to the other end of the room.
“I’d rather not, mother” Anthony replied, his mother noticing that he was distracted. Following his eyes, she spotted you with Philip and stood confused on why he would look at you in such a way.
“Lord Willington is a charmer, isn’t he?” She smiled staring in his direction as Anthony turned his way to his mother.
“I suppose he is, excuse me mother” Anthony walked off to the hall in clear annoyance. Racing back and fourth he walked into a parlor and slammed the door shut.
Dancing with Philip wasn’t all so bad, not until you suddenly began to feel the room spin around you, thankfully the music coming to an end. With a smile you thanked Philip for the dance before quickly excusing yourself out of the room. Walking into the hall you practically fell onto the wall before you stopped yourself and took a deep breath. Finding the first door in front of you, you walked in and quickly turned to lock the door shut as you caught your breath.
“Julianne?”
It couldn’t be.
Your eyes sprung open as you stood up straight and slowly turned around. There he was, as handsome as ever. Anthony was just a few feet away from you, your nerves making you take another deep breath.
“Are you alright?” He took a step closer as you took one back.
“I am doing just fine. I must go.” Just as you turned Anthony’s voice stopped you.
“Please don’t.” It was like the sound in his voice some how made everything feel lighter. The dizziness had gone away and you felt you could breathe again. Slowly you turned back around to him as he hesitantly moved closer to you. The sight of your beauty made him lose his train of thought. He was silent as he took another step forward, his eyes tracing your every feature, the deep purple dress making your skin glow.
“Lord Bridgerton-“
“Please” he almost seemed hurt by the sound of you calling him in this way. He stopped right before you, practically towering over you, his lips close to your forehead. Closing your eyes softly you felt goosebumps through out your body at the gentle tease of his lips touching your skin. Anthony had wanted to see you to ask for your forgiveness, he was ready to apologize in every way he could. But the second he saw you, this hunger took over him, this passionate feeling towards you he had never felt with no other before. Slowly you looked up at him and saw as his eyes fell to your lips. He remembered when he kissed you, the sound you made, the way you felt, but he couldn’t do it again. How could he give into temptation twice? You had no idea how strongly he yearned for your touch in that moment. Then he looked into your eyes and was instantly lost in them, he couldn’t hold himself back any longer. Being alone in a room with you so close…he knew he couldn’t win this fight. Roughly he pulled you to him, his other hand on the side of your neck as he locked his lips with yours. The feel of Anthony made you forget of any worry or fear you had. Kissing him just as eager you felt him pick you up and sit you on the book shelf against the wall. You felt his hands beneath your dress as he pushed it up against your waist. It was happening again and so quickly but you were just as tempted as he was. He removed anything in between his skin and yours, placing your legs on his shoulders making you gasp. The tip of his manhood poking at your entrance, he was out of breath with his lips close to yours.
“Say my name” he whispered roughly. Looking up at him, you moved your lips to say exactly what he wanted to hear.
“Anthony,” you whispered when he plunged forward with all his strength making you let out a scream. Digging your nails into his back you moaned as he pushed you up against the wall with each thrust. How were you suppose to stop this? Never had you felt something so good like this before. Anthony turned into someone else when he was around you, the ache he had for you he couldn’t explain. He moved quickly as he heard your moans only get louder. The music just outside the room loud enough to cover your screams. You held onto him for dear life as an explosion of ecstasy took over your body. Trembling against him he looked down at you, watching as pleasure took over. Never had he seen anything so beautiful.
“Do you have any idea what you do to me, Julianne?” He whispered breathlessly as he continued to move when suddenly there was a knock on the door.
“Anthony, are you in here?” His brother Colin was on the other end making you gasp.
“Just a moment-“ he yelled back, his voice sounding as if he was in pain as he thrusted hard.
“Are you alright?” Colin yelled back through the door. A moan escaping your lips making Anthony quickly place his hand over your lips.
“I’ll be right there!” Sweat dripped down his forehead as he squeezed his eyes shut and unexpectedly pulled out turning away from you. Hunched over holding onto the couch, he let out a low groan, he was out of breath before turning back to you. He had pulled out this time, you wondered why he hadn’t the first but had you known the control you had over his body, you wouldn’t have questioned it. Gently carrying you back down to your feet he quickly grabbed his belongings and adjusted his clothes.
“Wait a bit before leaving this room,” Anthony fixed himself up, wiping the sweat off his face before unlocking the door and letting himself out. Covering your lips once again in shock how quickly things happened, you stood in silence. No part of you regretted it. Waiting for some time to go by as he said, you made sure your dress and hair was appropriate before going back to the ball room.
The second you walked in you were found by Daphne and of course Philip beside her. He invited you for a walk to the garden unexpectedly. Your mind still lost in what had just occurred, you did not know what to say.
“Of course, my lord” you blurt out regretfully as Daphne grinned with excitement. Little did she know her brother just had you pinned against a wall moments earlier. Philip had you take his arm as he led you outside, the two of you instantly catching the attention of Anthony on the other end of the room. The feel of jealousy almost immediately rushing through him, he couldn’t help but follow you both out into the garden.
Anthony didn’t exactly know how to handle the situation or his feelings for that matter. After some time passed, the sound of your laughter took him by surprise. What was so funny? He turned around and found you and Philip walking to the other end of the garden, how far was he trying to take you? Surely the man was not trying to be alone with you, Anthony would not have allowed that. His brows furrowed until the two of you stopped just before turning the corner. A smile on your lips as you looked up at him, Anthony wondered what he could’ve possibly been expressing to you when suddenly your face changed. A look of disgust, a look of discomfort as he saw you cover your lips and run off. Anthony stepped forward not caring who would hear or see him, what the hell did he say to you?
“What did you do?” Anthony charged towards Philip as others looked in his direction, Daphne watching in confusion.
“Nothing at all!” Philip responded seeming confused himself.
“You must’ve said something for her to run off-“
“Brother, what is going on?” Daphne appeared between the two men as Anthony looked at Philip as if he was ready for attack.
“Lady Robinson fell ill and ran off, I did not say a thing to her.” Philip explained as Daphne noticed just how upset her brother was. Thinking he must’ve just been defensive as she was a very close family friend.
“It’s alright brother, I will check on her.” Daphne assured him before running off herself to find where you might be. After a few minutes she found you hiding behind bushes vomiting, thankfully no one around.
“Julianne?” Daphne watched as you slowly stood up straight and wiped your lips.
“Oh dear, are you alright?”
“Yes-I…I don’t know it came so suddenly” you explained as you caught your breath.
“Perhaps we should accompany you for your ride home? I don’t want your father to worry.”
“I suppose so” you agreed still not feeling your best.
Daphne accompanied you with her husband along to the carriage, Anthony appearing along for the ride. Sitting in silence beside Daphne, you both sat across Anthony and Simon. Taking a deep breath you looked out into the night, distracting yourself the best you could. How were you suppose to act like Anthony didn’t just have his hands all over you. Anthony did his best to not keep his eyes on you for long not wanting anyone to notice. How was he suppose to ignore that you were sitting in the very spot that the two of you were intimate in the first time. The thought only making you feel more anxious, you could feel the tension in the silence.
“How are you feeling now, Julianne?” Daphnes voice breaking the silence making you turn to her.
“Oh much better, I don’t know what came over me” you laughed nervously.
“Oh I remember when I used to get like that every morning and evening, I use to become very weak when I was expecting.” Her words instantly making you freeze. Anthony’s eyes lighting up as he immediately looked your way.
Was this a symptom for carrying a child? What on earth would you know? The sudden silence in the carriage as you noticed with the corner of your eye the way Anthony couldn’t help but look back and fourth. You couldn’t look him in the eye, you wouldn’t allow yourself to do it.
Just as the carriage stopped before your home, Anthony quickly stood up and offered to help you out. Daphne not thinking much of it as her brother was always a gentleman and knew you had not been feeling well. Daphne and Simon waited in the carriage as Anthony took your hand as you stepped down. He offered you his arm and without looking at him you took hold of it walking up the steps of your home.
“How long have you been feeling like this?” He whispered to you as he looked ahead.
“I don’t know…but I’m perfectly fine now.” Your response held a bit of pride and stubbornness.
“When were you going to even tell me you felt this way?!”
“There was nothing to tell!” You whispered back stubbornly.
Anthony looked over to you but just as he was about to speak your father opened the door.
“Julianne…Lord Bridgerton,” your father greeted you both with a smile. Anthony nodded with a smile as you walked towards your father.
“Thank you for bringing my daughter home safely tonight, I know I can always trust a Bridgerton.”
“Of course” Anthony bowed his head with guilty eyes before turning back to the carriage. He had known your father since you were young, he knew he was trusted yet he felt he no longer deserved the trust.
Sitting in his office late at night he was distracted from his thoughts with a knock on the door. It was Daphne, he could tell she knew something was bothering him but she couldn’t tell exactly what.
“Now brother, you know I always know when you are not well,” she began.
“I know you have a lot of responsibility with this family since father died but Simon can also help you-“
“Everything is just fine.” Anthony looked up at her with a smile she could see right through before he continued to write. Daphne knew how stubborn her older brother could be to admit things, especially feelings. There was a moment of silence before she spoke again.
“I think Julianne is with child,” Daphne suddenly blurt out making Anthony look up in shock.
“I beg your pardon,”
“I watched her today…she reminded me of myself when I was expecting..” she looked down as Anthony was at a loss for words.
“I don’t know what man would take advantage of her innocence that way and then leave her like that,” he could feel the guilt in his sisters use of words, God knows he didn’t want to just leave you like that.
“Has she told you she is?” Anthony looked up with concern in his eyes.
“No, I suppose she will tell me when she is ready. I will just be as supportive as I can possibly be.” Daphne explained. Anthony wondered just how supportive she would be if she knew the truth. Her brother had impregnated her best friend.
“I should invite her to dinner again in a few days, she always enjoys herself here. She must be terrified of what her father would say, he can be a very tough man to deal with, especially when it comes to her.” Daphne sighed before leaving the room and leaving Anthony with his thoughts. He couldn’t imagine how terrified you must’ve felt, he had to find a way to speak to you of this without being suspicious.
Each day you felt sick, you didn’t know how your father never realized it. Maybe staying in your room every morning didn’t concern him, either way you were glad there wasn’t any questions asked. A few days later you received a letter with an invitation from Daphne..another dinner. Pressing your lips together you couldn’t help but remember what occurred at their last dinner. You couldn’t deny an invitation, Daphne would only find it strange if you did. How were you to hide not feeling well? Daphne would notice something for sure if she realized once again you were not well.
Arriving at the Bridgerton home, you took a deep breath as you were escorted to wait in the library. After a short period of time, Daphnes voice made you turn with a smile.
“I am for one famished, shall we eat?” You nodded and accompanied her to the dining room. Truthfully, hunger was the last thing on your mind, you could barely keep anything down.
Sitting down at the table beside Daphne, in walked the rest of the Bridgerton family, including Anthony of course. Immediately you felt his eyes on you as he sat just across.
“Good heavens, Julianne. Are you alright?” Violets voice made you look up a bit confused.
“You are awfully pale.” She explained, Anthony’s jaw tensed as he looked at you. You did look pale and weakened, he noticed it himself the second he walked in.
“Oh no-“ you laughed nervously.
“I am just fine, maybe I did not get enough sleep last night.” You lied to his own mother. Daphne and Anthony both having a face of suspicion, while none noticed it on the other. Violet smiled but felt something was more wrong than simply not having enough sleep. Dinner arrived and as the servant went around the table serving each plate, the smell of it made you sick to your stomach. Anthony instantly noticed the look of discomfort on your face as he sat forward with focus and concern.
Breathe deeply Julianne.
Taking another deep breath you felt the nausea slowly go away.
“Are you alright?” Daphne whispered noticing your movement beside her.
“Yes, I’m fine” you insisted with a smile, she wished you would just be honest, she knew exactly what you were feeling.
As everyone ate you could still feel Anthony’s eyes on you, you didn’t understand how no one noticed. The sudden wave of nausea hit you again and this time it was much stronger. Anthony tensed up as you covered your mouth and closed your eyes.
“Excuse me- I..excuse me-“ you quickly stood up and rushed out of the room as Anthony and Daphne stood up at the same time leaving their mother confused.
“I will check on her sister, please, your family is present.” Anthony gestured to Simon and the baby before running off in your direction. Daphne hesitantly sat down as she was watched her brother run off.
Outside in their small garden you leaned against the wall hunched over when you heard someone come from behind.
“Julianne..” Anthony came running, your heart sinking at the sound of his voice.
“I am fine, I just-“
“Like hell you are, woman!” Anthony whispered in frustration.
“Here, take my arm” he suggested but you shook your head in silence and oh, you wished you had not done that. Everything seemed to be turning around you and Anthony noticed you stumble to the side. That’s when you felt what you figured to be his arm around your waist. Anthony stood beside you helping you gain some balance.
“I am fine-“ you insisted as you took a deep breath.
“Why must you be so bloody stubborn-“
“Why are you acting like you care?!” You unexpectedly snapped back at him.
“The fact that you most very likely may be carrying my child, I will not ignore this.”
“You do not have to worry of that, Anthony. It doesn’t concern you.”
“You are mad if you think this doesn’t concern me.” He responded in a tone of disbelief.
“I will not be the reason your family is ruined! Please.” You practically begged of him.
“So what do you suppose I do, Julianne? Act like nothing ever happened in that carriage or during that ball?!” Your cheeks turning a shade of red as you remembered the events of those two nights.
“Isn’t there another woman around for you to charm, nothing is going to happen between us right now so you can go.” Anthony looked at you in utter shock and confusion.
“I beg your pardon” you had exhausted yourself with what you had just said and stood in silence. Anthony felt somewhat insulted that you only assumed he wanted to sleep with you but then again what else were you to assume with what has happened. Before anything else was said, you both could hear Daphnes voice in the distance.
“Oh dear God..” she ran up to you both noticing how weak you were.
“I think I should be on my way now, I’ll go home.” You whispered as you still felt Anthony’s hand on your waist holding you up.
“Nonsense, you will stay here till you are well” Daphne insisted. She knew there would be no way for you to hide this from your father for long, she knew how your father would react.
“I can’t-“
“Yes you can, Julianne. I will notify your father, please. You can stay in our guest room for some time, I will be here with Simon.” You had no idea but your best friend already knew what was going on, for the most part.
“Ok,” you whispered making Anthony and Daphne relieved that you allowed them to help.
Anthony could feel you trembling as you began to walk before you stopped once again. He knew how weak you felt once he noticed you grab on to his collar. Without saying a word, you gasped as Anthony picked you up in his arms and carried you to the guest room. There was no energy for you to fight it. Daphne led the way as one of the maids gasped rushing to prep a room.
Anthony carefully lay you in bed before backing away to allow the maids to take care of you. His eyes never leaving you as he watched Daphne place her hand to your forehead. Your eyes opened as you looked around when suddenly you began to cry, fear settling in.
“Julianne, it’s ok. You can stay here for as long as you need to,” fear and relief all at once that you wouldn’t have to hide from your father everyday.
“I was the same way when I was with child-“ she whispered, her words making you look up as she gave you a look confirming she knew. A look of comfort that you needed. Anthony watched from the door as you cried looking away. Never had he seen you in such a vulnerable state, it broke his heart. The man felt at fault.
“I don’t know what I’m going to do,”
You whispered.
“Remember we are all here to help you, you will always have us no matter what.” She assured you in a soft voice.
“Does he know?“ Daphne carefully asked, referring to whomever it was who impregnated you, not knowing the man who did was standing right behind her. Anthony rubbed his hand over his lips as you looked away.
“I suppose,” you whispered.
“Who was it, Julianne?” You looked up at her at a loss of words, Anthony staring at you pressing his lips together as you began to shake your head.
“I can’t, Daphne..” you whispered with teary eyes.
“It’s ok,” she assured you rubbing your arm as she looked at you with pity before she stood up. Leaving you with the maids to help you get comfortable she walked beside Anthony at the door.
“Just as I thought, she is with child,” Daphne whispered as they both looked at you.
“So she is staying?” Anthony asked with a bit of hope.
“Of course, her father could not know of this. No one can.” And with that Daphne walked away, leaving Anthony with a feel of a heavy weight on his chest. He was a man of honor, a man with respect, his father taught him better than this. Anthony was going to be sure you were well taken care and that he would be around whether you wanted him to be or not.

Hi! I saw you were taking requests and I thought "why not?". I have never requested anything before, so if I'm being too specific or not specific enough, I'm sorry 🥺 Anyways, on to the request: how about Anthony Bridgerton x reader where they are in a marriage of convenience, like AB wanted. However, reader is in love with him. She tries to get him to warm up to her by showing affection, act of kindness (like bringing him tea and then giving him a quick kiss on the cheek), etc. But when she overhears smth he says, she decides to quit all of that, giving up hope. When she does, Anthony realises he has become reliant on her affection and he has feelings for her?
Wow this is so long, I'm so sorry. I hope you can write smth about this. Thank you ❤️
Thank you for sending in a request!! I can write this, is there a name you would like me to use?
