So I’m crazy anxious waiting for the 16th to come around...

I noticed a lump under my left boob (lmao) about a month ago and it was really small so I assumed it was part of my rib. Then last week I noticed it again, but a lot bigger and decided to contact my GP just in case after loads of googling on what a lump in the boob could be (assuming it was nothing). GP contacted me back and I went over there and she felt it.  She then put through an “urgent referral form” for breast clinic and I have to go there on the 16th for a biopsy??

I’ve done reading on the breast clinic page and I’m really hoping it turns out to just be a cyst bc then it can be drained and it’s nothing but the BRCA2+ gene runs in my mum’s side of the family so I’m a bit NORVOUS just bc idk what the outcome is gonna be and I did not like the title of the referral being “urgent referral - suspected cancer”. 

Told myself I wasn’t gonna let myself get nervous, but now there’s only a week until the appointment it’s really been creeping up on me. The GP said she was concerned bc the lump is hard and visible?? Honestly yeah just hoping and praying it’s a cyst D:
