He peers over the back of the couch he had been lounging on. He may or may not have been dozing off on there, really.

Oh, it's just Thursday and ...a baby?

"Huh. I didn't know you've got a kid. Or like, a family." Or rather he never really wondered about it. It wasn't like Thursday had ever asked if he had any family of his own anyways and it had simply never come up in their interactions.

Antares is now leaning over the back of the couch, knees on the cushions. He detaches the mouthplate of his helmet in some attempt to at least make himself less impersonable.

Do you listen do different songs for Antares than you do to Fivey? Also different songs for the units as well?

depends, i kinda have some songs i keep going back to because it helps me write and not because it fits any particular character

but sometimes the music i listen to does depend on the muse.

Like, Sleep Walking Orchestra and Old Lace works well for writing Antares in particular. While Out Of Body State and All For One Forever works well for Fivemind specifically. For Chirptune I go for 8bit covers of tokusatsu openings . Like I cannot write Fives along with Sleep Walking Orchestra and I can't write Antares with Out Of Body State lol

[ 14 ] a dense, foggy planet with oversized plants (something for Ingvar? Also: hello!!!)

A lone automaton trudged through the forest. A tarp was hung over their shoulders in a makeshift cloak that obscured a bladed arm. Ferns with fronds far longer than a human was tall hung over their head. It was not helping the already low visibility caused by thick fog.

They needed to get back to base soon, or at least figure out how to. While the unit was not even close to running out of energy, the possibility of that was inevitable if they're going to be out here for long. Wherever they were they, they couldn't get a signal here. That is, not counting the connection between the body and the CPU.

An exposed optic that glowed red through the fog continued scanning as far as its surroundings allow it. Barely, just barely, they could make out a shape larger than them, but decidedly not another oversized tree. Could be a landmark. Red One quickened their pace towards the shape.

i think we should start revealing what we listen to while writing and stuff , it could be fun

My muse just put their hand inside a mystery box. What do they find? Send 'Mystery Box 🎁' along with the item inside the box for my muse's reaction

It's been almost an hour and yet the mechanical bird was still at it, pulling out box after box from the boxes. She was transfixed. The room was half filled with boxes, some stacked upon one another but many just haphazardly tossed into messy piles.

A door opens...or at least tried to. It was blocked by the sheer amount of box cluttered up before it. Chirptune opens another box.

realised that since, by default, i mostly imagine fantasy au fivemind as like a magically animated suit of armor theres probably less need to consider things like temperature regulation (like in default verse ) unless said enchantment is exothermic in nature (im going to say its not )
