How to Build A Successful Nation
It is said that every nation which has following of the four things, its inhabitants are protected from tribulations: A just ruler who does not oppress (them), An ʿālim (ie: scholar) who is upon al-hudá (ie: guidance). Mashaykh (ie: scholars) who enjoin the good, And (scholars) who forbid evil.

Code of Conduct
ʿAbd Allah b. Sahl al-Rāzī reported that he heard Yaḥyá b. Muʿāḏ say: أَخْبَرَنِي بِكْرَانُ بْنُ الطَّيِّبِ الْجُرْجَرَائِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الرَّازِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ مُعَاذٍ الرَّازيَّ، يَقُولُ: “Let al-muʾmin (ie: the believer) have three assurances from you: “ ليَكُنْ حَظُّ الْمُؤمِنِ مِنْكَ ثَلَاثةٌ: If you cannot benefit him then (at least) do not harm him, If you cannot delight him then (at least) do not cause him grief, If you cannot praise him then (at least) do not criticize him.”

The Best People In Order
I heard Yaḥyá say: “In this ummah, after the Prophet ﷺ, is Abū Bakr (as the most superior and virtuous), سَمِعت يحيى يَقُول خير هَذِه الْأمة بعد نبيها أَبُو بكر Then ʿUmar, ثمَّ عمر Then ʿUthmān, ثمَّ عُثْمَان And then ʿAlī (may Allah be pleased with them all). This is our position and this is our school of thought.”

Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said:
“The entire dunyā is a month of fasting for the muttaqīn,
and their ʿīd al-fiṭr is the day of meeting their Lord.
And most of the days of fasting have already passed,
and the ʿīd of meeting is swiftly approaching.”
Laṭāʾif al-Maʿārif 1/38

Upon the authority of a man from the companions of the Prophet who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] say:
❝Fasting the month of patience [Ramadan] and three days of each month removes 'Wahar' [malice, enmity, deceit, perplexity, hatred and anxiety] from the chests.❞

Imam Ahmad رحمه الله stated:
"If a person sees his father upon a matter he dislikes, inform him without being harsh, ill-mannered or stern in his speech to him.
If he cannot do this he's to leave him alone, for the father is not like the stranger."

Imām Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) writes:
If the Night of Qadr was some night during the entire year, I’d stand in night prayer the entire year to get it. So what do you suppose should be done for merely ten nights?

It is reported that ‘Abdullāh b. Masʿūd (Allāh be pleased with him) said:
If I had ten days left to live, and I knew I would die by the end of them, and I had enough time to get married, I would get married for fear of temptation (fitnah).
Sa’īd b. Mansūr, Al-Sunan article 493

Ibn al-Jawzi (رحمه الله) said:
