dude ever since tennocon, my destiny interest just vaporized djfhhvhxjd

it also doesn’t help I don’t have access to either games so I’m just. kinda. in withdrawal o-|-<

I mean I do have warframe mobile 😏 but it’s a pain to play u_u (I’m not good with mobile shooters…I need a controller…)

but I’m not ditching this account ofc. I’m just. Fixating on other things. Like this new story I made. with like shotguns and elves and cannibalism. yum. idk why I’m even posting on here cuz I have like two followers, but shhhh rambling to the void helps me think

but hey maybe me telling you guess I’m in a creativity slump will make my creativity come back to spite me?? That’s unfortunately how it works for me usually 💀

and I 100% agree with the strand headcanon ✨

anyone else ever think about weird quirks or stereotypes behind each sub-class?

like for example, when an arc user is excited they start sparking HJSDHFK. or arc users are typically associated with acting more on the erratic, chaotic side.

or solar peeps being more passionate and emotional in general, and whenever they do get like that, they start heating up and possibly become a fire hazard. 💀

Void seems a little tricky, but I'd like to imagine them being more of a detached, "empty" and kind of edgy. If they were in a bad mood, you'd feel a chill up your spine, but if they were comfortable with you, maybe you'd feel a "still" in a peaceful sort of way. I don't know how to word it lol

Stasis would be a bit like solar and void. They're literally icy, sharp, snappy, perhaps a little slow but always on point. They're probably constantly radiating just...coldness haha.

Strand confuses me. It'd be like arc in a sense, because it could be erratic, but then it's more....intentional. Woven. They are free flowing, exuberant, but perhaps a bit overwhelming. Tangling. Not really sure how to sum it up hahah

anyway um yeah ramble over. if yah have any thoughts to add on or object to, let me know :D :D

one thing that has always pettily pissed me off in destiny lore is the fact that exos can eat.

yes, it has be acknowledged that they have the desire to eat (and reproduce in fact……..so awkward honestly) in order to make them more “human” and reduce the likelihood of DER (Dissociative Exomind Rejection). But they do not have any sort of mechanism that replicates the digestive/urinary (or a reproductive) system in their body. But bungie still acts like they can eat, via dialogue and this one scene from a trailer wheeze (but those examples involved cayde so like who knows 🤦‍♂️).

IDK IT ANNOYS ME.

on a side note, but somewhat related… while I see the logic around the humanisms bray added, it honestly feels cruel (not that he’d care lOL).

like imagine you’re an exo and you’re hanging out with your fellow (fleshbag) guardians and y’all go out to eat. But since you can’t eat. You just sit there. Awkwardly. Watching them all eat while you feel hungry.

also the libido/romantic feelings part??? first off, how do you even stimulate/program that. second, i…..just….sucky feeling I suppose. just like hunger, you can feel it all you want but it’s impossible to sate it. also how awkward it must be if you had feelings for human/awoken, and how weird it may be for them when showing affection to you.

there could be so much cultural/sociological quirks about being an exo. kinda sad it’s pretty much overlooked by the game itself (I mean I get why but still), but I love to think about the potential sociology of it especially as I write my fanfic kdhfhsnd

hey guys I’ve been over thinking destiny lore/logic

so like, when you die and resurrect, you are totally healed, right?

if that logic is true, then prosthetics and scars aren’t really a thing technically (ofc we can have artistic license, but I’m just rambling technicality)

but does that logic then apply to your hair, piercings, and tattoos lol???? how are intentional physical modifications to the body distinguished from unintentional modifications? Does your ghost somehow takes this into account or is this just. idk man djhfhdjdhsm

also same with your armor.

it’s like your ghost has a complete atomic copy of you at all times it constantly updates.

IK IK THIS IS A USELESS THING TO WONDER ABOUT but I love thinking how in game aspects can be taken seriously within the world itself
