It’s important that we acknowledge that Hen, Chimney, Eddie, and Tommy got away with stealing that helicopter because Fake LAFD Brass’ Most Specialest Boy Evan Buckley was on board. The shrine they built to him for not fucking them to death with his successful medical discrimination lawsuit now has a little helicopter added. Tommy’s gonna be the recipient of so many Significant Nods and Shoulder Pats when they find out he’s doing their favorite guy right, and he’s not going to understand it but everything will suddenly get easier for him too.

Do you know what I would pay for the 118 crew (including Ravi) plus Tommy to be caught in some sort of stupid jam, and for like Chimney to get this look of grim resignation and say something like “😐 I’m about to do something I never thought I’d have to do.” And it’s important that this be a very serious and solemn moment.
And then he hands Buck a clipboard.
And the 118 flinches in horror at the deliberate unleashing of this weapon of mass annoyance, but Tommy is just confused. Until he watches as his boyfriend instantly becomes a despotic fault-finding pain in the ass martinet.
And he realizes that Evan possesses an evil in him that only comes out in the most absurd ways.
And it unlocks a well of fondness and attraction he didn’t even know was possible to achieve.
And I’d pay twice as much for Maddie to get in on this action and they become some sort of Clipboard Buckley Team Rocket of unholy terror. So we can find out that Chim also thinks it’s cute on his very own Buckley.

I know Tommy is technically friends with Chimney and worked with everyone except Buck and Eddie, but I'd love it if Tommy just like... retroactively takes Buck's side in every past trauma Buck has had where he didn't have anyone truly on his side.
Aka Tommy being like "Chimney PUNCHED you?! They laughed when they found out your Therapist had SEX with you during a session!!? He called YOU exhausting??!"

The excitement about Bi Buck really should come from the fact that we get to see a character question his sexuality on screen, and discover that he isn't straight, I can't think of one western piece of media where a character gets to experience that. In my experience queer characters, if they are in shows, are often already queer or at least solid in their identity, which isn't necessarily a Bad Thing, but it's nice to SEE a character go through what a lot of queer people do, the questions and uncertainty of finding out who you were all along.
