desperately want to customize some stairs.....I NEED to paint some steps!!! can I put my own favorite colors where my feet go so that every step i take the ground talks in a language i understand? is that something I can do

sometimes, making art feels like inventing ways to obscure

not intentionally (edit: sometimes intentionally.) but through the process of- like, just making the art, creating the image, the pipe that isn't really there

i hate that. like, so, so, so much. right now i'm trying to figure out what to do about that

is there a type of image that doesn't let parts of a feeling through its colors and shapes, its fingers, like water?

if i weren't a little grain of sugar in an ant's mandibles on the Great Electric Picnic Table i'd write a specialist blog segment called Neon Spotlight IN WHICH i would highlight a specific artist I think makes really interesting and exciting things and write all about why i think that is and generally just sort of, like, the point would be to roll around in excitement for art and artists and try to get other people to do that too in a community-spirit-based-way

actually maybe i should do that anyway?? even though i have under 100 followers on main i think that like...idk. if just one other person gets excited about art for a second more than they would have done anyway i think that'd be a success maybe

i love to watch people who disagree about how to interpret a movie argue with eachother......i love it when they, drenched in intense indignation, scream and wrestle in a 12-ft deep pit i dug out in my basement filled with boxless bluray discs, reflected blue light from the one dangling dim bulb in the middle of the ceiling being absorbed into the walls i havent painted (for gritty realism. while they punch and kick eachother). when you think about it its kinda like fight club, right? by the way, isnt tyler durden SO cool? please discuss this in the comments
