Here is my fic for the @1dsilverfoxfest! Thank you to the mods for organizing the fest we all have been dreaming of since those luscious silver strands made their appearance. Louis has struck me as a sassy PTA parent for a while now and I think that he would be a fantastic PTA president. This was supposed to be longer but *motions vaguely* life. So I’ve decided maybe I’ll make it a series.
Louis is a stay at home dad and Harry owns a bakery, because of course he does.

Hi Evi!! I am writing today! I am working on my fic for @1dsilverfoxfest, which I am so excited to share. I don't have a snippet to share yet because I've been writing without much editing so that I can figure out the general flow of the fic and get a solid draft down. But I can tease the plot!
It will be older!Larry with 58 yo Louis and 56 yo Harry. Louis is scrolling through facebook one night when a photo of Harry appears on his timeline because they have a mutual friend. The caption mentions that Harry is celebrating his divorce. Louis recognizes Harry as the boy he'd met at a party forty years before and had had a crush on. With the help of a few glasses of wine, he gets enough courage to send Harry a message.
This fic is based on a real couple that my dad knew. He told me their story and I knew it would it would make a great fic prompt, so that night I wrote down as much as I could remember. It's been sitting in my drafts folder for over two years so it feels great to finally write it.
