Captain Price walks into your room, knocking on your door before peaking his head in with puppy eyes. You already know what kind of favour he is going to ask.
"Can you help me convince Laswell to sign the offer I sent her?"
You nod, smile on you face. Anything for the captain.
Now, he doesn't really know how you manage to make the stoic woman agree to everything you ask for, but that's not what's important. Results are, and you always get great ones.
And he might not really know what you do; but when an hour and half later you enter his office licking your fingers clean, messy hair, plush lips, your chin wet, shirt half way undone, love bites on your neck and a satisfied smile on your face, Price gets an idea of how discussion went down.
"I did all I could, Captain. She'll sign it tomorrow." Is all you say before you leave the room.
Next time he might disagree with Laswell, see if she sends you to him as well.
*taps microphone* testing, testing !! i present… my thoughts…
Laswell had to ban the 141 from playing both Uno and Monopoly as one snowy Christmas day, insults were being thrown left right and centre because Gaz placed down a +4 on top of Ghost’s +4, resulting in Soap squealing like a child saying stuff like…
“YE CANNE FUCKEN DO THAT, YOU WALLY”
causing Laswell to just take the deck away from them and hand the monopoly box to Price as she locks the Uno card away in the no-no cabinet.
monopoly was even worse than Uno as before the game even started, they were all arguing about who gets what piece.
ghost: “i want the car”
gaz: “fuck off, it’s mine”
price and laswell: “stop arguing”
soap: “i’m the wee ducky”
eventually after no less than 10 minutes of arguing, Kate lost her shit and took monopoly away too resulting in a permanent ban of the games and the four men trudged their way to the living room to watch Arthur Christmas while mumbling things about each other
“oh but she likes him-” she doesn’t, she’s literally married and doesn’t give a fuck to price romantically, she doesn’t flirt in the game BECAUSE SHE LOVES HER WIFE.
shipping her with a man while she’s canonically married to a WOMAN only invalidates wlw women.
“i smoke, my wife hates it”
amazing how always woman who are dating or married with another woman is invalidated, is always shipped with a man, this is tiring.
I just had a random thought again sorry to bother you, but I was thinking about why Price and Laswell know each other so well and why they aren't eager to share the real reason, like portrayed in the campaign.
The real reason - you, Mrs. Price (née Laswell).
Kate hated Price at the beginning. She met him when he was still a Sergeant, so arrogant, and like now, he didn't like to listen to rules, which resulted in both of them seeking out a safe house after a failed mission. Price wasn't eager to spend days or weeks with Kate; she was just so annoying with her always-right attitude. That changed quick when he walked inside the house and noticed you; he swears to this day it was love at first sight.
"Hello, love, I'm Sergeant John Price," he shook your hand, and you melted for the tall, handsome British man; it didn't need more to sell.
You danced around each other for two weeks in the safe house, trying to hide the attraction to each other so Kate wouldn't see. On the last day, she walked in on John between your legs, eating you out like a fine meal. God, it was the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you.
Kate didn't let John hear the end of it.
"You're not good enough for my sister."
"I can kill you and make it look like an accident."
"I'm going to mess up your job, John."
After five years of your relationship and marriage, he grew on her, and now he was like a brother she didn't want but loved like her own. John Price was family.
Author's Note: I have so many more thoughts on this. Let me know if you want to hear more about it.
Gaz, Ghost, Soap, Price, Laswell (reader is AFAB/has a vagina)
Gaz gets in the tub with you, insisting on laying you back against his chest while he cops a feel helps you wash. He almost always ends up convincing you to ride him while he plays with your clit.
Ghost leaves you to it but sends you messages frequently asking if you need anything. Top up of your drink? A snack? A magazine? His dick? (He gets horny over your soapy body in the tub, so he keeps making excuses to come and check in on you)
Soap sits on the floor next to the tub and talks to you about your day. Constantly feeling you up whenever he can. He loves just burying his fingers inside you as you soak. He would get in the tub with you but doesn’t like sitting still in hot water that long. He just likes seeing you all flushed and blissed out. If he can make you come on his fingers while you relax, well that’s just a bonus.
John helps you shave and washes your back from outside the tub. He sometimes gets in with you but his broad frame is so large he’s often just a little cramped. He shampoos and conditions your hair (or just gives you massages if that’s more appropriate). He just enjoys the quiet and the intimacy bathing brings you both.
Kate sits at the other end of the tub, both of you doing your own thing while trading touches under the water. It’s a shared pleasure of yours as you just let the stress melt away. You almost always end up with one of you straddling the other sharing tender kisses before you relent and fuck each other senseless in bed soon after.
It's been months since he'd been home, Laswell had done her best to keep up with how you were feeling whilst 141 was after Makarov. You were good, you were running every day, you got a dog called Soap, ironically, he was both your best friend as much as Simon's.
He'd look at Ghost like he knew, everything, as if Soap was looking back at him through the dog. The last time Ghost left, Soap had whined and nipped at Simon, tugging the mask. He never did that before. Never.
It was weird, and unnerving, but when he came home, to low whines and scratching at the bathroom door, his heart dropped, and he broke the door down, to see you in the bathtub, pale, and cold and stained with the one colour he hated at home. Red.
He knew at that moment you were dead, Soap had jumped into the bathtub, nudging your lifeless head with whines.
He called Price and next moment they were all here, police officers and paramedics arriving. 141, still in uniforms, and there was an anger building within all of them. It was breaking their entire lives. Soap had to be tugged from your body, Simon washed his fur after things had cleared up.
Soap took comfort in Simon's strict words as he took him out for a walk. They walked to the cliff side where they'd released the ashes, and Soap seemed to calm down, looking out at the distance panting. He looked at Simon, barking excitedly, tail wagging.
