Random Foxiness
I honestly have no idea where to start these pictures are so random. Usually, I can find a common denominator but I'm not seeing one here.
Guess I'll just jump right in and start with the pets.
Virtual Monty is almost exactly like the real one was, I loves him so.
As does Graham.
I never actually let Merlin stay out long enough to collect a gift before so when he came back with a present I was so excited!
And his first-ever gift?
...
This made me laugh so hard! Perfect gift for the Foxes and their second-gen vampire.
He's looking mighty proud of himself.
No need to look so high and mighty mister you have an appointment.
No more unexpected kitties from you mister.
Let's check in with Maddie now.
She celebrated a birthday... That I totally forgot about.
Sorry sweetie I was too focused on Graham's vet career.
We've finally hired a second vet to help. Zoot legacy stalker Marcus Flex.
Until Marcus gets his skills up Caleb helps out when he can.
Caleb has very much become a background figure.
But he's an excellent and very doting father.
With Maddison so focused on earning money to finish off her aspiration she hasn't spent much time with the kids. Caleb is happy to fill in the gap and takes the kids out when he can.
Graham's kids are still constantly visiting the home.
He spends as much time with them now as he did when they were kids.
When he's not dealing with the garden of course.
As for the kids, with both of them being artistic prodigies I was able to build them a music room.
Maddison is doing really well making money to become fabulously wealthy.
This is one time-consuming, fairly difficult aspiration. But at least I don't have to fish and identify plants.
Since we are up to the kids we can finally celebrate their birthday.
Joel was our first born so he's up first.
Joel grew into a Foodie (like Dad) and an aspiring mansion baron.
I think he's a Caleb clone.
What is with this family and their sudden obsession with money?
Good thing Maddie has been working so hard it'll make things easier for Joel.
Heir Mike's turn.
Mike grew into an active mixologist.
I think it's rather fitting the brothers would be semi-sorta into the same things with the food commonality.
They will definitely both be working in the culinary industry.
I had planned on making Joel a vet for the family clinic but I suppose he can work on it in his spare time but first, we have to make it through the painful teen years.
At least they're going to look good while they deal with high school.

Journey
Let's take a journey with Gaia.
To start things off, I was getting restless constantly gardening with Amanda. So when Wilma Beri called Greyson to invite him out for Knight Night I sent the Gaias off to catch a break.
I do love Amanda, she's the one working so hard and she still auto-cares for her man.
And break off the romantic relationship with these two.
Grey has Amanda now and is over this schoolyard crush.
But even though I sent the family out to socialize and have a good time they still seemed to isolate themselves.
While Wilma was the center of attention inside,
the Gaia family were outside enjoying the fresh air.
Whelp, I tried.
It was a change of pace for a little while at least.
Back to the regular routine after that.
At least until the romance festival came to town.
And the lovely couple made it official.
I hear wedding bells but they sound cracked.
Pshaw,
Mister Love Guru,
Pshaw.
As we learned previously, the couple's eldest pup, Journey, is a hunter. And over the last week of play, he's taken it upon himself to head out on the town and explore!
I almost love him even more when he's filthy.
Got this shot just in time when I randomly went to check on him.
Journey even brought home a friend that Greyson took a shining to.
I have since added the big furball to the family. Now that I can actually use manage households again.
As newlyweds are want to do they got a little 'careless' and soon discovered they were expecting a new addition.
This wasn't actually risky woohoo this time, they both rolled try for baby soon after the wedding.
This shot I love! She got him right before he was taking Rush out for a walk so they're all there to hear the big news.
As the pregnancy progressed it became harder and harder for Amanda to get all her gardening done.
Even with Grey's help.
But an invite from the Garden Gnomes saved the day!
Seriously, if you don't want to hire a gardener and your sim spends way too much time in the garden, make a club! Just collect all your harvestables first or they'll steal them.
Especially Bjorn!
Keep your eye on that one.
It was worth losing the harvest to keep the garden maintained though. Amanda put in too much work to lose it.
Before we knew it it was time to head to the hospital to bring the first Gaia descendant into the world.
With a good luck kiss from Grey, Amanda headed into surgery.
Baby Petal is here!
Ladies and gentlemen, we have ourselves an heir!
And the start of an actual house at Gaias Jams.
Hopefully, by the time she becomes a toddler and can come to the lot, they'll have a room for her.

Bobs Legacy
You ever wondered what happens to all those Disney challenge spares?
Well, wonder no more!
I actually only have two left of the six spares who haven't married off into my other legacies.
Theresa, the eldest.
A mean, unflirty, loner that I've never had any real plans for.
And quite frankly I still don't.
Her personality doesn't exactly scream life of the party.
However, it did say to me ballsy beekeeper!
As you can see she's wearing a business suit here and I decided to scrap that.
None of these jobs really fit her.
She's definitely an unpleasant sim but she does love her family so she's now taking care of them.
Except when she tries to cast some voodoo on her sister Bridget.
Something she is just really really bad at.
You know how generation orange in Not So Berry is supposed to be really bad at being evil?
I think that totally applies to Theresa here.
Because she failed at this thing every single time!
Quite frankly their pet hedgehog Stitch is better at it than she is.
Is that an atomic explosion or a really powerful fart? Perhaps both?
The other spare still left in the house is Bridget.
Bridget has always been my favorite of the Pancake kids.
A lazy, clumsy goofball she's always been a joy to play.
If you read my Disney challenge you know that she does have a special someone in her life but it just doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
Bridget I think is only physically invested in this relationship. Whereas Andrea wants more than she is prepared to give.
As a result, I let Bridge get on the hookup list of the SimDa dating app.
One of her "dates" caught my eye and I decided to have her invite the sim over.
That, in case you couldn't tell is Darling Walsh from the karaoke legends house.
Why, in the name of all that is holy I gave Darling long hair when I was making townies over is beyond me. Because it just doesn't work.
Despite my reservations at Darling's look, Bridget had none.
Of course, soon things went even further.
Because of a random hook-up call I now actually have a plan for Bridget. Besides just holding down the fort until a Disney Princess returns.
But before all that can happen, Bob, the sim who will inspire it all is of course causing havoc with Theresa's bees.
He's not the only one though, his lost love loves to terrorize them as well.
But the bees take no nonsense from anyone be they physical beings or not.
Bob is enjoying his retirement and now that we have seasons in the Sims his hobbying is no longer limited to swimming.
Playing in the leaves is just as fun.
He has not forgotten his responsibility to the family though and made sure to check in that his girls will be alright when he's gone.
It seems Theresa's cooking has finally passed his judgment.
With that knowledge, he knows he can finally let go.
And return to his beloved in the hereafter.
Of course, the girls were not happy about this and as such made their first holiday that much harder.
The gnomes arrived.
Expecting to be catered to and celebrated.
Theresa had no such intentions in her heart.
Excitement at the thrill of the kill!
Despite the arrival of the Grim gnome at this great injustice.
That didn't stop the mean Theresa she just went about her killing spree.
Her impressionable sister Bridget soon couldn't help but get caught up in her sisters' glee and was soon dancing in the gnome carcasses.
The carnage!
Because nothing screams thankful like a good old-fashioned gnome purge!

Canine Beginnings
Hey guys!
So technically, this family started before Serenity but I was assuming there would be an actual mention of Greyson being engaged in a previous Fox post but yeah... that didn't happen. He did NOT end up with Lilith Vatore. Eventually, he realized that gal was no good for him, instead, he ended up with a beautiful sim named Amanda who, like him, is far more outdoorsy.
Thus the generational rules: so let's get into it.
Usually when I start a new legacy with a spare from a previous family that sim dictates the legacy rules.
In this case that sim would be Greyson.
Greyson is an active, self-assured, vegetarian. None of these traits really suit what I want to do with this family.
Grey is an outdoor enthusiast and his fiance Amanda is an aspiring freelance botanist. So I wanted the family to have an earthy feel.
Thus the surname Gaia: the Greek goddess of Earth.
Amanda is creative, loves the outdoors, and is childish.
She definitely personifies the whole concept I was going for.
As a result, she will be setting our legacy rules for the Gaia legacy. Heirs will need to have the loves the outdoors trait and or be a girl.
Which makes total sense with Gaia being a goddess and all.
Alright, so we've met the characters let's set the stage.
Flowers Camp Site by ladyfancyfeast
The Gaias live on Gaias Jams a retail lot in Brindleton Bay.
I know you technically can't live on a retail lot but they never leave and their 'home lot' is vacant.
Works just fine for me. One drawback is you don't get any visitors (unless they call) but you get customers all the time so there's always others to talk to.
Not that Amanda has much time to socialize she's always in her (way too big for its own good) garden.
Yes, you are looking at cc. Zoot finally caved and delved into the mystical world of cc. Though I didn't do much. After reading rkings current household I remembered I wanted to try out the canning mod and I also downloaded the cottage stuff pack for good measure. I'm going to try to restrain myself, the PTSD from a huge mods folder back in Sims 2 days has not worn off.
(The days before we actually had canning in game - kind of fun seeing my sims life when the game was more bare bones.)
Back to the subject at hand.
The idea with the Gaia family was that Amanda wouldn't work and make her money off of her garden (canning, herbal remedies) and the occasional painting in a family shop.
Sounds easy enough...
In theory that is, for the first few days, they couldn't sell anything.
Besides the fact that the customers wandered all over the lot and took hours to decide to buy anything. When they finally did, they couldn't. They would stop and wave like something was in the way.
Rinse and repeat.
It took me forever to figure it out. I initially thought it was the cc shelf but no, then I was like well maybe they actually need a building to walk in?
Yeah, that wasn't it.
Which really made me mad they barely have any money as it is.
I did figure it out though. It was that pile of logs decorative item I forgot I marked for sale.
Maker forbid you place it against the wall!
Once someone bought that we just removed the sign and said adios!
The store runs smoothly now and you can make one tidy profit off those jams let me tell ya. I even invested in an employee to actually talk to the customers so they buy stuff quicker.
Amanda certainly can't do it that garden takes all damn day!
On rare occasions, she does actually get a break.
But it's not often.
I've lost the thread here.
The title is Canine Beginnings do you intend on introducing a canine anytime soon Zoot?
Alright, alright, you got it.
The first thing the Gaias did upon arriving in Brindleton Bay was to call the adoption agency.
I knew from the beginning they would be a (large) dog family.
So they adopted two dogs, one adult and one puppy.
Both males, I'm not interested in breeding, I just wanted big dogs.
Rush is the playful baby,
and Journey is their hunter.
In fact their very first day in the home, Journey took on a fascination with those woohoo bushes and didn't come out so well.
The poor pup got sick his very first day and had to go to the vet with Mom.
Sorry buddy this legacy is just starting out they don't have the money for expensive treatments.
You are just going to have to make do with the cone of shame.
We promptly deleted those bushes can't handle the expense let alone a sick pup.
Sorry Journey you're going to have to find a new obsession.
um... alright then...
I seriously can't keep this dog out of the bathroom, guess I could lock the doors but, nah.
Luckily both the dogs get along really well and are often playing together.
Hopefully, that lasts as Rush gets bigger because his cuddle days are up.
Now he can join Grey on his evening jogs around the neighborhood, like Journey.
Journey just loves Grey...
Almost as much as Amanda.
The Gaia family will be back next update!

do you love generational challenges in the sims? are you a pokemon nerd? if so, this may be the legacy challenge for you. introducing the pokemon type legacy, an 18 generation-long challenge meant to explore what the sims 4 has to offer and, most of all, have fun! i’ve been working on the rules for a few months now and haven’t playtested everything, so bear with me if there are a few tweaks made along the way. you can see my pokemon type legacy gameplay here. please tag me if you end up doing this challenge! i’d love to see other people’s gameplay :D
general rules:
complete the given aspirations and reach level ten of the given careers unless otherwise stated
play on normal lifespan
each heir should have at least one biological child
some collections are difficult to complete and most are luck based. if you don’t complete a collection during the generation that it’s listed under, just continue that goal to the next generation
i love color gameplay! if you like it too, i’ve listed two colors for each generation, one of which carries over to the next. this is completely optional ofc
have fun! if something in the rules doesn’t vibe with your gameplay style, or if you want to skip generations, that’s fine. play however you want to play!

Romantic Journey
It's been some time since her discussion with Joaquin about her romantic future. Joaquin is a detective and his hours can be sporadic but as soon as he had a free night he reminded Dahlia about wanting to take her out on a proper date.
"Just let me put the charm on for one night."
I mean she isn't actually dating Sergio why is she so hesitant? Afraid to lose a friend, lose Sergio, or both?
As if reading her thoughts Joaquin texted her back.
"If it's weird we will just pull it back and go back to being just friends, scouts honor."
Chuckling Dahlia responded.
"Alright scout you win, when and where?"
8 at Bistro L'Bananiere a posh new restaurant in San Myshuno.
How Jo managed to score a table at this sleek establishment was beyond Dahlia. But it felt really nice having someone actually show how much they like her company.
Since they're neighbors Jo escorted Dahlia home and she asked him to stay for a bit. Sensing his hesitation she spoke up.
"I just don't want the night to end yet. We can just watch the stars, it's a pity you can't see them in the city."
With that Jo relaxed and they lay in the grass outside her home and watched the sky, telling stories and holding hands.
As Jo went to go home a few hours later he thought an explanation was necessary.
"This has been perfect. I know it may seem old-fashioned but I wanted to ... I mean ... I need you to know, you're more to me than just ..."
Dahlia couldn't take it anymore and she kissed him.
"I, uh, that was nice. I'll talk to you soon?" Jo asked.
Dahlia nodded blushing from head to toe. She'd never felt like this, not with Sergio.
"Enjoy the Firefly Holiday Doll!" Jo called as he walked down the hill towards home.
Dahlia did just that. She invited the whole Fox clan to join her at the Bluffs.
Nothing like time with the family to help you remember what's really important, family. I mean who else will encourage you to make the messiest cannonball you can?
After an absolutely amazing day on her way home, Jo texted her a simple: Thinking about you
and suddenly Dahlia was on cloud nine with a smile that wouldn't die.
As she got closer to her trailer she saw movement outside and after her text, she assumed it was Jo.
But the closer she got she saw it was Sergio and her smile faltered a bit.
"Happy Firefly Day!" He practically shouted at her.
Clearly, he'd had too much juice in the sun.
"Haven't heard from you in a while" She responded.
Not noticing her unwelcoming tone Sergio just kept on talking.
"So I heard you went out on a date with Jo."
"What's it to you?" I never hear from you and whenever I do see you we just woohoo. Don't act like you care."
Sergio's raised his hands in defense.
"Obviously I care otherwise I wouldn't be here after finding out."
Maybe he does care Dahlia thought taking the seat next to him.
"Fine, friends." She said.
"Just friends?" He smirked and winked.
She chuckles "Yes, just frie... " but the words died on her lips as Sergio leaned in.
Once again, as usual, they ended up in bed. The next morning it was immediate regret. Joaquin had texted her but she couldn't bear to look at it. What did she do? She'd decided she wanted to pursue things with Jo and what does she do the second Sergio shows up? Maybe she really doesn't deserve better.
She trundled to the kitchen and started making breakfast. I mean things with Sergio weren't great but maybe she can make this work.
Presumably, the smell of food is what brought Sergio out of the bedroom. He walked in grabbed her butt and a slice of bacon.
"Morning" he yawned out.
Yeah, maybe she can make this work. Dahlia smiled and set the table for the two of them. They ate breakfast without saying very much but as Sergio was finishing up he suddenly spoke.
"I've been thinking..."
"..Yeah" Dahlia's hope began to rise.
"About this whole just friends thing."
"Oh." Dahlias face fell as her dreams were crushed.
"I think you're right. I mean this is fun and all but what do we really have in common? You want the family the dog the picket fence. Me? Man, all I want is a good drink a good game, and a good lay. Jo is right you deserve better than that."
Seeing the expression on her face Sergio softened his tone.
"Seriously Dahlia, call him. When he told me I got so jealous, not because it was you but just the way his whole being lit up just talking about you. I've never felt that but you have."
Dahlia opened her mouth to speak.
"Don't try to lie and say it was with me because we both know it wasn't. I had way too much to drink last night and all I could think was I'll show him. That wasn't fair to him or you. Call him."
With that, he left.
Sure just call him, easy for him to say. Joaquin wanted to take things slow with her and build something solid together and she broke it before they could even lay the foundation. It's looking more and more like she is destined to be alone.
For the next few weeks, she ignored everyone. No more visitors no more phone calls or texts or dinner dates with friends. Dahlia needed to focus on Dahlia.
She redecorated her home, threw herself into her painting and just when she was beginning to feel ready to get out there again she discovered why she had been feeling so sick lately.
Dahlia has always wanted to be a mother but not this way. There's only one person who could be the father and they broke it off. Plus he really doesn't want kids he's said as much. But he has to know, doesn't he? Even if he wants nothing to do with the baby. Sergio's not that bad maybe just maybe her child won't grow up never knowing their father.
To set the scene Dahlia decorated the kids' room before inviting him over. Sergio was reluctant to come over at all he knew she hadn't contacted Jo he could see it in his face every day. But eventually, he decided he'd go and try to convince her to reach out to his friend.
When he arrived she'd left the front door open and he called out for her. She responded she was in the back and to come in.
Oh man, the bedroom was in the back of the house. He knew Dahlia and him didn't belong together but he didn't think he'd be able to resist if she pushed him there.
Turns out she wasn't actually in the bedroom there was a light coming from a door to his left. That hadn't been there before.
"What's this? You have a built-in closet put in? Women ... and ... their .... shoes..."
SURPRISE! Dahlia blurted out. You like it?
"It's a nursery. You're not? I mean ... it's mine, isn't it? Yeah of course it is, noone else showed up here drunk and broke your heart did they?"
Dahlia just stared at him, waiting for some acknowledgment of what he planned to do.
"What do you expect me to say, Dahlia? I never wanted this, you know that. Listen... I... I... don't want to be a dad but if you need anything just ... just ask"
"You mean financially, don't you? Like that's all it takes!" she stopped and took a breath "I know you never wanted to have kids and honestly I never expected you to help but at the very least I thought you should know. If you ever change your mind and want to meet your kids you can come by anytime."
Seeing how his eyes widened at the word kids Dahlia explained.
"Oh yeah, it's twins. I guess when you impregnate someone you don't waste any time do you? Straight to the bonus level."
They both laughed.
Finally, Sergio asked her, "What about you and Jo?"
"I don't know. We haven't talked in a while and now I wouldn't know what to say. I mean I can't expect him to still want me now can I?"
"If it were me yeah not a chance but Joaquin is most decidedly not me. I'd risk it if only to get that abandoned puppy dog look off his face."
She smiled." Alright maybe. I mean what have I got to lose if he says no I'm not losing anything am I? ... He really looks like an abandoned puppy?"
"Yeah, he's driving me nuts always asking about you if I've heard from ya."
"Alright, I will. But first you want some sugar cookies? I've been baking like mad ever since I got pregnant."
The two former lovers had a fine afternoon just talking and eating cookies and milk. And although it didn't look like her kids would be part of their dads' life at least she knew she had a friend if she ever needed him.
That night she texted Jo.
"I'm not dead. Just had some things to deal with. Hopefully we can see each other soon."
Then as if an afterthought.
"I miss you."
From there she opened at least one aspect of her social life but she still refused to go anywhere or see anyone. No one but her family knows about her pregnancy and she doesn't know how to tell her friends, especially Jo.
One day when her father Fred and he were out to breakfast Jo asked about her.
"Aren't you two friends? Hasn't she told you?"
"Told me what?" Jo asked.
"Listen I'm going there later today come with me."
"I don't know she's said she just doesn't want to see anyone right now. Besides she didn't invite me."
"Don't make me play the dad card, it's still technically my property, and you're my guest I insist."
When they arrived Dahlia was busy painting but she knew her father was coming by. He was always there checking up on her.
"Hey Dad, you catch the Llamas last night that referee I mean do you have to be blind to do that job?"
"Yeah, I actually think it's in the application." Came the response but not from her father like she expected but Jo.
"Oh Jo I..."
"Congratulations" he interrupted. "No wonder he's looked like the cat who stole the cream lately. I take it you're on your own officially now?"
Dahlia's whole face reddened.
"Yeah, he broke it off before I even found out the twins really sealed it."
"Oh Watcher, twins? Really?! That's so exciting!"
And just like that they were okay again. Dahlia knew she hadn't lost Jo after all. I guess her meddlesome father was good for something after all.
Over the next few months, the two carried on just as they had been since that first date and he even went with her to the hospital.
The babies came into the world with very little trouble.
A healthy baby boy and girl, at least they aren't identical Dahlia laughed. Never had she been so happy.
There was one person whose joy could almost match Dahlias and that was Grandpa Fred.
Now she'll never get him out of her house. But with two babies she's secretly thankful he is so protective she needs the help.
Even Father Winter stopped by to bring her some cheer away from crying and feeding and diapers.
Maybe just maybe once they're bigger things will calm down a bit and she will be able to find time for Jo and they can really see about building something together.
Phew you Simmers who always write stories I praise you. Would of loved to just do my normal routine but sometimes I need to explain the stories behind why my sims do what they do. PS. I always have little fanfics in my head of what goes on I just don't relate it here. It just keeps me engaged.

Unsuccessful Success
Welcome to Not so Berry/Disney where everything is just hunky dory.
All of the families pets are being out and out spoiled.
Julie's Glee
Bungees Boxcar
And of course our main man, Lump.
Spork and his princess are still extremely enamored.
Even her little sister Mabel is so happy for her sisters luck in finding her soulmate.
Spork is only two skills away from completing renaissance sim and of course as a result he has gotten quite buff.
Life is perfect, which is strange for a Not so Berry post.
The only problems that occur happen at work.
You better save Clarice, Spork.
Sporks even attempting to teach his little girl to be a good Berry.
Though she's not really listening.
This kid is driving me bonkers, with the cackling and the refusal to eat anything.
Maker forbid any of the adults in the house take a stand and teach this kid something!
They are far more interested in each other and celebrating Love Day.
Generation Grey had a great day but things didn't start out too well for Julie.
She ended up contracting Rabid Rodent Fever and had to fend for herself to find a cure.
Eventually, she did manage to get the antidote and proceeded to pamper her *ahem* Doctor husband for the rest of the holiday.
Ignoring her child all the while.
But she managed to complete her aspiration so it wasn't all bad.
Pandora really can't be bothered with these so-called adults and spends most of her time with the pets.
Bungee's birthday came around and now generation grey is truly grey.
During the festivities Julie let Spork know about how she's completed her ultimate goal.
Little did she know what this supposedly exciting news would mean to her supposed soulmate.
In the middle of the night, he woke up angry and started a fight.
How dare you finish your lifetime goals before me!
The usually calm and subservient Julie soon had enough of this ridiculous tirade and snapped herself.
It was Love Day! It was for us! And I almost died! Some doctor you are! Had to cure a fatal illness on my own!
After the anger, came the tears.
The couple that has been obsessed with one another since they met, called it quits right then and there.
In quite a turn for a Disney Princess, Julie now has nothing.
No husband, no home to call her own, no one to care for.
Pans a Beri she can't be uprooted at a time like this. They don't handle things well.
Julie's no fool, she knows this. So, she gave her girl one last kiss goodbye and headed back to Newcrest
Hopefully, her big sister Bridget and Darling will take her in and help her through this.

Bridgets Life
Welcome to the Pancakes Legacy!
A legacy byproduct from Bob's spare children from his life with Snow White sim, Natalie Morales.
In case you haven't read some of my other posts the two Pancake spares left are Bridget and Theresa.
Bridget, my favorite Pancake, will be founding the legacy with her fiancee Darling.
Really it's Darling's fault for rolling try for baby and taking the Pancake name after their upcoming nuptials.
But I'm getting ahead of myself.
Bridget is the only really outgoing sim in the house and her sister and fiancee are both loners.
Which obviously leads to great early-morning conversations for these two.
Things are just kind of dull around the home until Bridget starts entertaining everyone.
She was always the heart of the family.
Nothing is going to stop these two from marrying at the perfect outdoor venue.
Not even a blizzard can keep them apart.
Ok, so here's what happened.
I really wanted them to get married in the snow because Bridget absolutely loves it.
The forecast said 'chance of snow' then this happened.
So, ya know it's not really my fault they are all freezing their tails off.
Besides I just placed some heat lamps and no one froze to death, all's well that ends well.
See, even the mean Theresa had a good time.
Blizzards are far less exciting when you have to trudge in them to get to work.
But at least your ghostly mama is there to warm you up.
Snow is great and can be a ton of fun!
Especially when Snow Bunny Day comes around.
You can take the ever-exciting polar plunge.
--No Pancakes were hurt in the making of this post.--
Go streaking in the brisk and crisp air.
However that may not be all that fun when you hit some ice.
I swear they weren't hurt!
Then of course, the icing on the snowy cake.
Terrorizing the Flower Bunny with the mischievous spirit of this amazing holiday.
A far better holiday than Winter Fest if you ask me.
Though Bridget may have the right idea by sneaking her presents early.
Which might explain why when the big moment came she got a whole lot of nothing.
That won't keep her down she loves a good belly laugh.
And making the day of her beloved.
Let's get the rest of these Pancakers over here to enjoy the festive spirit.
Gah! Almost all 7 in the shot, Vincent's mia
Maybe Father Winter will actually give Bridget a gift if we ask him nicely.
He totally did by the way.
Apparently, New Year's Eve is only like 2 days later (I gotta fix that) and it's my last day with the Pancakes so at least we get to go out on a high note.
I do have to say I enjoy that random word they say when they're counting down ... It truly makes me happy.
Before we head out let's get a ghostly shot of the mean Theresa with the sweet Jewel.

Baby Machine
First things first, the family's heir and the baby I didn't introduce you to, Simon has grown up.
He is a sweet and angelic little guy who gets lots of playtime with his mom.
Which makes sense seeing as how Luna has nothing else to do. All day she lazes about the house watching television.
Or playing with her son's toys since she never really grew up.
All while waiting for Damien to come home but he doesn't exactly talk to her until the baby-making begins.
And as far as his child is considered Damien only speaks to him to yell at him for making a mess.
Apparently, his idea of becoming a super parent is strict punishment.
At least Grandma Daphne is still around and visits regularly so Simon is taken proper care of by someone.
You'd of thought Damien would have picked something up from his mother but she may have spoiled him too much.
Damien may be an aspiring super parent but his sole focus seems to be his career. Attempting to reach the top of the judge ladder.
Surprisingly Damien does have one hidden skill, he is an excellent cook but with his long hours the cooking has fallen to Luna and like everything else that doesn't require toys she fails .. hard.
At least the butler isn't useless.
(I have it set so butlers don't cook in case you were wondering why he isn't the chef)
Daphne seems to think as little of her daughter-in-law as her son does, cant she do anything right?
Look at your son
every time he needs something or wants proper attention and grandma isn't here he goes to the help.
If you wanna be a lazy sack of potatoes fine but take care of your children.
That's right children because Damien seems to always want more babies.
Luna didn't start off well deciding to give birth outside by the pool when there were two bassinets upstairs in the blasted nursery.
After bringing in the two new Landgraab girls Luna went straight back to her best bud the robot toy at least he talks to her.
To celebrate Winterfest Eve Damien brought his sweet toddler to blow out his candles.
Luna decided with the holiday season it was time she spruced up and made an effort. After all, everyone keeps telling her everything that goes wrong around here is her fault. So maybe she should try a little harder.
She invited her brothers' families and Damiens and everyone but the two she really wanted to see (her brothers) never came.
(What's that say about you Luna when even your own family can't be bothered to visit?)
Simon made sure he went to Father Winter as soon as he could, after all he'd been a great toddler.
But his now evil ways are sure to be problematic in the future.
He wasn't too keen on all those people hanging around and not giving him nearly enough attention.
Selfishly ignoring the fact his cousin Stuart was in the same boat but was making the best of it.
Just your typical Landgraab.
By the time the actual Winterfest hit the whole family was ready to open presents.
Little Alexandra (Ally) and Sally grew up just in time.
Yes, they're cute and yes they are identical but don't ask me which one is which.
When a sim this little builds a sandcastle all by themselves of a reinterpretation of Jaws I have to worry about exactly what kind of children this family is raising.

The Trouble With Gnomes
When we left it was Gnome Fest. Wait I mean Harvest Fest.
At the time my game was broked and I couldn't actually cook a grand meal so it was technically Gnome Fest for me.
Eventually, I did fix the game by finding the non-updated mod and returned Harvest Fest back to normal.
But due to the Pancakes disaster with the gnomes I did actually create a Gnome Fest holiday.
Therefore, BEHOLD, the origins of the gnomey holiday!
We are now the Gnomes!
Since the girls eliminated the gnome opposition they decided to cart the look of the gnomes to prove their dominance.
Everyone at the family get-together knew who the true gnomes of the day were and respected the girls' new position.
However, there were others not so impressed by the girls' new self-confidence.
Graham, my second-generation Fox heir and founder of the Super Sim challenge clan had to show the Pancakes exactly who was in charge in this world.
Of course he went after the main perpetrator, Theresa.
I can't even be mad. Graham's got to be at least 200 years old and this is the first time he's attacked one of my other legacies.
He has every right to look as proud of himself as he does.
He is the dominant sim in this world.
Though I wonder if he wasn't bought off by the gnomes themselves.
Bridget got off relatively easy after the gnome night (after all she was just an innocent bystander - dancing in the carnage doesn't mean anything!) So she was further able to pursue her romantic life.
Darling must have awakened something in her because, in a relatively short time, she wanted to make things with Darling official.
Considering how long she was with that other girl and nothing rolled it must be fate.
Of course, I immediately moved Darling into the home so she could start aging and they immediately got extra frisky.
All the townie families in my game have a pet because I needed more pets to work on at the Fox clinic.
In Darling's case she had an adorable kitty named Kira.
Who I naturally totally love as I do Darling's new makeover.
With Darling joining the house some major things happened.
I could no longer stand the sight of that eyesore of a house I built and got the girls a much better home off the gallery.
So if you're looking at the backgrounds of these pics and thinking I don't recognize this place, that's why.
Now that I think about it, I was initially going to give this house back to a Disney Princess but considering these sims are the only ones to officially live here I think I'll let their family stay here. It'll make more sense for when I get to Tiana claiming her family hasn't accomplished anything. - ramble over
Anyway since Bridget has herself an official significant other now it's time to officially cut Andrea loose.
Listen chica this relationship wasn't going anywhere, Bridge just wasn't feeling it. Go enjoy story progression.
Yeesh, someone does not take rejection well.
Good thing you got out of that relationship Bridge.
Don't let her insanity get to you.
You have the amazing Darling who has some big news for you now that you're officially all theirs.
Seriously, they rolled to marry Bridget almost immediately after Bridget cooled things off with Andrea.
I do love these two together so much.
My favorite couple in my legacies at the moment.
I find the unflirty sims are the most romantic and devoted once they find the right person.
So when I got control of Darling and saw that chief of mischief aspiration I had to change it.
It just did not fit her personality, I felt, so I chose nerd brain. It just screamed Darling to me.
Though the handiness skill definitely needs some serious work.
That's gotta hurt.
Darling is an absolute coffee fiend.
If there's none in the pot you better be sure they're brewing some up.
However, a contributing factor could be the silly girlfriend's love of snow.
He's missing something... I know! Pancakes!
And her insistence everyone else enjoy it as much as her.

Infatuated
We begin our time in the Rainbowcy at the flea market. Where Dahlia and her two best berry buddies Eliza and Joaquin invited her to.
They were just having a ball but as soon as Sergio showed his face off Dahlia went. To ah, suck face.
I dont know what it is but Sergio just has some sort of thrall over Dahlia. Normally a very reliable and restrained sim she loses her sanity around him.
In fact after the day of snogging at the Flea Market she just couldn't get him out of her mind and invited him out for breakfast.
Youd swear by this shot they live in a berry save but no that's just what my game does.
She kept trying to press hints that she'd like things to be more certain between them but he seemed to brush the hints off. He is a man though maybe he just isnt picking up on our girls hints and isnt ignoring them.
After that breakfast she didn't hear from him for awhile and she went back to her routine at the mobile home.
Caring for her home and the animals, painting and gardening in the morning.
Heading out for some exercise in the afternoons when the weather is right.
And hanging out at the little beach down the hill from her home.
Then it's usually home for dinner and there is almost always someone visiting.
Dahlia has a real good life. Simple and a little poor but she loves it.
She also has really good friends that take her out of the house for dinner dates every week to keep her in the loop and remind her there is a life out there without Sergio.
But somehow no matter where she goes he tends to show up and the attraction is like a magnet.
It takes some time for her to get herself back from these dalliances and remember why she was wherever she was.
To clear her head after instances like this Dahlia tends to look to the water. In this case, taking a day trip to Sulani.
It's nice to feel like herself again and just in time for her weekly dinners with friends. But this week it looks like Eliza can't make it she's been roped into working.
That left just Dahlia and Joaquin.
Over what was quite frankly a rather disgusting meal, this place is seriously grimy why does Eliza work here?
The two friends really got to know one another and Jo asked Dahlia how things were with Sergio.
Dahlia: Oh ... well ... ya know he pops up whenever and we *blushes* ya know and then I don't see him until the next random encounter.
Joaquin: That's it? This has been going on for a while haven't you two discussed a future? Or even just gone out on a date?
Dahlia: Well, I did ask him out to breakfast one time but he didn't seem to like that so I just let it go.
Joaquin: You deserve better than that... I'd give you better than that.
And with that Dahlia went home glowing and wondering just what it was she wanted for herself.
But that nights events ruined it when her bed tried to kill her.
So this time she went to the water to recuperate from near-bed death and the loss of her family's raccoon cat Mia.
Rather than dealing with any man problems.
I mean how pretty is this shot I absolutely love it.
With her head clear Dahlia is ready to take on the next stage of her life. But with whom?

Should be a quickie update today guys so let us jump right in.
Our boys got their restaurant!
DeLeon Diner by Eyeball1011
Aptly named: Serenity.
Running a restaurant is actually a lot of fun and not as difficult as I thought. The first day there were some problems with waiting but free drinks got them back to 3 stars.
In fact, by the end of this update, our boys had themselves a 4-star establishment.
The restaurant is great, nice, and small and I placed it on a larger, neighboring lot so as I get more comfortable with it I can expand on it. Definitely recommend it if you wanna give running a restaurant a try for the first time.
Since it was Harry's idea and he has more days off during the week he manages it on his days off so Neil can focus on that Tech Guru aspiration.
Harry makes sure he's home for dinner (that he cooks) with his beloved where they catch up on their days.
And make big decisions.
I was waiting for the family to have at least a few simoleons to their name before I let them get a pet. When the pet choice finally came I knew they had to be a pitbull family. I don't know it just seemed right.
Eden is the sweetest pup and her and Harry spend a lot of time together.
I think Neil is more of a cat person. Maybe next time Neil.
Way back when, before cats and dogs and before I had to start a legacy with these two I asked you all if they should have a natural child or adopt.
The poll ended with adopting a girl.
BUT
I want the whole family gene thing since it's a legacy. No matter how bad that may sound. Also, adoption costs money they don't have.
Neil was also the best expecting 'mother' I've ever had.
I do intend to follow through with the poll results if they ever get to a financially stable place and have enough room in their home.
As I said earlier quick update so let's get to the main event.
Omg omg omg!
His face... I just... I can't... I love Harry so much!
Doctor: Wait you're a dude right?
(Because that's totally how a doctor would talk. At least one who dated a Berry would.)
Neil: Yes! I'm as confused as you are right now! It's the Sims don't overthink it! Just get this baby out of me!
That's not how this works woman!
That's more like it!
Here's to new experiences.
Welcome to Serenity, Theodore.

Founding a Legacy
Damien has decided he's not making as much money as he could be in his 9 to 5 job so he applied for some scholarships to go back to school and really start bringing in the dough.
While he awaited results he distracted himself with some casual woohoo with his favorite hook-up call, Luna Villareal.
Sure she's dumb as a stump but she's a mighty fine roll in the hay.
Damien finally got the news he was accepted into a distinguished history degree with a full ride to Britechester after receiving various scholarships.
That of course brings up the question of what to do with his favorite girl.
Yeah, Lucifer is a girl - check your facts next time Zoot.
As usual, Mom was there and happily took Luci in despite how angry it made Malcolm. This just made the deal that much sweeter for Damien.
What was not sweet was moving into your new dorm and your gross-ass roommate starts making the moves on your clueless mother!
Just moved in and already our boy hates everyone around him.
Damien couldn't stand what he was seeing and never wanting to upset his mother he chose to explore the campus and was just in awe of the fact he was the first sim to experience the true university experience.
Then some hateful little wanna-be goth - so-called Pleasant chick went and ruined the whole thing by defacing the symbol of learning and ruining Damien's moment.
Who the hell enrolled these peasants?
Damien found a sense of accomplishment in his work for the school. Because every good grade gets him that much closer to rolling in simoleons.
But eventually, he would have to return to his dorm and deal with these jackass roommates he was assigned.
Damien's not the weak kid he once was and now he gives the black eyes.
Whoever said you can't have more enemies than your generation's rules state?
Damien spent almost all of his time studying and had very little time for socialization. Besides, look at the people around here, they are not exactly his equals.
But as usual, his kind mom convinced him to get out there and meet people, there's more to life than money she would say.
Damien didn't believe a word of that but he heeded his mothers' advice and headed to the campus bar. Was challenged (you dare challenge me?!) to a game of juice pong by some tech nerd from Foxbury and Damien made sure this twit knew who was on top.
But Damien's not as young as these kids and with each passing semester he can feel his time as a young adult ending and he desperately wants to leave a legacy behind him.
Being so focused on the almighty simoleon, however, there is no one in his life but Luna. Guess she's going to have to do.
Nearing the end of his university days (thank you Watcher) the roommates finally started contributing and brought Damien, food!
Seriously, that was the high point of my university experience with Damien. As usual, I could not wait to get my sim out of there. I'll definitely be sticking with school from home absolutely love that! Not interested in the experience my sims just want to earn more dough and get professional jobs.
That's why Damien went and while he was away at school some peasants moved into his bug-infested shack in Strangerville. But that was no skin off Damien's nose his mother had sent him the key and deed to his old home back in Oasis Springs. Seems that as Malcolm's elder days approach, he becomes easier and easier to manipulate by his sweetly evil wife.
Once Damien had those he planned a whole renovation of the property. He did all this while getting top marks in school. So when he finally graduated the house was ready.
Damien is truly a force to be reckoned with.
It was good to be back in the Oasis with his Luci.
Man, I missed that dog.
Damien has changed so much since he left that everyone believes he is a newcomer to the area.
Which is perfectly fine by him he isn't that sweet little boy anymore.
Damien isn't totally alone however he does have a family that he cares for immensely. Well minus his father and I pity anyone that hurts his young berry cousins.
And then there's Luna, sweet, stupid, clueless and innocent Luna who never says no.
When she showed up months later to tell Damien they were going to have a baby he was thrilled!
Because frankly if she had just gotten that out of shape he was going to have to find another booty call.
But pregnancy is far better news, this means he can start his legacy but it's gotta be done right. No child of his was going to be called a Villareal.
What, did you expect some sort of ceremony Luna? Maybe you should learn how to say no.
When Luna moved in she didn't come alone. She brought her families dog Princess with her.
Initially, Damien was annoyed but this sweet face hides a dark soul underneath, kind of like his mom.
But we are getting ahead of ourselves. After his graduation and with his distinguished degree Damien was able to land a job as a high-paying judge.
I pray for anyone put before his bench. They better have deep pockets.
Just like that Damien is shedding the days of young adult.
And burgeoning into the founder of a legacy to be respected.
Good luck Luna.

Say What ?!
Welcome back Zootites!
We've got more Beri shenanigans coming at ya!
Yes, Bungee you have an in-depth conversation with the pets.
That's not liable to get the neighbors talking at all!
You're getting as erratic as your husband, miss grey berry.
Spork, Julie come on! Would it kill you to talk to one another on these date nights?
The Gaias butler is terrified.
Who could blame him?!
That'd be my reaction to a Beri doctor.
In fact...
Zoots Simself is unsure of this diagnosis from a plum.
Do you guys want to meet the next generations childhood self?
Well too bad!
More toddler pictures!
How about now Spork what do ya say?
Yeah, nah! Let's go dancing instead!
See Julie you should stick to clubbing for date night, look at how happy he is.
Did you just bump into me?!

Friend of the Animals
Alrighty we ended in the middle of a birthday party last time, right?
So I think that means we need to see what happened.
First up was Joel...
Joel grew into a loner with the artistic prodigy aspiration and is the spitting image of Caleb.
Mike's turn!
Mike also became a loner with the artistic prodigy aspiration. He however definitely takes after the Foxes.
Good thing he's the heir.
Not long after the twins' birthday, Merlin got sick so our cat daddy Graham had to head to the vet.
Graham's visit got him thinking... maybe he could buy this little rinky dink vet clinic.
After all, he's now devoting himself to animals and family, what better way to do just that?
Maddie still has to constantly paint to make any progress on her fabulously wealthy aspiration.
The only time she ever seems to get a free moment is when big brother Harry comes over and makes her relax.
The extra income could definitely help and with all of Grahams' vacation time, I don't see why they shouldn't open a vet clinic.
I mean I did download the cheapy so someone could take on the vet career. Who's better than the immortal Graham? Another skill for him to level in his quest to know and do everything!
Cheap Vet C w. everything by baadumtsh
Welcome to Foxy Furbabies!
As you can see our starter clinic is quite small but it has everything Graham will need to get this place up and running.
Naturally, our first client had to be Not so Berry's Xena.
She was also in heat...
I love Monty's face! Like what do you expect from me?!
When the cats aren't at the clinic with Graham they're acting just like their real-life versions.
Always playing,
and pampering each other.
Graham keeps the clinic open until the adults get out of work so the twins come by after school and work on their homework.
And sometimes I even let the family go to the occasional festival.
It seems our time is at an end so Graham's made a decision.
He's letting go of the past and getting ready to move forward.
Graham's new makeover is looking mighty fine if I do say so myself.
My new plan for him is to work on a different aspiration each new generation or milestone (death of a loved one).
Right now he's working on friend of the animals. As for what's next and if he'll ever find another love we will see how the game plays out and what he rolls with me having him enchanting everyone he greets.

An Introduction
A new legacy means new rules.
Harry is our founder and his family is going to be trait-based.
Have you figured out which trait by their name? You were thinking good right? I know you were.
Congratulations you are correct!!!
The Serenity family heirs must have the good trait like founder Harrison. But don't worry we have backups just in case the random trait generator is mean and doesn't give it to a child. (And so I don't end up with too many legacies too quickly)
If no children receive the good trait a male heir will suffice BUT any child (male or female) who roles evil is automatically disqualified from being the heir. That would just not flow with the serene environment we are trying to create here.
Gawrsh that's a big block of text let's get to the good stuff.
Aka pictures!
Harrison and his husband Neil have moved to Oasis Springs.
Sienna Starter by FOLLYFOOT
It's not much to look at but it's a start.
The Foxes didn't have much money to spare for it.
(I take the money out of the original families funds when starting an off-shoot legacy to add a sense of realism.)
When I loaded the game they were both starving so they decided to have a breakfast date at the new restaurant I just downloaded.
As long as they hit gold on this they should complete Harrison's soulmate aspiration.
Bryce's Beach Diner by lionpaws
Wait what kind of fashion code is that?!
Surely that's against some sort of health code? Right?
Eh, whatever. He's cute (I'd literally just added him to the townies) so we'll let it slide.
Besides they have ice cream!!
I love how excited they are, they are just too cute for words.
Before they headed home they finished their date (and Harry's aspiration) with a bang!
Speaking of bangs...
Was that in poor taste? Or just a really bad segue?
Maybe a little bit of both?
Oh well, suck it up buttercups because these two can't keep their hands...
or eyes...
off one another.
Besides their constant need to woohoo, the Serenities tend to lead quiet lives.
Neil is usually programming for his tech guru aspiration and since there is no tv Harry has to entertain himself with good ol' fashioned books.
There's always the occasional visitor as well.
Of course, their first visitor was Greyson, that man's everywhere.
I don't think I mentioned it but Harry works in the charity organizer part of the political career.
I thought that worked best with his personality.
So he constantly has to guilt trip people into promoting his cause. So even something as fun as the GeekCon has a work element.
Excuse me I need to get this..
Go for Harry.
No way he what?!
I seriously love these random phone calls from family members. Though they almost always talk about Not so Berry's Goose.
Once Harry filled his donation quota he headed to the Gaming challenge.
Where he failed horribly!
I bet Neil would have done well, but sadly he was at work and they can't afford to miss any work right now.
Being the social butterfly he is Harry gets invites out on the town regularly and he and Neil took Wilma Beri up on her offer to head out one night.
She literally invited like 12 people it was ridiculous!
Old Brick Avenue by wicked_smith_24
I love this lot! It could be a bar a karaoke joint a cafe, whatever you wanted to label it as. Definitely recommend it.
That's about it for this part.
Except for a little convo the boys had...
Harry: So babe, I have been thinking. We need more money and my career, although noble, doesn't really bring in the bucks. If we wanna get this family started we need something more.
Neil: ok... What did you have in mind hon?
Harrison: A restaurant!
Neil: A restaurant? Did I hear you correctly?
Harrison: Yeah. There are almost no places to eat in this town... especially for vegetarians... so I was thinking we could change that.
Neil: *shakes head and lightly chuckles* That's why I love you, always want to help people even if it's just giving them access to the perfect restaurant. But how are we going to pay for it? We barely make enough to pay the bills as is, we are living on our bonuses from promotions.
Harry: A loan.
Neil: We just started out and now you want to take out a loan?... Why do I feel like you already have this planned out?
Harry: Yeah, you know me too well. I've already been to the bank and they've agreed to back us for 30,000 simoleons to get us started. For every week it's not paid off 1,000 is added in interest...... I know it's not a great deal...
Neil: But you really wanna do this?
Harry: .... Yeah... It'll be our legacy!
Neil: Screw it, call the bank, tell them they have a deal. I can't say no to your enthusiasm, no wonder you're so good at your job.
So yeah, that's my plan with Serenity. They are going to build a restaurant and hopefully not flop (I've never tried running one in game yet). I'll be deducting simoleons via the money cheat when they can afford to lose some.
And we will be monitoring their debt here:
Current Debt: 30,000

Purrs and Tots
So,
I loaded the game and...
Melisa died.
The horrible thing isn't so much that she died but what she died in. I mean why must the game do horrible things to Sims clothes when another household is out on the town?! Now if she ever pops out of her urn those horrible glasses will burn into your soul!!!
Speaking of terrible outfit choices, what the hell did the game do to Caleb while I was gone?!
Although I wasn't too upset she died.
(I need the room in the house)
Her family was overcome with grief.
Graham took things especially hard. He chose to hibernate in his coffin until he could once again face the day.
When he did emerge he had a whole new mission in life!
He's going to use his immortality to dedicate himself to taking care of his family and animals.
With a new focus for Graham, we better get the Foxes some pets.
Introducing Monty and Merlin
Bet you thought I'd give them pet foxes. But that would be far too predictable and they just scream cat people to me.
Ok, let me introduce you to these two lovelies because they are close to my heart.
These adorable guys are brothers and are modeled after some of my own cats who are sadly no longer with us.
First up is Monty
Sims Monty is very much like the real Monty.
I could have spent more time on his stripes but I was so excited to get him back that I didn't bother all I was interested in was that face. Which I nailed!
He's affectionate, this cat was always with me and spent many an hour sleeping on me while I played Sims,
friendly, he would go up to anyone, even dogs,
and a glutton, Monty'd eat anything! He once stole asparagus off my dinner plate!
Now let's meet Merlin.
Again Merlin here is almost identical to my Merlin.
He's curious, once he got stuck underneath the floorboards as a kitten and I had to pry the floor up,
a free spirit, although they were indoor cats Merlin found ways to escape,
and frisky, this cat would go from 0-60 like that and could play fetch with the best of them.
These two not only look like the real thing they act like it!
They are very close despite their opposing personalities.
And frankly, they are just too darn cute!
Yeah I'm a crazy cat lady. And proud!
These are probably going to be the only pets the Foxes ever get. Think I'm going to have Graham keep them around as long as he's around, and he's a vampire so, yeah.
Oh, I have more kitty pics but they are for the next update and you get to see just how much they remind me of the real thing.
For now, we have some tots to manage.
Seriously, cutest glitch eva!
Neither one of the twins has the wild trait but they have to be the most troublesome toddlers I've encountered yet.
I know I only got pictures of Mike but trust me they both do it, all the time!
Joel is the clingy one so you think he'd be the one to run out to see Dad when he gets home but nope.
It's the inquisitive Mike.
They both love playtime with Dad though.
For now, that is...
Now you may be wondering what happened to Neil and Harry but they had to go. Fear not though, they started their own legacy and will be back.
